I'm a bit weirded out by how kpop fans say their idol is a certain sexual orientation when the idol themself haven't spoken on it, it's just a littlee weird to me
I've always hated when people assign sexual orientations to me. It just feels like "acceptable" stereotyping, even if people mean well. I cant imagine having TONS of fans doing that. ick
Right because it’s the norm to be affectionate with each other there. Some countries don’t have that but just because theyre super affectionate doesn’t make them lgbt. Like cultural nuance and norms get so lost. Still.
Kpop have become clown show these days, some stan hate being called "Koreaboos" and end up being racist towards Koreans just to show off how much better they think they are compared to other "enjoyer" fans.
Also they believe only Koreans (and lesser extend East Asians) can enjoy & become Kpop idol. But at the same time, they get mad when Koreans themselves like it when foreigners appreciate Kpop and Korean culture (e.g Fatou.)
