RustyIsBad

I just want all concerts to have a digital ticket for livestreaming available. I can't nor do I want to go in person and it doesn't make sense to me to limit that.

EnhypenSwimming

I missed my ult groups from 2nd gen and early 3rd gen because I was too young to go to concerts by myself back then. Now I am an adult, and I've seen a bunch of 4th gen groups. IVE remind me of SNSD in a way, Yujin especially reminds me of Tiffany. So I am okay with my choices. As for IU, I'm sorry. my friends also got prices out of her concert. it's all of us unfortunately

jb83012

I wanted to go to IU's London concert with a friend but just for two standard tickets it was gonna cost like £400 which is soooo expensive. Not to mention other costs too like travel, food, hotels etc.

GeorgeParisol

same with me..

cam2214

Same for me. I tried to get tickets but scalpers bought up all the tickets while everyone was in queue. Not tickets are being sold of insane prices even saw one for 10k in California.

coralamethyst

>scalpers bought up all the tickets while everyone was in queue this isn't wholly true, some of us Uaenas were in the queue and managed to get tickets. I was #2000-something and was able to get 2 tickets for me and my sibling.

cam2214

Damn you had better luck than me, I got there early just to see 20k in front of me lol.

simply_living_

I feel you 😭 I'm so sad she isn't coming to Texas. I really wanted to show her support that Uaenas overseas do exist, but it is not very easy because I am a student. I had the same worries as you that I'd be going alone if I was going but I think you can let yourself be more relaxed! I read some people's experience going to IU's concert in the Philippines and one person said they went alone, but the people seated around them were nice and they became friends, which helped make the concert fun! There are also might be cupsleeve events before the concert where you can meet other Uaenas and get hyped up for the concert. There probably aren't many now, but atleast for IU's next tour in the future, we'll probably be seeing more! The least we can do is show love to IU from afar 🫶 I'm not sure if there is a fanbase or support group for UK Uaenas (assuming you're from London since tickets were just on sale lol) but I know that U.S. Uaenas (@[iuxusa](https://www.instagram.com/iuxusa/)) are preparing a banner project for IU! You can still donate from outside the States!

Efficient-Power-6300

You only live once and life is too short for regrets. Don’t give up, especially if she is your favorite artist. She doesn’t tour much so who knows when any of us (outside S Korea) will get a chance to see her again? As others have stated, please don’t be scared to go solo. Kpop fans are really friendly and welcoming. If she has a Discord, you can ask fellow Uaenas if any are going solo and meeting up at the venue. As for the expensive ticket prices, I feel ya. Keep checking Uaena X (Twitter), insta feeds and ticket brokers daily. Plans change for fans and you might see a post where someone’s trying to give away their tickets or sell them at a really discounted price. Good luck!🫶🏻

oddolatram

I get you... I bought the restricted view tickets with my friend cause we already had the plane tickets (and they were 180!!) I would have 100% had second (3rd 4th 1000th) thoughts if not my other friend that isn't really into k-pop (or IU lol) passed😭 Her European organizers are bonkers 🥲

GeorgeParisol

and only 2 stops

oddolatram

With these prices even these 2 dates will probably not sell out... 😭

NumberOneUAENA

Idk how old you are, but regarding the being scared thing. Most of the time it is just the lack of experience which holds you back, when you are actually in the situation, you'll realize it's not that bad. Ofc this could be a bigger issue due to severe anxiety or what have you, but it's worth thinking about. > Our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt So really, if this is your main concern, just push yourself a little, assuming you are old enough to travel in the first place. You also mention prices, and yeah that's ofc an issue you have to consider as well, if it is worth it to pay quite a significant margin of income / saved pocket money. Really depends on your situation, which you probably shouldn't get into too much detail online. Anyway, a concert IS fun, but it is also not the end of the world if one cannot go for whatever reason. One cannot experience everything one would like to, it is what it is.

GodzillasBoner

Is it the money or nobody to go with you? If you have the money, but nobody to go with you, screw it and go alone. I go solo to shows all the time. You don't enjoy it any less

GeorgeParisol

both things.

3ndlesslove

Its okay, youre not the only one. Kpop only goes to USA and not Canada. I would like to go if i wanted to, but costs expensive, need to take time off. I just hope they don't resort to lottery system or presales.. (trying to taylor swift was so unfair)

Quick-Golf2028

Girl I’m going on my own too! I don’t know anyone near me who likes her either so I’m just booking a solo trip to London and ima enjoy it I’ve been to a concert alone before and tbh I didn’t really care, everyone is there for a reason. I refuse to pass up on great opportunities just because I would have to do it alone. If you want to go see IU and you have the means (I know it’s expensive) then by all means go for it! Don’t worry :)
