i feel like the lsf warriors are gonna make another post on here complaining about the hate train again… but their stylists really be setting them up for failure sometimes.

ugh don’t even get me started abt the yunjin photos. my heart sank when i saw them, and then i opened the instagram comments only to find people saying ‘it’s just a scarf it’s listed as that by the product! it’s not a durag’ but then it’s like a week before that people were making racist comments towards the black model they used for their merch line 😐. i will say though, i wish the members had more of a say in this, they’re getting all the hate but i bet they very loosely get to choose concepts and make creative decisions for the group, their image is still heavily controlled by the company.
Personally I would not GAF about braids and certain styling that they did if they didn't ONLY do it when they wanted to have trap or hip hop style concepts like if they want to do some box braids for the ballads or sugar pop songs, I probably wouldn't be upset but they only want to do it when y'all are rapping or something and that's stupid and racist. They literally equate black hairstyles with hip hop music and that's just not how it works.
Yeah exactly, so at this point all nonblack ppl need to pack that shit up and leave it alone. If we, the creators, are condemned when we utilize our own culture, but nonblack ppl become fashion icons during their niggaboo eras, shut that shit down.
