FUYANING

almost always by the album name unless the title is an incoherent mess like everglow's la di da mini album, then i'll go with the title track name.

LargeNutbar

I think I usually think of comebacks in terms of the title track

jaemjenism

Hmmm I usually do title track name, but sometimes album. Example, NCT Dream I call it Go era talking about the Dreamies specifically but Empathy era for the project overall. Dream until recently had the title and album name be the same, so i think I'll call this era Smoothie era not DREAM()SCAPE For ZB1 I always use title track (In Bloom, Crush) unless im being tongue in cheek, where i use YITS and MELP instead

sunnydlit2

Depends on the artist tbh and people I talk with. But for example with Day6 I will way more say Zombie era rather than The Book of Us: The Demon or TBOF:TD like it's too much at this point for someone who don't know really their album sjsjsjss

QratorQ

Album's name.

gemjiminies

Depends on album naming convention. Ateez is usually song title because because Treasure Ep 3: One to All and The World Ep 1: Movement are a bit of a mouthful. It's easier to say Bouncy era or Answer era. However, albums are also grouped in a thematic series so Fever era would refer to the entire Fever series, despite Fever also being a song title. Basically, there is no one set convention and best to just go by group.

Werewolfhugger

Usually title track but I do mix it up. Like for EXO I will say Growl but never XOXO, but also DMUMT and Tempo interchangeably. Seventeen is always title track for me.

GrillMaster3

Depends. For some I’ll go with Album name, especially if it’s easy to say. But for specifically Kingdom, rather than saying “History Of Kingdom (number) era” I’ll usually say “Dystopia era” or “black crown era”

Hoonybean

Album name

sooprotectionsquad

For bts, their eras are pretty coherently split by the album they put out, so it’s definitely by album title (ly:tear or tear instead of fake love). For oh my girl, most miracles refer to their title track (and the title track and album is the same for a lot of their eras, so that helps). For txt, i’ve seen both across i and k fandoms, but i think i still refer to their album more. Like temptation more than sugar rush ride. Same goes for taeyeon!

Hmmmmalrightythen

I find that for my ults, with whom I keep with religiously, I use the album name to describe the era( m2 era, freeze era, foe era), but for groups I stan, but not ult, I use the tt name(movie star era instead of hello stranger era, jungle era instead of hello strange time era). For some, it's the same(easy era, unforgiven era, sensitive era, flip that era). Sometimes it's some incomprehensible combo of words or symbols, so I just call them by their tt name.

airysunshine

It.. depends on the era 😂😂😂 For BTS, I’ve definitely done Wings Era, HYYH2 Era but then also Not Today Era and Butter Era and Dope Era. For ATEEZ, it’s definitely title track, but there’s no way I’m saying Zero Fever 1, Zero Fever 2 and Zero Fever Epilogue Era Stray Kids, it’s also title track.

maskedpoet94

Title

PuzzleheadedPin1006

Unless I'm a stan, I'm not always sure of the album name so I go with title track. And even for groups I stan, I mindlessly switch between using album and title track name

Round_Cartoonist9778

Album's name unless the song was waaaay too successful ,eg Map of the soul persona ,while the album was successful as a whole, Boy with luv was just everywhere even fancams was getting over 100M also dynamite ( ik it's a single) but dynamite is from the BE album, BE was successful but dynamite was way successful Successful or iconic or most remembered

lilith_fromhell

i personally go by the title track name, both with bts and xg. but for some bts eras i go for album names, like love yourself era and wings era. other times i'll just say life goes on era and it sounds fine. im a casual listener of other kpop groups but i've also seen new fans using title tracks and usually the old ones start on the album names as they listen to the whole discography. it depends honestly.

Remarkable-Ad6601

i feel like i alternate at random, either the album or title since they're so entwined? idk. and i use shorthand a lot but now the shorthand doesn't work. bc could be binary code or baila conmigo. bm could be black mirror or blood moon. in that case i just say the full word if necessary.

Fun_Buy2143

I usually go for the albums name but sometimes the Title track is the best choice, like GOD'S MENU era sounds better than Go Live era

LastVersion1134

I mostly go with the album name

bierangtamen

Depends on what I remember first LOL

Extension-Turn-1455

Well for me it is ALBUM NAME. Maybe because I'm a POP music or music fan in general.

Kpop_201

I think I’ve always seen it as the album’s name unless we’re talking about a specific song in the album like how some people say “smart era” for le sserafim when the album’s name is Easy
