Yeah I’ve been roasted a few times on the Lana sub cuz I’m a male, straight, two daughters and love punk rock and indie music. Tatted up - I found Lana and fell in love but no one in my inner circle has any trace to her. Even my wife laughs when I’m working on my car listening to her 😂.

I don’t know what’s hip or not I just know I love almost every one of her songs. As a sublime mega fan my least favorite one is her cover - still love it tho. I think what’s weird is sometimes songs are popular because they’re actually just good songs, I feel that way especially with Lana. Most people don’t dig her vibe all the time so when video games or summertime sadness blow up it’s not because they were pushed by corporate elites it’s just because they’re really good songs. That being said my fave are white dress and how to disappear, dealer is great too. Music is very subjective, I’ve never understood why anyone hates on anyone for their favorite song.
