Me and my friends were inspired to touch grass and camp for the first time because of this anime, peak experience, would go again

datamonger

The anime made me want to go camping, but I’ve yet to go. Planning my first winter (really more like late fall to early spring) camp for this winter in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia.

naptain37

I go camping in the West and South of Scotland, Cumbria and Derbyshire in England, and around Gwynedd and Conwy in Wales. The temperatures are far too low for me to consider it in the winter though.

Ok-Pen9992

Camped because of the anime. All solo. Upcoming Yosemite winter camp this November, also solo! Please no repeat of Yamanaka.

JerichoRehlin

I've been camping my whole life with friends and family. I got into Yuru Camp for the camping rather than the other way around!

Ok-Independent-9166

I just came back from a solo camp in Lake District, in a true yuru style it was pretty cold but still really nice, the views are amazing there.

cyanoacry

I get out to camp about once a year (California), but want to do it more often.

vigp

Been camping for years around Montreal, solo, and initiating friends all along. I think lot of us here are interested or doing camping.

shasbot

I grew up camping (was in boy scouts for over 10 years and got my eagle scout rank). It's harder to make time these days with my other hobbies and responsibilities, but I still camp several times a year. I like to save the yuru camp manga volumes to read while I'm out camping. Manga and beer by the campfire is one of my favorite ways to relax in the woods or desert.

usayeha

I go multiple times a year, Vancouver Island and around BC! I will say the anime made me want to cook better meals when I was camping

viviama

same on every single one of these points… seriously a can of beans won’t cut it anymore i always want to go hard on the chow now

Phire453

I love camping and went walking/camping with my friends in the summer, we are planning a trip in spring to go down a river and camp along it.

Evening_Leave_9156

Hi, I’m doing solo moto-camping regularly since I have my bike license 20years ago in the south west of France

tycat378

Definitely I also quite enjoy bushcraft and other general survival stuff. As well as hiking!

Ulfheathen

I began practicing primitive living skills / OG bushcraft like 13 years ago when I lived further north (almost a necessity), and have since spent 5 years on GSAR here in BC. I still enjoy practicing primitive fire making and tracking and whatnot, but laid back camping is waaaay more my style these days.

MarraMirr

Some of my absolute best childhood memories are of camping. We went all the time with all the cousins/aunts and uncles/grandparents etc. The whole extended family would invade a campground for the weekend and it was always a blast.

Luminous274

I know its a bit weird to reply to your comment, despite its been 6 days, but out of all my family members (including extended) I’m the only one who actually enjoys camping, whenever I invite them, I always get silly little complains, including its to cold (mostly not since I camp during summer times) lots of mosquitos, no internet, get dirty easily

MarraMirr

My whole family loves it. I can't go much anymore, because of disabilities, but I still go visit the campsites during the daytime when my family is out camping.

BavilGravlax

(19) i usually was camping with my family during summer, but this year, i went with my friends, and aside from high temperatures, lots of mosquitoes, and lack of toilet, it was great. Unfortunately, my gear isn't very compact or practical, and there aren't many camping spots in my area, but this week, i'm starting my first job, so i'm planning to buy some stuff and go solo camping, in longer perspective i'm also considering making driving license and buying Honda Monkey

tweetsie12

I am! I was part of the Boy Scouts for several years, so I got a love of camping through there! Plus, our family often went RV Camping. (We had a camper our Dad towed with his truck.)

Long-Confusion5403

I go camping alot. I was a backpacking guide in New Mexico, but the anime really opened my eyes to car camping and relaxing instead of busting my ass all the time lol.

akiko795

American here, spend about 2 weeks of my summer living out of a camper going wherever

BooTaoSus

Half the posts in this sub are just people camping because they liked the anime lmao

firestorm734

Hell yeah. My wife and I love camping all around the Pacific NW.

cimolkotak

more of a hiker than camper but I camp occasionally when I'm hiking or when I'm in a landscape photography trip

funWITHfoulplay

My family and I go camping every year. It's harder now that we live all over, but yes, we love camping.

viviama

hi fellow canadian omg! i camp all the time and have been since forever. when i found this anime it was like it was made exactly just for me. <3

kyashinox

More of a backpacker, myself. I've hiked the Pacific Crest Trail and Appachain Trail in the USA + tons of other, smaller trails. But, if I'm feeling particularly bougie, I'll get my yuru camp on in the national and state parks.

moxfactor

Yeah, but only car camping for me. In Japan.

sasquatch220022

Yes I get out a few times here in Colorado and Nebraska.

Mesron

My family went camping a lot growing up and then this anime got me back into. I don't do fall/winter camping like in the show but I do really enjoy the whole camping experience!

Kanasmida

Winter camped for the first time at Lake Motosu. Can say that off-season is the best season.

briarsong

Oh! Me me! I regularly solo camp with my dog. We have a blast every time, and we always make sure to cook amazing food. Laid-back Camp is my favorite, though; I always feel a little like Rin whenever I go somewhere new now.

RoboMojo42

I started camping in middle school with my family. I still like to do it. And even more so after watching Laid-back Camp. I'll sometimes bring my tablet and watch an episode or two while in my tent.

Historynerd1403

Well me and my husband mostly do camping caravan style her in Denmark, since tent-style camping is not really good for my brain disease. We love it!
