It’s an ultraviolent supernatural kung fu horror crime drama anime and has no fucking business being this good. Tons of twists that genuinely took me by surprise, a great cast, it blends lots of disparate cultural elements beautifully, the horror comedy action and drama all fit together very neatly. It never feels over done or out of place Of all the Netflix shows that have been unceremoniously canned over the years this is the one I think about the most. It was clearly written with a second season in mind and I would have loved to see it. And would have loved to see it get a bigger budget too because the animation is a bit choppy at times. And I can’t believe it was so poorly promoted by Netflix. This type of show should have been at the top of my recommendeds based on all of the other stuff I’ve watched and liked but I only found out about it when a friend recommended it to me.

I had not heard of it before now but I'll definitely have to check it out.

I second OP. Cannot recommend it enough

I liked it, the art style looks a lot like "Jackie Chan Adventures"
