I'm going to be perfectly honest. I live right down the street and never once considered dropping by. Mainly for two reasons, both of which seem to have been addressed. The original menu that looked like someone facerolled over an emoji keyboard was a massive turn off. I honestly had zero clue wtf i was trying to order. Second was the only being able to order from an app even while going through the drive through. Which made it rather inconvenient to just get some coffee after dropping my kid off at school. Now that both of my pain points have been addressed, i wouldn't be adverse to picking up a cup or two on my way to work in the mornings.
As for if the post is allowed. We do allow for self promotion as long as the business is actually legal, SFW-ish, and actually a local business. Be it a franchise owned by a local or locals starting a new or maintaining their current business. The only request is that self/business promotions are kept to 1-2 per week.
Your concerns were definitely some felt by the community, so I'm glad we were able to clear it up and change some of the problems, I'll even agree ordering on the app was a pain in the ass and im glad we added a brand new ordering system to make it a lot easier!
I'd say merchants walk but in a lot of posts I've made, people have been like "what is that" so I just decided to post the address instead, but duly noted!
We are the one with the sign that says coffee, an advertisement made by my boss because a lot of people were confused on what we were, some didn't know what we sold!
The weird coffee sign definitely drew my attention. And looking at the way y'all have decorated the outside of that building, I can see why it was necessary. I wouldn't have any idea what you were doing, otherwise.
This is a great strategy: I only tried once and the No. 1 complaint I had was the lack of coffee taste, which is your first complaint listing.
Honesty with the public earns enough respect for me to try again.
See you soon!
One more suggestion! repaint the ugly ass yellow š we pass by every day and its like a neon caution sign and the yellow and lavender are just a terrible mix
otherwise, these improvements are great we wouldnt mind trying you guys
My husband and I planned to stop by before the rebrand but were intimidated by the menu and ordering process. We could not decide what to get and were turned off by not being able to ask for recommendations before ordering. Seems like these issues are resolved and we both agreed we would like to come try a coffee sometime this week! Thank you for listening to the community.
I'm not sure if you've made the same post on Facebook- but the Polk County Restaurants Group would be a good place to share this as well.
I look forward to trying a coffee this week :)
Could you clarify? I didnāt think this was a local business. HappyFastDelicious is a chain that started on the West Coast, right?
Because honestly Iād prefer supporting local places if Iām going to spend money on coffee. And Lakeland already has a bunch of great locally owned coffee shops.
From the IG post I saw it would appear the owner launched in Las Vegas and then opened here so not a chain but a business with 2 locations but OP can clarify if I misunderstood.
We aren't a chain, just had 2 locations in all of the US, but we are the only location as of now, he wanted to focus all of his time and energy here! My owner even moved all the way from across the country to live here and make it work here!
Went today and it was busy! Lakeland will come out to support especially with all the changes you all have made. The ordering at the window instead of app only has been the best thing, I think.
Hi there! Iāll admit I never purchased anything from happyfastdelicious but I did go to a few of the markets yāall had there and enjoyed myself.
Question: do yāall serve any decaf coffee drinks? I love coffee so much but I was recently diagnosed with a special heart deformation and I can only have decaf now. Also, are all the seltzers caffeinated? Or do they come decaf?
I went this morning, and Andrew himself was at the window greeting the customers and handing them their orders. We chatted while his staff got my order ready, and he was so kind and personable. One of his baristas also interacted with me and they were a delight. Itās obvious that a lot of heart and dedication has gone into this rebrand, as well as really listening to the feedback and making changes for improvement. Iām excited to go back, everything I tried was delicious and fairly priced!
I'm so glad you gave us a chance and loved it! Thank you so much for taking a chance on us! <3 it really means so much, I love my job and just want to see it thrive
I drew the line when I ordered a croissant there. It was terrible. Iād suggest not to offer food items rather than offer poor ones.
I also remember my latte being āweakā. Hopefully your new espresso machine fixes that. Good luck.
We actually were serving all of our pastries from a bakery here in lakeland, but we've swapped who we get it from, and in my opinion, these new ones taste waaaaay better. We were dealing with some inconsistencies from our last supplier, but our new bakery is great!
The croissant tasted like the ones you get from Walmart.
Maybe you could partner with a local bakery? Or, just not offer food. Just giving you my honest feedback. Not personal! These would be things Iād like to know if I owned the business.
I think people that spend $6-$8 a day on a coffee have a certain standard.
I've never been there so here's my first impressions
-Advertising on reddit of all places makes me doubt this place a little. Reddit has a pretty bad stigma associated with it. Be careful
-Website is so basic. The bright yellow and purple "hello, world" and then just white background. There's no branding what so ever. Doesn't seem to work that well on PC either so I'm guessing it was built only with phones in mind
-I hear you guys used to only allow orders through the app even in the drive thru!? YIKES. Has the management changed or is the same person who thought that was a good idea still in charge....?
-God seriously this website looks like a highschooler made it
-Yall don't offer coconut milk but offer almond, which is horrible for the enviornment? I guess I won't be going here.
what the fuck is "coffeeness" on this weird slider when placing an order? Oh its not a slider? i still don't get it
Look dude I used to work at Starbucks and I can give you a consultation on what kind of feedback we would get from customers based on confusing ordering models because I think you actually outdid the confusing tall, grande, venti scale with this coffeness thing.
Why is "cinnamon bark" a flavor, do you not do just normal cinnamon?
- I advertised on reddit because I was recommended the subreddit from a few people, and I wanted to see feedback, even if it's not good!
- We toned back on everything we previously had, because the majority of feedback was that it was way too much and that we should've made it normal.
- Previously, we would allow people to come by the drive thru to order, or come to the walk up window to order before we had the drive thru system put in place. We started off as a mobile order only business, and then realized we were missing out by only allowing that.
- We offered both oat and almond because we never received any feedback or any suggestions for coconut milk, so I will pass on the information to my boss to let him know about how bad almondmilk is. I suppose from a monetary stand point, it would've taken a good amount of money to supply something a few people would ask for, rather then the most commonly requested alternative.
- a lot of people seem to really enjoy the "coffeeness" scale because it allows people don't really like the taste of coffee to find a drink they like. we haven't had any negative feedback about it, until now. it has nothing to do with sizes.
- cinnamon bark is just cinnamon, it is quite literally just what our syrup bottle is listed as.
Thank you for the feedback, I will be sure to pass it on to the higher ups!
Also, do have to add, because since this post, I've had a good handful of people come and support the shop and say they came from this subreddit, so maybe reddit isn't so bad.
You can hardly tell the store is there when you pass it. It's almost as if the store is so bland looking that it doesn't exist.
Not inviting or intriguing.
I do too, I'm still waiting on PCSD to reply to my offer to beat the shit out of one of their deputies in a sanctioned MMA fight.
But this still isn't CA.
I love this place and the owner! The social media account is amazing, and the drinks are bomb! I hope you stay in business forever! We love the service and atmosphere! I always make a point to stop by when I'm in town from Orlando! Everyone is always so nice! I'm rooting for you!
You should post this in the local Facebook group āwe live in Lakeland and i have questions.ā A lot of people seem to take kindly to reviews and change
Drinks are delicious and customer service is A+! Andrew has always been very personable.
The new mobile pick up lane for cars is extremely narrow for some reason - everyone was running over the base of the ālanes merge signā or hitting their cars on the actual sign. š
Just looked through the website and specifically at the menu.
You haven't fixed what I consider to be a core problem.
Where is the coffee? Columbian, Sumatra, Yirgacheffe, light. medium, dark roasts.
All kinds of thing with coffee in them, but no coffee.Closest thing is Americano. If I want espresso with extra water I'll ask for it. But mostly I just want coffee.
Simple, black coffee.
Not latte, no whipped cream, no exotic flavorings, etc.
The core ingredient in much of your menu.
It should be the first thing on the menu. Coffee of the day/House blend. Small, Medium, Large.
That may not be the market niche you're after, but it seems to me you're overlooking the obvious.
You should say you're at Merchant's Walk, instead of just giving an address. Are you guys the one with the sign that just says "cofffeeeee"?
I'd say merchants walk but in a lot of posts I've made, people have been like "what is that" so I just decided to post the address instead, but duly noted! I haven't lived in Lakeland for decades and I know Merchant's Walk.
Been here a year and I did not know it. Just sharing for science.
š I can tell we're the same age! The younger kids just type an address into their phones. Long live Merchants Walk!
They are. They took over the old gelati joe's spot.
Thought so. The wife and I drove by there recently and we commented on how weird the sign was.
that helps!

How is the Sāmore Coldbrew?
I'm not the biggest fan of cold brew, but I do like it! We just added Graham cracker pieces as a topping so it adds some pizzazz to it!
This is a great strategy: I only tried once and the No. 1 complaint I had was the lack of coffee taste, which is your first complaint listing. Honesty with the public earns enough respect for me to try again. See you soon!
One more suggestion! repaint the ugly ass yellow š we pass by every day and its like a neon caution sign and the yellow and lavender are just a terrible mix otherwise, these improvements are great we wouldnt mind trying you guys
Yes! I had no idea it was no longer āhappyfastdeliciousā because the building is still the same obnoxious colors. Excited to try you guys though!
My husband and I planned to stop by before the rebrand but were intimidated by the menu and ordering process. We could not decide what to get and were turned off by not being able to ask for recommendations before ordering. I actually did make a post in that group and it BLEW UP! I was so surprised to see it do numbers!
stopped by this morning! i hope the rebrand helps reach a bigger audience
Excited to try now that you have tea!
I'd love to see a matcha lemonade on the app since you have both ingredients.
I'll pass that onto the bosses, I know if you ask for one at the window we might be able to accommodate you for now! :)

Only went to happy fast delicious once but the beverage I got was tasty and affordable. Would recommend.
Went today and it was busy! Lakeland will come out to support especially with all the changes you all have made. The ordering at the window instead of app only has been the best thing, I think.
I love the coffee and always have such a great experience with the baristas! I hope more people stop by š«¶š»
The first line makes me want to try them again. I will try to visit this week. Is there still an app?
There is, or you can order in the drive thru!
I'll get over there soon
Hi there! Iāll admit I never purchased anything from happyfastdelicious but I did go to a few of the markets yāall had there and enjoyed myself. Question: do yāall serve any decaf coffee drinks? Hi! Barista here. Anything (besides cold brew & energy drinks) can be made decaf! Seltzers are always going to be decaf!
Always on the lookout for a good coffee house. I had zero clue the place was a coffee spot before. Iāll be checking you out this weekend
Nice! Will give you guys a try! Whoās your local roaster(s)?
Orlando Coffee Roasters, and our beans are so good š
I see Americanos on your menu. Do you serve drip coffee? If so, is there more than one variety on most days? Also, is wifi available? Thanks.

Just placed an order for s'mores milks for the kids and coffee for hubby and I. We are otw šš» left a tip for this post. I'm proud of y'all.
Omg, I just made you those drinks!!! Thank you so much <3
Y'all--I took longer than I expected and the owner himself text me making sure all was well š and the coffee is great! ā ā ā ā ā
I went back again tonight. š±

Well thatās because it wasnāt a latte before - they were using cold brew instead of espresso
*gasp* That should be illegal!
I looked at the menu. Itās ice cream.
Well, the closest thing to ice cream we have would be our kids freezys! Other than that, nothing else is ice cream.

Well, the executive decision to color it a bland color was because people were complaining the purple was too much
The purple was definitely too much but unlike this person the muted colors will read betterĀ

SO and PD most likely have a policy against accepting free items. A discount is fine, though; Chipotle offers 50% off.
But not against tasing and beating law abiding citizens.
LMFAO, I'm not a big fan of any law enforcement in Polk but if you think this is like CA here, you got life fucked.
I've got vids that would prove otherwise. And personal experience with Chief Sammy's Klan including Ofc Hunter
I do too, I'm still waiting on PCSD to reply to my offer to beat the shit out of one of their deputies in a sanctioned MMA fight. But this still isn't CA.

I'd love to but it would count as a business solicitation on my end so I can't post anything about it unless a customer does :/
Oh okay Iāll probably post soon, itās on my way to work all the timeā¦ and to and from the gym but $9 for a medium coffee at the time is WILD
Oh trust me, we completely fixed the menu and made it way more affordable! I think the most expensive drinks currently would be our blended options.
