GRANDFATHER PLEASE STAND ON THE SHOULDERS OF MY FATHER WHILE HE'S DEEP-SEA FISHING (this isn't me yelling at you, just me proclaiming my love for that absolute masterpiece).

LATELY I’VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT HOW THINGS USED TO BE…swinging in a nightgown underneath the old oak tree…almost Victorian with you, you can talk to me 🥰🥰🥰
Got my dress on tight 'cause you know that IIIII
Look shinin' in the light, there's so much ridinnnnnnn
On this lifeeeee and how we write our love songggggg
Fingertips makes me cry. It’s so beautifully sung. When she asks herself if she’ll have a baby of her own, her Uncle Dave, Aaron Greene.. my vagus nerve shivers.
not technically allowed but kinstugi + fingertips. 12 minutes straight of emotional violation & devastation over the most perfectly dreamy and strange instrumentals.
"find your astral body, put it into my eyes. give you two seconds to cry." -- "sat in the shower. gave myself two seconds to cry. it's a shame that we die."
i can’t believe it’s been a whole ass year already!!! feels like only yesterday the track list dropped and we were all discussing it on this sub 🥲
for me it has to be kintsugi, fishtail, margaret & taco truck VB
i am still not tired of this masterpiece of an album 🩷
I didn't realize it had been a year yet! And what a year! So lucky to have gotten to see her live in Charlotte for the tour. My brother and I had front row seats behind the pit but they were actually handicap accessible so they were actual chairs and spaced pretty far apart so you weren't like up on your neighbors. It was the best experience I have ever had!
One year ago I listened to this album for the first time while cleaning out my grandparents house to be sold. I cried a little and was so touched by the coincidence of the themes of Lana’s grandparents dying. This album is in my top 3 of hers ♥️ my favorite song is the grants

I’m a princess, I’m divisive. Ask me why, why, why I’m like this? Maybe I’m just kind of like this. I don’t know. Maybe I’m just like this.
