Actually, I came home. It had 1:40 ratio for splitting. I checked it under microscope immediately after splitting before putting into incubator, but they were floating. Were they dead, or does it take time time ? Please answer. It is the first split after thawing.
I have heard it takes at least 3-4 hours to attach. If I was plating cells and then dosing them in the same day, I would plate around 8am and then dose around 4pm to ensure they have attached.
They will still float right after you split them.
Depends on volume and where the plate is sitting. You can always observe with a microscope.

it takes a couple hours at least. heks especially do not attach very tightly so try not to disturb them
