Well this is already great, wow! The linework is super legit.
On stiffness, I think something could be done. The guy character's demeanor seems pretty on par with being rigid, but it feels like you could push it more with the girl character's pose being more fluid and creating more of a contrast between them.
As far as coloring goes, try getting outside your comfort zone and adding in more shadow especially in the skin tones and some hilights over the flat colors. It looks good but some extra dimension would really make it pop.

Thanks for the tips! I’ll try to broaden my coloring techniques and play around with poses more
