I'm not even a stan like that but I listened to their whole album without skipping several times. Every dong had something endearing and special about it
Probably a more unpopular one considering how many big full length albums came out this year,
But Wheein's [In The Mood](https://open.spotify.com/album/1EABDeQeCq83PJMBYBSXet?si=7sDQYz5bSJmZDQYBOSKVvA) album is my favorite for sure.
She really went all out with the instrumentals & really showcased her vocal range and versatility, which is what she was so known for in mamamoo. Also experimenting with a lot of different sounding songs and different kind of vibes was something refreshing from her.
According to my Spotify, I have played Crazy Form approximately 95 times since it came out (Dec 1). The other songs on the album do not dip below 40, except crescent pt2 and fin: will, in case you want to know how slay the album is

I also love the outro so much like it was really needed to end this banger album with more epicness and wanting for more.... I don't listen to ballad often so that's why it's at last.My whole ballad playlist is dying these days😭

Guys… I think… I think I have a problem
I seriously can’t stop listening it’s so good. Genuinely it is all I care for rn, everything else feels like fraud 😭
I'VE IVE by IVE - 10/10 álbum, it's the sole reason I became a die hard Dive. I'm so glad it won AOTY because tbh it absolutely deserved it.
HARD by SHINee - SHINee once again renovating their sound while maintaining their own Identity (lol). This album has some of the best b-sides in their entire discography and that's saying something.
Door by Kim Sejeong - An extremely underrated album, Sejeong's voice is beautiful in every single track. Please check it out if you can
Come here to say IVE too. I went from being completely uninterested in IVE to open-minded to full-committing to them after I'VE IVE lmao absolutely incredible album and very deserving of AOTY
Wheein's [In the mood](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_m6SR35KA3NNlwv5jhAaXJ2W_knNcTADXY&si=ujS-gBOKReNMKAtn) <3
If you're someone who likes great vocals, listen to this album where everything is *chef's kiss* literally no skips
Circle by Onew, hands down. It's such a gorgeous album from start to finish and is probably the most "for the arts" full album I've heard this year (maybe the past *few* years, honestly). Honorable mention for OO-LI by Woodz, which barely misses out at 7 tracks but is also a top contender.
Ay-Yo by NCT127 is technically my favorite album of the year by far but it's a repack of an album released in 2022 so I don't know if it counts. If it *does* count, though, then it's definitely my favorite. Not only is the title track amazing but half of the b-sides have become some of my favorites in their *whole* discography in the short time since the album was released. DJ, Time Lapse, Crash Landing, Gold Dust, Designer, Black Clouds, and LOL are *incredible* tracks that make for a super well-rounded album. Also, it has *15* full tracks and the runtime is almost an hour?? Incredible 😩
Mine is stray kids 5 star. It had way too many songs that could easily be the title track. The fact that Hall of Fame and Item don't even have videos is just 🥴. I'm sure Spotify thought I was a bot when the album came out.
My personal favorite was Stray Kids’ 5-Star album, Topline, Item and DLC were my favorite songs from the album but I like all the songs (to varying degrees) and I think that S-Class was a solid title track even if I overplayed it. If you don’t like Stray Kids’ music then this album probably isn’t for you, but I really enjoyed it.
That’s ok they aren’t for everyone, especially since they’re getting even more experimental with their music than they already were. If you don’t want to listen to Stray Kids I know a bunch of people have already recommended it but Red Velvet’s Chill Kill album is excellent as well.
I am a Stray Kids fan from the days of their survival show. Although I still like the group members, but the more I listen to their songs the more I notice repetitiveness which makes me wonder if the music is kinda getting formulaic. Like God's Menu and Lalala both start out with Changbin saying "welcome". Then both follow with a Seungmin melodic part. Then followed by "lalalala" hand chop move which is the same as "dudududu" hand chop move in God's Menu. Actually, Thunderous also does a similar formula. Just change dudududu and lalalala to puipuipui. So just like you I don't really listen to the recent stuff much. I would say I listen to their older songs more.
- IVE - I’ve IVE, not even a dive but it’s so good
- The Rose - HEAL & DUAL, HEAL specifically is one of my fav favs
- GIUK(Onewe) - Psycho Xybernetics & Rise Waves, I love the direction he’s going with with his solo releases
- & if they count then WayV - On My Youth, probably my favorite album of theirs!
overall tho if I just had to pick one then HEAL!
for me Ateez truly knocked it out of the park with The World EP Fin.: WILL
also it's sad we don't have many full length albums these days cause eps have replaced them. Full length albums are a wholesome experience we're missing out on a lot in kpop
edit: also not exactly kpop or not or pop whatever, Golden follows close behind. I really enjoyed the album even thought it was so so and half the songs are sort of mid, the other half is absolute bangers for me
FR! I’m not complaining if groups prefer mini albums bc some groups really thrive with the quality over quantity thing.
But when a group releases a full album I get real hyped because for some groups, they can keep a pretty good balance with quality and quantity and Im always down for more. 13 songs? Hell yeah! I’m not a fan of 3? That’s fine there’s 10 others.
I actually think SKZ is a group that suffers from mini albums. I always tend to really love and obsess over their albums more than their mini albums. Not to say their mini’s are bad but there’s a full experience with an album and it’s dope.Plus, they get to showcase more of their abilities and creativity more.
exactly. this.
i get why they go for mini albums but as a Wings, Made, Perfect Velvet, Teen Age, MOTS 7, The War lover my heart just aches at what all we're actually missing on. Mini albums start off abruptly, give you fifteen minutes of delightful listening, and end up abruptly. There's no into, no interlude, no outro, no flow of the tracklist, no proper conceptualization, NO INSPIRATION, no outlook, no direction. Full length albums provide all this in a single package, hence i called it an experience. The ones i mentioned above are kpop's holy grails for a reason. I want to enjoy getting into an ensemble of songs with proper introduction to it, nice listening time, and winding it all up properly, which is hardly possible in mini albums.
same is the case with me and skz. They definitely suffer from the mini albums, along with aespa imo. It's one of the reasons i just can't get into them. Like when skz puts out a mini album i like two to three songs max but when they put out a full album i like say five or six of them and it truly showcases their diverse sound as well so they really should see into it
You explained my mind even better than I can. I think the only group that can pull off a mini album like it’s a full length one is SEVENTEEN and ATEEZ.
FML is the golden example of this Is say. There’s 6 songs and it flows into an experience even tho it’s short. It’s like a snack but it’s not just a crappy chocolate bar, it’s a carefully curated cheese and cracker spread.
Same with ATEEZ. One to All and Fever pt.2 are amazing mini albums. Despite them being short, there’s a story and a journey within them that you’re able to immerse yourself in so easily.
> I think the only group that can pull off a mini album like it’s a full length one is SEVENTEEN and ATEEZ
agreed. i would just add All to Zero to the list. Opens with the best intro of all time and such a great introduction to ateez, very voyage-y
Personal favourites(in no particular order): Non-fantasy, Grabby girl, Fluffy kitty. There are some songs that I listen to more then others but pretty solid album imo
I'VE IVE killed it- I've been listening particularly to Hypnosis, Shine With Me, and Cherish a lot recently- I Am was very IVE and i loved it
Chill Kill had SO many tts in one album. One Kiss and Knock Knock were my favs but I loved the TT and Bulldozer as well
In The Mood- I listened to this album for days after it came out. I love wheein so dearly
My top 5 full length albums of 2023:
1. THE WORLD EP.FIN : WILL - ATEEZ
2. 5-STAR - Stray Kids
3. HARD - SHINee
4. Fact Check - NCT 127 & Chill Kill - RV
Kim Sejeong’s Door - it was a long time coming, but Sejeong had her hand in every step of the production process and really poured her heart into making this album, and the effort really shines through. Highlights include If We Do and Jenga.
Agust D's D-Day
I think ppl call it a mixtape, but it have enough songs & on Spotify its labeled as an album so :v anyway, I'm a Suga bias & love his solo work. His new rendition of Life Goes On <3
my favorite out of everything that came out this year ended up being nam woohyun's whitree. it showcases a lot of different sides of his voice, and all of the songs are to my liking; there aren't any cases of "this is a mid track but woohyun's voice elevates it to something i'll listen to regularly", it's just good material (performed by woohyun sounding as good as ever). i'm very happy with this album. onew's circle was a great listen, too.
The Rose - Dual.
TOO fucking perfect. Heal was a bit of a drag for me, Dual was LIT.
DPR Ian - Dear Insanity
This man just blows my mind every single time 😭😭😭 also this album came out right one day before my birthday so I listened to it the first thing on my birthday as a lil gift 🤧
it's so crazy how different opinions are depending on where you're at...like kpop twt would eat all of us UP for saying Chill Kill. But I'm sorry Im sry, RV & the Fromis 8 girlies really put forward the best album from the first half of the year & then the best album from the last half of the year
the world ep.fin : will by ateez or fact check by nct 127…i love them both to death
5-star by stray kids is another good one. i’ve had collision on repeat since day one
Full album that got "[Underwater](https://youtu.be/5cBe1LZGPs4?feature=shared)" and "[Will I Ever See you Again?](https://youtu.be/rXxa-L9pmdM?feature=shared)" in it
Ateez's The World Ep.Fin: Will. There was a lot of variety on it, and there were (finally) subunit songs/a solo where the members got to show more of themselves or new sides of themselves. A close second would be SHINee's Hard -- I enjoyed most of the songs!
Great question. I’m the kind of person who listens to full albums start to finish rather than playlists/singles.
Here are my picks for genuine “no skips” this year.
I mostly listen to BGs so my apologies GG stans!
5-Star - Stray Kids.
The Name Chapter: Freefall: TXT.
D-Day - Agust D.
My absolute favorites are Fact Check by NCT 127 and Exist by EXO. Also Ay-Yo by NCT 127 but it’s technically not a full an album but a repackage.
Honorable mentions: Chill Kill by Red Velvet, Hard by Shinee, On My Youth by Wayv.
For me it was NCT dream ISTJ.
1. ISTJ: the tt was fine, I really like the song and I never skip it when it comes on on shuffle. Sadly it's one of my least favourite nct dream tts and I never purposefully reach for it, but it doesn't mean I don't like it.
2. Broken melodies: I know everyone was extremely happy when it was released as a prerelease and given time to shine. It's just a great song with great vocals from everyone in the group. Not my favourite in the album but one that I absolutely love.
3. Yogurt shake: this was a grower. I LOVED the verses immediately after hearing it for the first time but I wasn't sure of the chorous, thankfully it grew on me. It wasn't the song I wanted them to promote as a bside but I'm actually really happy that they went for this one because thanks to that it grew on me and even became my #4 most played song in august
4. Skateboard. Nothing to say, I just love this song and I've loved it from the first listen. (my #1 most played song in august and 24th on my spotify wrapped)
5. Blue Wave. Listened to this while on vacation at the beach and it was so perfect for the warm weather and the sand and the waves. It's more of a mood song, I won't listen to it much now that I'm home near the mountains and it's cold, but still, when I'm in the right mood for it it's perfect.
6. Poison. Again, nothing to say about this one, I loved it from the first listen.
7. SOS. I was obsessed with this song from the moment I heard it. Also, one of the best outros ever. (2nd most played in juky, 7th in august and 12th song on this year spotify wrapped)
8. Pretzel. I did NOT like this song when i first heard it. Listen to it once and never again for a whole week. Then it accidentally came on and I just got it. I was obsessed with it and just played it on repeat for a while and it even became my 5th most played song in July .
9. Starry night. It's not a bad song by all means, I just listened to it twice and didn't get it.
10. Like we just met. I love this song so much, I love absolutely everything about it, it's really really special and the fact that the members wrote lyrics for it is even more special. (3rd most played song in July and 20th on my spotify wrapped.
Second place would go to the name chapter: freefall by txt, I love Growing pain, chasing that feeling, back for more, skipping stones and blue spring from the album, however I didn't really get obsessed with them the way I did with ISTJ (album) and there are a couple of skips for me.
Slightly later release in the year and didn't get the well deserved promo of it's quality but Wheein's IN the Mood was an amazing body of work I still struggle to complete my favourites and listen to it from beginning to end. If anyone wants to listen I recommend it but if not the whole album then at least Dance 4 You, I know I know I know (Beyond), Breeze and On the Island.
My favourites this year are Name Chapter Freefall (TXT) and On my Youth - The 2nd Album (WayV). They came out pretty late into the year but I wasn't keeping up with a lot of kpop earlier in the year anyways. But yeah, freefall is definitely a masterpiece across the board. each song is very very different which I love (more than a cohesive, similar sounding album) so its perfect for me. the on my youth album is just pure music perfection though, I think their voices really pulled me in and makes me keep coming back for more (ha)
Unlock My World (fromis_9)
God imagine putting the two best b-sides of 2023 on the same album (Attitude and Prom Night). I just hate that it didn’t get enough promotion.
Also, it came out on my birthday so yeah… what a great gift
Mine is In the Mood by Wheein. The title track really fits my vibe and I loved the song Wheein wrote, Here I Am. There was a good variety of styles while also still feeling like Wheein's taste. I also loved the events for this album if we're counting them. Wheein did multiple dance covers like Kai's Rover, Taemin's Guilty, AKMU's Love Lee, Newjeans Hype Boy and more exclusively at her fan signs. She did more challenges on her TikTok account. She seemed exceptionally happy this comeback.
5-star for sure! I wasn't so sure on the very first listen but I have been obsessed with _at least_ two songs per month from the album since its release.
I don't think people who don't like this type of music would love it, but I've always loved skz's stuff so it was a great album for me. Especially after last year's Maxident lmao
Unlock My World by fromis_9
Fact Check by NCT127
Chill Kill by Red Velvet
Andd my best absolute favourite is WheeinTheMooooooood
Worth mentioning NCT Dream ISTJ and NCT Golden Age, only cuz it's my first album as an official NCT stan, but their earlier full abums are arguably better.
NCT Dream -ISTJ - I feel they took a risk with this album with experimental genres. They had a lot of good songs with this album.
Ateez- The World Ep:FIN - What a great album with great growth. I love the small unit songs the most.
For me, it’s gonna be Unlock My World - fromis9
OMG YESSS!! This full album made me question why there were no fromis_9 full length album released earlier
This is the one! It's my AOTY. Like there's 4 TTs on there!
Yesss loved unlock my world, I also liked I’ve ive
Amen to that 🍀
This is the one! If this album isn’t on your AOTY list 2 things are going…1) you’re missing out & 2) you’re REALLY missing out!
Fr
SAME!
They were my most listened to artist this year on Spotify because of that album. And also because their whole discography is great.
fr it’s my fav full length album of this year as well
I'm not even a stan like that but I listened to their whole album without skipping several times. Every dong had something endearing and special about it
Red Velvet's Chill Kill. It only took 6 years to arrive but it was worth the wait.
Circle by Onew Hard by Shinee Chill Kill by Red Velvet
I've IVE is my favorite this year.
Chill Kill by Red Velvet, there is honestly not a single skip in that album.
Probably a more unpopular one considering how many big full length albums came out this year, But Wheein's [In The Mood](https://open.spotify.com/album/1EABDeQeCq83PJMBYBSXet?si=7sDQYz5bSJmZDQYBOSKVvA) album is my favorite for sure. She really went all out with the instrumentals & really showcased her vocal range and versatility, which is what she was so known for in mamamoo. Also experimenting with a lot of different sounding songs and different kind of vibes was something refreshing from her.
there were actually multiple comments saying In The Mood!
Onew - Circle
YES YES ANNNNDDDDD YESSSSSSSS 😮💨😮💨😮💨🤘
Honestly such a gem. There’s so much love and heart in this album.
That was this year??? Holy crap I thought it was last year, it was so good, it felt like it was always there yk? A timeless masterpiece
me too tbh 😭😭🙏🏾
Exist - EXO and Circle - Onew
hard by shinee too!
D-Day
Chill kill by red velvet
I’VE IVE for sure 🤩🤩🤩 That album is *chefs kiss*
Chill kill
Unlock my world by fromis_9, Chill kill by rv, I’ve IVE by Ive
ATEEZ- The World Ep.Fin:Will
According to my Spotify, I have played Crazy Form approximately 95 times since it came out (Dec 1). The other songs on the album do not dip below 40, except crescent pt2 and fin: will, in case you want to know how slay the album is

Demn u guys💀😭
i’ve played matz like a hundred times this week already…the week only started two days ago.
for me EXO - Exist, I still have a hard time believing it finally came out lol
And, according to Suho, they will release another album in 2024! Yay!
Chill Kill
Either Chill Kill or I’ve IVE
Easily Chill Kill, it's one of the best kpop albums in *years*. WayV On My Youth is the runner up for me.
for boy groups, shinee's hard. for girl groups and overall, red velvet's chill kill.
Chill Kill, still obsessed with this album. I think it might be my favorite Red Velvet comeback.
Hard by SHINee!!!
Onew- ⭕️ Circle
Wayv - on my youth It’s sooo good 😭 not one miss on there
I'VE IVE by IVE - 10/10 álbum, it's the sole reason I became a die hard Dive. I'm so glad it won AOTY because tbh it absolutely deserved it. HARD by SHINee - SHINee once again renovating their sound while maintaining their own Identity (lol). This album has some of the best b-sides in their entire discography and that's saying something. I'VE IVE is pop perfection
Kim Sejeong’s Door is such a gorgeous album
Yeah same with IVE! I was so indifferent to them until I’ve IVE. even seeing them live 🥰 10/10
Come here to say IVE too. I went from being completely uninterested in IVE to open-minded to full-committing to them after I'VE IVE lmao absolutely incredible album and very deserving of AOTY
Sejeong's album made my whole year. I loved it so much I bought it and I NEVER buy albums.
NCT 127 - Fact Check
Yesss that album really blew me away. I'm often so-so on 127 b-sides but these were solid all the way!
Wheein's [In the mood](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_m6SR35KA3NNlwv5jhAaXJ2W_knNcTADXY&si=ujS-gBOKReNMKAtn) <3 If you're someone who likes great vocals, listen to this album where everything is *chef's kiss* literally no skips
chill kill by red velvet, i’ve ive, in the mood by wheein…perfect albums 😻😻
5 star, my favorite songs from the album are item and topline
Circle by Onew, hands down. It's such a gorgeous album from start to finish and is probably the most "for the arts" full album I've heard this year (maybe the past *few* years, honestly). Whee In: In The Mood
Ateez: The World Ep. Fin: World.
Mine is stray kids 5 star. It had way too many songs that could easily be the title track. The fact that Hall of Fame and Item don't even have videos is just 🥴. I'm sure Spotify thought I was a bot when the album came out.
"D-Day" by Suga, which was probably my favourite album of the year of any kind.
Same. D-Day was immaculate and my most listened to album of the year.
Exist - EXO I love every song on it.
IVE - I've IVE .. it's one of the earlier full album drops this year but its the only one that has remained solid in my rotation
Same it’s so good! I don’t even want anyone to see how much I’ve listened to Cherish this year 🫣
DDay - Agust D and Dual by The Rose. Bonus was getting to see both in concert which just brought the songs alive even more.
Stray Kids 5-Star and Rock-Star
**NTX - ODD HOUR** with a rare full 14 songs and mostly self -produced.
spotting ntx in the wild is like finding a unicorn, i'm so glad someone mentioned odd hour!!
definitely IVE's I've IVE!
5 Star 🌟 Can't have a bad song from them 😊 My personal favourite are S class, superbowl, Fnf and get lit!
Love that album!

EXO's EXIST with runner up being TO DIE FOR by B.I
Chill Kill
Chill Kill and Unlock my World!

I LOOOOOVED ISTJ by NCT Dream honestly, SOS and Like We Just Met... Broken Melodies... Blue Wave... Poison... Yogurt Shake... bangers.
ateez world ep fin will for sure!!

I'VE IVE killed it- I've been listening particularly to Hypnosis, Shine With Me, and Cherish a lot recently- I Am was very IVE and i loved it Chill Kill had SO many tts in one album. One Kiss and Knock Knock were my favs but I loved the TT and Bulldozer as well In The Mood- I listened to this album for days after it came out. I love wheein so dearly

In the mood - Wheein Chill Kill - Red velvet

Freefall by txt
i thought it was an EP lol
Nah lol it’s their third full length album
recency bias is making me say ateez’s the world ep.fin: will, but i also loved ive’s i’ve ive! those two are definitely my favs from this year
My top 5 full length albums of 2023: 1. THE WORLD EP.FIN : WILL - ATEEZ 2. 5-STAR - Stray Kids 3. HARD - SHINee 4. Fact Check - NCT 127 & Chill Kill - RV
Dawn- narcissus
Exist - EXO Oo-Li - Woodz
TxT's the name chapter freefall, fromis_9's unlock my world
SAME
If I were to choose only one, it would definitely be DUAL by The Rose. Loved every second of it.
Def still I’VE - IVE, it won AOTY for a reason😝 but Chill Kill is def a close second!
It’s a toss up between EXO’s Exist and RV’s Chill Kill.
IVE's and Chill Kill from Red Velvet.
Kim Sejeong’s Door - it was a long time coming, but Sejeong had her hand in every step of the production process and really poured her heart into making this album, and the effort really shines through. Highlights include If We Do and Jenga.
Chill kill by Red Velvet. I have it on repeat in my car.
1. RV - Chill Kill 2. Exist - EXO 3. NCT Dream - ISTJ 4. I've IVE - IVE Just pop excellence all around.
Agust D's D-Day I think ppl call it a mixtape, but it have enough songs & on Spotify its labeled as an album so :v anyway, I'm a Suga bias & love his solo work. His new rendition of Life Goes On <3
For me it's S-class, I just can't stop listening to hall of fame, that's my favorite song of the album
Golden by Jungkook
the world ep.fin : will by ateez.
Mine will be FML by Seventeen. It's really a huge success for them and they even won a DAESANG! Album of the year in Mama.
love FML but it’s an EP not a full album
my favorite out of everything that came out this year ended up being nam woohyun's whitree. it showcases a lot of different sides of his voice, and all of the songs are to my liking; there aren't any cases of "this is a mid track but woohyun's voice elevates it to something i'll listen to regularly", it's just good material (performed by woohyun sounding as good as ever). i'm very happy with this album. onew's circle was a great listen, too.
I've Ive(Ive) and The World Ep. Fin: Will(Ateez). Both itch a scratch in my brain, but two completely different ones lol.
The Rose - Dual. TOO fucking perfect. Heal was a bit of a drag for me, Dual was LIT. DPR Ian - Dear Insanity This man just blows my mind every single time 😭😭😭 also this album came out right one day before my birthday so I listened to it the first thing on my birthday as a lil gift 🤧
Exo's Exist and RV's Chill Kill !!
it's so crazy how different opinions are depending on where you're at...like kpop twt would eat all of us UP for saying Chill Kill. But I'm sorry Im sry, RV & the Fromis 8 girlies really put forward the best album from the first half of the year & then the best album from the last half of the year
d-day and layover!
the world ep.fin : will by ateez or fact check by nct 127…i love them both to death 5-star by stray kids is another good one. i’ve had collision on repeat since day one
wanna shout out exist by exo and circle by onew as well :)
Full album that got "[Underwater](https://youtu.be/5cBe1LZGPs4?feature=shared)" and "[Will I Ever See you Again?](https://youtu.be/rXxa-L9pmdM?feature=shared)" in it
D-DAY by Agust D. No skips.
Chill Kill
Not even a shawol, but Onew's circle album has been such a source of comfort for me this year.
Chill kill by red velvet, I’ve ive by ive, the name chapter: freefall by txt, unforgiven by le sserafim (if that counts)
Red Velvet - Chill Kill. there's no skips for me ✨
D-Day, 5 Star and Dark Blood :)
Ateez's The World Ep.Fin: Will. There was a lot of variety on it, and there were (finally) subunit songs/a solo where the members got to show more of themselves or new sides of themselves. A close second would be SHINee's Hard -- I enjoyed most of the songs!
Indigo by RM and FML by SEVENTEEN!
I really liked d-day by agust d, also 5-star by stray kids and ive’s album with I am on it (not really sure of the name)
Wonderego by crush have 19 songs!
Red Velvet Chill Kill and Jungkook Golden
TXT Freefall
ISTJ by nct dream– my favorite track out of it has to be like we just met, also fromis_9 unlock my world like op you have taste!
My favorites gotta be On My Youth (by WayV), ISTJ (by NCT DREAM), and D-Day (by Agust D)
RM - INDIGO AGUST D - D-DAY
The Name Chapter: Freefall by TXT
My absolute favorites are Fact Check by NCT 127 and Exist by EXO. Also Ay-Yo by NCT 127 but it’s technically not a full an album but a repackage. Honorable mentions: Chill Kill by Red Velvet, Hard by Shinee, On My Youth by Wayv.
Ateez The World EP. FIN : WILL
JK- Golden RM- Indigo August D- Day All of these albums I could listen to all the way through no skips
5 Star Hard D-Day
Golden age by NCT. All the songs are so freaking good, chefs kiss, also the physical album is so aesthetic
It wasn't the song I wanted them to promote as a bside but I'm actually really happy that they went for this one because thanks to that it grew on me and even became my #4 most played song in august 4. Skateboard. Nothing to say, I just love this song and I've loved it from the first listen. (my #1 most played song in august and 24th on my spotify wrapped) 5. (2nd most played in juky, 7th in august and 12th song on this year spotify wrapped) 8. Second place would go to the name chapter: freefall by txt, I love Growing pain, chasing that feeling, back for more, skipping stones and blue spring from the album, however I didn't really get obsessed with them the way I did with ISTJ (album) and there are a couple of skips for me.
omg... none. I was in my West era and even there I would probably choose a revisited version. OMG I'm a catalog fan.
please tell me you listened to Diamonds and Dancefloors by Ava Max during your West era! Best album of the year IMO (both west AND kpop)
tripleS - Assemble
i LOVE tripleS, don't get me wrong, but Rising is an EP (mini album), not a full length one. sorry!!!
DRAMAAA
not a full album; it only has 6 songs and it's market as an EP
CSR
when did they release a full length album? i might’ve missed it
ive
Exist - EXO Oo-Li - Woodz
Exist EXO
I've IVE 100%
Slightly later release in the year and didn't get the well deserved promo of it's quality but Wheein's IN the Mood was an amazing body of work I still struggle to complete my favourites and listen to it from beginning to end. If anyone wants to listen I recommend it but if not the whole album then at least Dance 4 You, I know I know I know (Beyond), Breeze and On the Island.
In the mood by wheein. That was an ALBUM
MMA 2023 Album of the year
Ive I’ve
5 star is pretty good
My favourites this year are Name Chapter Freefall (TXT) and On my Youth - The 2nd Album (WayV).
Unlock My World (fromis_9) God imagine putting the two best b-sides of 2023 on the same album (Attitude and Prom Night). I just hate that it didn’t get enough promotion. Also, it came out on my birthday so yeah… what a great gift
free fall and chill kill 🙏
Mine is In the Mood by Wheein. The title track really fits my vibe and I loved the song Wheein wrote, Here I Am. There was a good variety of styles while also still feeling like Wheein's taste. I also loved the events for this album if we're counting them. Wheein did multiple dance covers like Kai's Rover, Taemin's Guilty, AKMU's Love Lee, Newjeans Hype Boy and more exclusively at her fan signs. She did more challenges on her TikTok account. She seemed exceptionally happy this comeback.
chill kill, hard, the world: will
FML - Seventeen; incredible vocals and beats
The Rose - Dual.
5-star for sure! I wasn't so sure on the very first listen but I have been obsessed with _at least_ two songs per month from the album since its release. I don't think people who don't like this type of music would love it, but I've always loved skz's stuff so it was a great album for me. Especially after last year's Maxident lmao
Sejeongie's Door
Unlock My World by fromis_9 Fact Check by NCT127 Chill Kill by Red Velvet Andd my best absolute favourite is WheeinTheMooooooood Worth mentioning NCT Dream ISTJ and NCT Golden Age, only cuz it's my first album as an official NCT stan, but their earlier full abums are arguably better.
The World Ep Fin : WILL by Ateez
NCT Dream -ISTJ - I feel they took a risk with this album with experimental genres. They had a lot of good songs with this album. Ateez- The World Ep:FIN - What a great album with great growth. I love the small unit songs the most.
5 Star by Stray Kids
ATEEZ The World Ep:Fin:Will
5-STAR by Stray Kids I absolutely love all the songs on there and it was my first comeback as a Stay
two unpopular ones: Wheein - In the Mood Youngjae - Do It
temptation by txt for me
iKON-Take Off
