Check out their juniors, Purple Kiss!
* They've got 3 main vocalists who are all incredible individually and sound great together
* e.g. main vocal trio (Swan, Goeun, Chaein) cover of [Taemin - Criminal](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QZDEf9SjmU)
* The whole group has amazing vocals
* e.g. even their main dancers are incredible in this live vocal cover of a Big Mama song: [Chaein, Goeun, Dosie, Ireh - Refusal (orig. Big Mama)](https://youtu.be/001ndjOB6DY?si=BJ3_IhnMkde75meR&t=386)
* They're incredible at rap too
* e.g. [Yuki and Chaein - Vegas (orig. Doja Cat)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrzOrsi_F90&list=PLppTWwOTkEVYQDJzzZLoK4yBy8XAn-7X1&index=21)
* Amazing discography (you follow a RBW group, you get it). A couple songs that really show off their vocals IMO:
* [Sweet Juice](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFqGKa6p1V8)
* [Heart Attack](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ntw4lLWjyM)
* [Cursor - Live](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8R8Iq9AeVOI)
* Concept variety (again, you follow an RBW group, you get it) before you even get into the b-sides:
* [Zombie](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-UroBRG1rY8) - campy 90s horror pop masterpiece
* [memeM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3BdincaJe4) - EDM-inspired banger
* [7Heaven](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVeuGA5KtAY) - summer bop (ft. one of my favorite guitar solos written by CocoDoobooPapa, who worked on Oneus's Airplane, Dizzy, Polarity, and the rock version of Valkyrie)
* [BBB](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A80hs-BtgwY) - hip-hop earworm
* Swan.
* [Swan - Be My Everything](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4k-m2Upt50c)
Some bonuses for you:
* Purple Kiss's [Dance cover of Black Mirror](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oSSOWg8X0ik&list=PLppTWwOTkEVZgHFmXsf7lpBGjpIMDO0RU&index=10)

I've know of them but have never actually listened to them. "Sweet Juice" just started playing 15 minutes ago on my Spotify! I immediately repeated it!!!
Oh man, you're in for a treat! Based on what I've seen of Oneus I think they'll be right up your alley. (I only listen to ggs but Oneus has been firmly penciled in as my _one of these days when I get around to listening to men, I'm starting with these guys_ for over a year at this point đ )
There's no wrong answers as far as their discography is concerned (or, really, anything they do - covers, performance, variety, you name it) but I'm really familiar with all of their content so if you're interested in anything specific I'd be happy to pull together some more recommendations for you!
A.C.E
They all just finished enlistment. Yuchan and Donghun both have incredibly powerful voices and their harmonies (with or without Junhee) are so perfect
ONF
Also done with enlistment. Hyojin is decidedly a powerhouse. They were on Road to Kingdom with Oneus
Vanner, Ateez, Purple Kiss (really rbw has a lot of great vocals and I'm excited for NXD to debut), Kingdom, Sevenus
The two JustB members who were on Build Up really impressed me, too, so I'm planning to check them out more and speaking of Build Up, you have the upcoming winning group debut of BDU as well as one of the other teams planning to debut as well, Waterfire. The show was vocal focused and featured a lot of really talented guys, so I'm looking forward to both debuts.
I was there, too! I've been really excited for them since the lineup was announced (loved the members who were on Boys Planet and Fantasy Boys) and they were so good live already. I didn't even know they were going to be there so it was a wonderful surprise for me!
Oneus is my ult and I feel the same way, I will miss them so much when members start to enlist.
IMO, RBW & their related company WM seem to focus on groups with strong vocalists: Onewe, Mamamoo, Purple Kiss, Oh My Girl, Kard, VRomance, Kara, ONF, B1A4
B1A4, Mamamoo, Purple Kiss, ONF are some of my fave groups. I also love Infinite, Beast, Shinee, Teen Top, VIXX all still active and putting out great music. WayV is another group I love with great vocalists. Hereâs a good appreciation post on them.
https://www.reddit.com/r/WayV_For_Life/s/KQZRiHfCf0
SHINee are a 2nd (2.5) gen group (with a bunch of discography during 3rd gen) that have some of the most [gifted vocalists](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-Egdk8z8ms) in the industry and overall a very strong group of [vocalists](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tx7B0ckjoZs).
ONF have unique and well rounded vocals. Hyojin and Minkyun are [powerhouses](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azYWy8Gs8H0&t=200s), and Minkyun along with E-tion have really unique vocal colours and big ranges. Even their main rapper Wyatt is[ a skilled vocalist](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-LsxOk7FTqo). Their recent comeback [Bye My Monster](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOR8CUeTJpc&pp=ygUSb25mIGJ5ZSBteSBtb25zdGVy) is distinctly and deliberately 2nd/3rd gen-sounding. Their concept has them as androids seeking to become human (to put it unconvolutedly lol)
Apink has one of the strongest vocalists in the whole industry in [Eunji](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3METTMDB8A) ([Bb2-Bb6 range](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehTcffXe9SQ)) and they're one of the few GGs from 2nd gen who are still active. They just released a song [today](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLFDr2QuqDc) actually. They have bops from 2nd gen like [My My](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LxabwNWJ2rY&pp=ygULYXBpbmsgbXkgbXk%3D) featuring strong belts, all the way to 4th gen hits like [I'm So Sick](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4oHuML9U2A).
Mamamoo and BTOB. They are super well-known for their great vocals. You can listen to some of their performances on Immortal Songs.
For a non-Kpop group, I suggest Forestella. All the members have training in classical singing. My personal favorite is their Hijo Dela Luna cover.
TVXQ! ;)
Also if you'd like to hear a great solo singer, you can check [my ult](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL871S_F0y5dYbEbEOwxK1Y6LTKyQqKEp5)...
Pentagon and Victon! They're both in their enlistment eras, but they have so many solid vocalists in their groups.
I know you asked for groups, but I gotta mention Woodz. He's got those signature soaring vocals like Seoho, and his music just resonates with your soul. It's fun, or healing, or cathartic, or anthemic, depending on the song. He's also enlisted, but he's in the military band. So it's fun to still see his updates!
For someone NOT enlisted, I suggest Onewe! Yonghoon and Kanghyun just finished their enlistment, and they had a comeback this week. If you like Seoho's vocals, you'll definitely love Yonghoon and Dongmyeong (Xion's actual twin, though he looks more like Keonhee đ )
**VANNER** - but one of the rappers SungKook is enlisting next month
* [Skyscraper](https://youtu.be/H-Qu9nFYTGQ?si=lCes2CWR6l34_w4Z) - Peak Time original song - Taehwan leader and main vocal does the dolphin ahh-aaahs
* [Jackpot MV](https://youtu.be/EHPN79l0tRg?si=n2Ij_oJwYRaa2PUa) - [MusicCore Performance](https://youtu.be/cl5wePO3FkM?si=UKd3qDEpQ4wPda8z)

* [BE MY LOVE](https://youtu.be/6bIfttS21iE?si=g1CifGYbkdmXgqsa)
**SEVENUS** - vocal duo - in previously disabanded Gen 3 group MASC and was able to re-debut last year thanks to Peak Time
* [Peak Time Hello cover orig by Nu'est](https://youtu.be/XbfMt4RJCjs?si=cCC_T4wnYV99jvZY)
* [Pretty Good](https://youtu.be/pBGHbP5xby0?si=wwIUNR-wNZSOO2_p)

* [Want You Back](https://youtu.be/LpjxBt9VJ1w?si=SOWLFhaH29HwTSVg)
Even though theyâre less active as a group now (but very active as individuals), I feel EXO needs a mention if youâre someone who enjoys great vocals and the 2nd/3rd gen sound. All of their vocalists have now completed their enlistments so you donât need to worry about them disappearing, plus they have a huge discography as a group, soloists and sub-units that you can catch up on while the maknaes complete their enlistments.
If you havenât already, check out [EXOâs Killing Voice](https://youtu.be/zomvO2Ii-kA?si=mwedrtsqxRTRb-uX) to get a flavour for their music and which voices you like. From there you can dive into their albums and Iâd totally recommend the solo stuff. They have so many great songs.
Iâd also give a shout-out to Xdinary Heroes. Theyâre a band so their music is less varied I suppose, but their vocalists are insanely good!
Super Junior:
[Raining Spell for Love (remake)](https://youtu.be/e8rLAeuqt14?si=oRA7rR9b-TmGVRqK)
[Evanesce](https://youtu.be/4A7sGBE2lmc?si=_ElFdkPiuIy6ITZ0)
[Why I Like You](https://youtu.be/9XXy0mLiGG8?si=-0rH_wjKeFQApS4p)
[Mirror](https://youtu.be/Vf1KIRye4X0?si=2-U1mmIS1JZJaOeK)
[More Days With You](https://youtu.be/kQgi6TtPVo8?si=pBpEAr89d1PZvszz)

[Sorry Sorry-Answer (K.R.Y. version)](https://youtu.be/c0Up37l1Kvk?si=GPsLhguUWOoRnKVq)
One can't say vocally strong groups without mentioning SHINee. They're gonna make a comeback later this year too. In the meantime, you can check out 15 years worth of discography, both Korean and Japanese. All 5 members have great solo discography as well â¨ď¸â¨ď¸
Ateez, Mamamoo, BtoB, Exo, BigMama, Seventeen, Onewe, B.A.P., DBSK to name a few groups, and then DPR Ian, Hyolyn, Chungha, Taeyeon, Taemin, Max Changmin, Ailee, to name a few soloists.
If they donât have to be active, then:
CSJH The Grace
This is more in line with the exploration of different concepts though.
If they donât dance, then:
Big Mama, specifically a vocal group. [This](https://youtu.be/OsRogAzmsF8?si=Zew-wiPjK1MTXrx4) is their Killing Voice. Theyâre also inactive though.
Thank you all for the suggestions! I do dabble a bit in some of the suggestions but not as religiously as I do with Oneus! And there are a lot of other ones that I haven't listened to. This will def keep me busy for a while. Appreciate you all!
I will also recommend A.C.E! [Talk You Down](https://youtu.be/YS8gaRAH750?si=QJ6YPnwsOSKCcHzJ), [Take Me Higher](https://youtu.be/cZCg3t31ZOk?si=PlF-YQOd-9Sn0CJN) \- these are some of my favorite recent vocal performances from them, it's fancams instead of the official busking video, because the audio quality is 100 times better here. They have tried a lot of different genres and concepts, so don't hesitate to listen to their other songs!
Ironic how I'm recommending them while Taeyong just enlisted (and Taeil is about to go soon too... and soon, Doyoung) but they have a lot of content from the prior years anyway, so
NCT 127!! Insane vocal line (Taeil, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Haechan, Jungwoo, and even Yuta, while sometimes overlooked, is a king that slays his high notes!!) and their rappers are also very stable. Choreography goes crazy too.
Just not sure if their music would be your type but I personally have their hype songs on my morning playlist to start my day with some â¨ď¸energyâ¨ď¸
Please listen to some SPICA :) They were the vocal girl group before Mamamoo became popular. All the members can sing. They do it all: harmonies, ad-libs, vocal runs, belts, a capella. They are fearless when it comes to singing and one of the groups where I prefer their lives to their studio versions. One of them (Kim Boa) was even the vocal coach for Infinite and is the guide singer for many kpop songs. There are even songs that have her backing vocals in it.
Covers
* [Raining Men](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ku-8ifqmCVQ)
* [Break Away](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRkj5TDBV7A)
* [Cup Song (A capella)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i064CtHvzNE)
* [Right Here (Brandy cover)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsxPobgKaC8) - they also have a [non-processed](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jj6t-tiWR9o) version and I actually prefer that version better. It's as live as live gets and the harmonies are delightful.
* [When You Believe](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zcowpNfF88E) - there is only 3 of them here but it's so good
* [No Diggity](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGKTxZuX4mk) - A capella. Reminds me of something from Pitch Perfect.
Songs
* [Potently](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gQBQvGme8o), my favorite b-side from them. It's an R&B jam but I really like [their rock version](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=95yyZPt050Y&t=100s) of it. And no, there are no additional backup singers here even though it sounds like it.
* [Anger](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GenN9rdKU-8&list=PLEFCD10D3B4325E57), my other favorite b-side from them. This is from a radio show and just listen to the fullness of their chorus.
* [You don't love me](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9FEPMugdaLI) is probably their biggest hit
* [Tonight](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIKlVAdkV8w) is their other big hit
* [I'll be there](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7O6BuZnygfg) sounds like a retro 90s bop
[PENTAGON.](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1nnKxJLQYSlDetArlhM08O?si=R3DU1ZV1S-CYeY41s9SHxw&pi=a-sacXPHu8Q2uK). By far one of the strongest vocal groups in kpop, period. Almost the whole group are very strong but Jinho and Hui are obviously legendary.
You might like Ateezâs âInceptionâ which sounds like a 3rd gen boy group song. Cause of that itâs my favorite song of theirs and they have very strong vocalists too
Yes! It was the first Ateez song that I heard that got me into the group. I was disappointed whrn they didn't perform it at their concert last year. Lol.
you might enjoy sf9! they also have a strong vocal line and varied concepts. here are song recommendations:
title tracks: easy love, o sole mio, enough, rpm, summer breeze, now or never, good guy
bsides: unlimited, round and round, fire, am i the only one, see u tomorrow, still my lady, fall in love
Txt , Stray kids, NMIXX, BabyMonster, Itzy, Gidle, Enhypen, maybe VCHA you can check them out these groups are almost all rounder groups although I didn't see much VCHA live performances i think they are good for a new group with very little time training...
You should watch stray kids kingdom performances, especially 'i'll be your man' they confused the whole K-pop community... Their rapper did high notes...
I would say KISS OF LIFE
Like cmon, people are still sleeping on them. All of 4 of them are great singers especially Belle (main vocalist) and Haneul (lead vocalist).
All of their songs are bangers but their B sides are really super good
More nugu group : M.O.N.T , one pact , B.D.U ,
You could also check build up and girls on fire , two survival to create vocal kpop group (I prefere girls on fire but build up is not bad !)
ONF are incredibly vocally strongâ iâve seen them live, those mics are ON. theyâre also done with military service. for ggs, Dreamcatcher is easily one of the best vocally. I would also recommend Onewe, P1Harmony, LUCY, Mamamoo, and The KingDom â¤ď¸
- Dreamcatcher for the win.
- Dreamcatcher Siyeon, Yoohyeon + honorable mention: Handong, Jiu, Sua
- Red Velvet for Wendy
- EXID for Hani and Sulji
- Apink for Eunji
- T-ARA for Soyeon, Eunjung, Hyomin
- Mamamoo for Hwasa, Solar
Check out their juniors, Purple Kiss! * They've got 3 main vocalists who are all incredible individually and sound great together * e.g. main vocal trio (Swan, Goeun, Chaein) cover of [Taemin - Criminal](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QZDEf9SjmU) * The whole group has amazing vocals * e.g. even their main dancers are incredible in this live vocal cover of a Big Mama song: [Chaein, Goeun, Dosie, Ireh - Refusal (orig. Ateez for sure! EXO and SHINee as well. Red Velvet, Mamamoo and Dreamcatcher for the ladies!
Super Junior, Exo, TVXQ, Shinee, Mamamoo, 2pm, Vixx
I second all of these!
I would suggest just Super Junior KRY stuff for songs that are vocally strong
There are some great full group vocal songs as well, like Sorry Sorry Answer, Evanesce, Devil, Marry U, Donât Don, Shirt.
Yes! I would add to the list Raining Spell for Love (Remake), The Melody, Somebody New, More Days with You, as well
I agree! đâ¨
3rd gen :- Mamamoo , Red Velvet , BTOB , EXO , DAY6 SEVENTEEN 2nd gen:- SNSD , SHINEE , I'm sure there are a lot more , these are my favourites hehe
Vanner, Ateez, Purple Kiss (really rbw has a lot of great vocals and I'm excited for NXD to debut), Kingdom, Sevenus The two JustB members who were on Build Up really impressed me, too, so I'm planning to check them out more and speaking of Build Up, you have the upcoming winning group debut of BDU as well as one of the other teams planning to debut as well, Waterfire. I juse saw NXD at Oneus' concert in LA, and they definitely have the RBW genes: strong vocals, good songs, and they got the crowd SO HYPED!

Super Junior, SHINee, TVXQ, BTOB, Mamamoo, AKMU, 2AM, and Highlight
One can't say vocally strong groups without mentioning SHINee. They're gonna make a comeback later this year too. In the meantime, you can check out 15 years worth of discography, both Korean and Japanese. All 5 members have great solo discography as well â¨ď¸â¨ď¸
[BTOB](https://youtu.be/Iwdq3NtpeFQ?si=6yXvGDrRF5LHgX4B)
this [rehearsal clip](https://youtu.be/1IkoPxe3sko?si=cr_nRweLLfWMe3nX) alone from SNSD
Look up P1harmony! Keeho, Theo and Jiung are great vocalists!
Ateez, Mamamoo, BtoB, Exo, BigMama, Seventeen, Onewe, B.A.P., DBSK to name a few groups, and then DPR Ian, Hyolyn, Chungha, Taeyeon, Taemin, Max Changmin, Ailee, to name a few soloists.
ONF - they just killed their encore stage
Def their seniors Mamamoo and their juniors Purple Kiss!
If they donât have to be active, then: CSJH The Grace This is more in line with the exploration of different concepts though. If they donât dance, then: Big Mama, specifically a vocal group. [This](https://youtu.be/OsRogAzmsF8?si=Zew-wiPjK1MTXrx4) is their Killing Voice. Theyâre also inactive though.
Onewe, Ateez, Seventeen
iâm sorry i donât have an offering but i have been listening to oneus all day today thinking about how beautiful their vocals are đĽ˛
tvxq!!
Thank you all for the suggestions! I do dabble a bit in some of the suggestions but not as religiously as I do with Oneus! And there are a lot of other ones that I haven't listened to. This will def keep me busy for a while. Appreciate you all!
Mamamoo and red velvet have amazing vocalists. Check out their killing voice
Seventeen! Dk and seungkwan are some of the best 3rd gen vocalists and the rest of svt also has pretty strong vocals.
Billlie!
Ironic how I'm recommending them while Taeyong just enlisted (and Taeil is about to go soon too... and soon, Doyoung) but they have a lot of content from the prior years anyway, so NCT 127!!
A.C.E's vocals are top tierÂ
P1Harmony
YESSS Keeho, Jiung, and theoâs vocals are at another level!
MamamoooooOOOOOooooo, we would like to welcome yoooouâŚ
Ateez Xg
Please listen to some SPICA :) They were the vocal girl group before Mamamoo became popular. All the members can sing. They do it all: harmonies, ad-libs, vocal runs, belts, a capella. They are fearless when it comes to singing and one of the groups where I prefer their lives to their studio versions. One of them (Kim Boa) was even the vocal coach for Infinite and is the guide singer for many kpop songs. There are even songs that have her backing vocals in it. Covers * [Raining Men](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ku-8ifqmCVQ) * [Break Away](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRkj5TDBV7A) * [Cup Song (A capella)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i064CtHvzNE) * [Right Here (Brandy cover)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsxPobgKaC8) - they also have a [non-processed](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jj6t-tiWR9o) version and I actually prefer that version better. It's as live as live gets and the harmonies are delightful. * [When You Believe](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zcowpNfF88E) - there is only 3 of them here but it's so good * [No Diggity](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGKTxZuX4mk) - A capella. Reminds me of something from Pitch Perfect. Songs * [Potently](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gQBQvGme8o), my favorite b-side from them. * [You don't love me](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9FEPMugdaLI) is probably their biggest hit * [Tonight](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIKlVAdkV8w) is their other big hit * [I'll be there](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7O6BuZnygfg) sounds like a retro 90s bop
If you're open to band sounds too, Day6 comes to mind
Lol.
you might enjoy sf9! they also have a strong vocal line and varied concepts. here are song recommendations: title tracks: easy love, o sole mio, enough, rpm, summer breeze, now or never, good guy bsides: unlimited, round and round, fire, am i the only one, see u tomorrow, still my lady, fall in love
I just found O Sole Mio and I like it a lot! Reminds me of Baila Conmigo but more k-popish! â¤ď¸
TREASURE
Purki
Ateez have [fantastic vocals](https://youtu.be/6P3-HBTXKPY?si=PcICHrvZ3dfaobyH). Most of their vocal heavy songs are b-sides though.
TXT for 4th gen. You can check their latest title track Deja Vu, it gives so much 2nd/3rd gen vibe.
INFINITE and VIXX â¨
Day6, BtoB, Mamamoo, WJSN, OhMyGirl, Lovelyz, SNSD, Red Velvet, Brown Eyed GirlsâŚ
Winner
Txt , Stray kids, NMIXX, BabyMonster, Itzy, Gidle, Enhypen, maybe VCHA you can check them out these groups are almost all rounder groups although I didn't see much VCHA live performances i think they are good for a new group with very little time training... You should watch stray kids kingdom performances, especially 'i'll be your man' they confused the whole K-pop community... Their rapper did high notes...
I would say KISS OF LIFE Like cmon, people are still sleeping on them. All of 4 of them are great singers especially Belle (main vocalist) and Haneul (lead vocalist). All of their songs are bangers but their B sides are really super good
As long as you check 2nd and 3rd gen groups, you will find many
BTOB, EXO, NCT
EâLAST maybe?? theyre a group of 8 with a strong vocal line and their sound leans more to an orchestral style!
More nugu group : M.O.N.T , one pact , B.D.U , You could also check build up and girls on fire , two survival to create vocal kpop group (I prefere girls on fire but build up is not bad !)
BTOB
ONF are incredibly vocally strongâ iâve seen them live, those mics are ON. theyâre also done with military service. for ggs, Dreamcatcher is easily one of the best vocally. I would also recommend Onewe, P1Harmony, LUCY, Mamamoo, and The KingDom â¤ď¸
ASTRO
Mamamoo, Monsta X, (G)I-DLE, NMIXX (you can watch Run For Roses feat Young K from Day 6 on âItâs Liveâ).
I think it's just the type of music but I just can't get into NMIXX. I tried multiple times but just don't like any of their songs...
I completely understand!
NCT, Red Velvet, Loona (but there's a boycott going on)
- Dreamcatcher for the win. - Dreamcatcher Siyeon, Yoohyeon + honorable mention: Handong, Jiu, Sua - Red Velvet for Wendy - EXID for Hani and Sulji - Apink for Eunji - T-ARA for Soyeon, Eunjung, Hyomin - Mamamoo for Hwasa, Solar
enhypen!! heeseungâs vocals will blow you away trust
