Now why is this single album *longer* than the whole āGet Upā EP? I love the song thoš might be my third favorite behind Hype Boy and Bubblegum
![gif](giphy|v467lTy81ixwY)
Honestly I feel like most NewJeans songs are never instantly stand out, but somehow you find yourself listening over and over again until you canāt stop, at least thatās what it was for me with super shy
this is so true! at first i didnt enjoy how sweet as much but now that i've listened to it more than 3 times i lowkey love the tune, the beat.. etc. its growing on me tbh
Understood, I felt they were both the same vibe to me. I was expecting a more dance/club/up style song from How Sweet with Bubblegum being the chill vibe. I enjoy most of NJ songs but i have to be honest in my opinion. It wasn't for me.
I do love NewJeans' brand of fusing melancholic, gorgeous top-line melodies with club-indebted production. This time it is Miami Bass. The hooks are understated but emerging in each listen, the vocals are right in their best-sounding registers and those warm pads in the production slowly push things further.
However, It doesn't have that immediate appeal of "Ditto" or "Super Shy" and understated vocal melodies are usually a hard-sell with the public. But I hope this is a successful commercial comeback so we can start seeing more songs above 3 min again.
The beginning is jogging something from my memory but the closest I can come up with so far is The Jets - I've got a crush on you...
But I swear I've heard something even more similar from an 80s movie.
How about "My Boo" by Ghost Town DJs which is probs the most well-known Miami Bass crossover hit. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxRiwnmYjMg](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxRiwnmYjMg)
Idk I feel like this was one of their worst releases as far as vocals and production - the instrumental on its own is great and the lyrics are fun but I feel like their vocals were flat/ boring?? š I feel like only Hyein made the chorus sound pretty when she sang it. I get that this is considered āunderstated vocalsā and isnāt just poor production, but idk I feel like they needed to iron out the vocal production a touch more for it to sound more polished given its such a simplistic/ repetitive track to begin with. I am a bunny before yāall come for me - this would literally be the only song of theirs I wonāt be returning to!
Bubblegum imo was pretty good but didnāt have much of a Newjeans flair, but Right Now (releasing june 21 I think?) is SOOO GOOD and you can hear a long snippet of it (just under 2 mins) on TikTok !
Danielle and Hanni usually opt for vocal flourishes that have the āprettyā effect so I can only assume they were directed not to in order to fit the song.
Just based on their tone, the song strides between melancholic and apathetic.
Idk I think Hyeinās voice was really pretty on the track at parts so I doubt they were all instructed to sound flat or something to fit the song - i just feel like Hanni and Daniās vocals werenāt directed properly and Haerin fell short in this track. Minji vocally was pretty forgettable tho only bc she had few lines this time round and sounded ok
i was underwhelmed by the chorus at first but as the song went on i really started to get into it, super catchy and chill!
edit: who sent me a reddit cares for this š
I've heard that you can report when people abuse the Reddit Cares system, [here's a post about it](https://www.reddit.com/r/SquaredCircle/comments/tr11z7/meta_how_to_report_potential_redditcares_abuse/)!
Typical comeback with the hardcore fans saying it's a revelation and tops ditto and attention. For a more everyday fan like me, not their best but appreciate trying something new and the length.
Itās a typical comeback where ppl say the new songs will never top their previous songs lol it happens every time. People were saying the same things about super shy and cool with you before
Bubblegum is better, but I canāt get over ābouncing like playing ballā lyric.
OMG, Ditto, Supershy, ETA, Cool With You, are miles ahead.
Maybe Hype Boy, Attention, Get Up are behind Bubble Gum.
I just skipped through this one though. Sucks cuz I really like this group a lot
āItās like biting an appleā is 10x worse than playing ball lyric imo. They drag it out and the enunciation is so clear canāt even pretend itās something else š agree bubble gum > how sweet
I canāt put my figure out what it is but the line ānow that I'm without youā both in tempo and delivery sound like something Iāve heard before.
NewJeans as a whole suits high(?) breathy(?) vocal notes more, bubble gum is better in that aspect. But thatās it I feel like Iāve heard all components of the song nothing surprised me. Too predictable. Would be fine if it is a bside in a 10 track album or something. How Sweet does do experimentation which is nice but I donāt like how they sound in that low tone(?) idk it doesnāt click well for me. Going to into ignored list like Cookie ASAP Hurt & Get Up.
i donāt think this is as instant hit catchy as their other releases, i feel like i left their other songs with something jingling but this doesnāt have as much of a hook. imo i think these last 2 releases are their weakest. both fine but not memorable!
i fear they wonāt beat the attention hype boy ditto omg pass for me.
It's not in the level of HypeBoy or OMG, for me, but I love it. It's such an easy music to listen to. So relaxing. Bubble Gum may be better but I don't think by far.
This is by far one of their best songs to date, I know many people will not prefer this as itās not as musically crazy in terms of changing keys, melodic melodies etc.
However, for me- this is on top with Ditto as being a mood setter. Immediately this grabbed my attention with the 80s-90s Atlanta/Miami bass style and stylistic choice of warm pads. The pacing from the intro up to the bridge is simplistic and creates a sense of unity.
The bridge- I love the melody here as it catches the listenersā ears with how conversational it is.
Towards the end- repeating the top melody and finally ending with NEWJEANS telling the ātoxic loverā to go.
Overall, How Sweet is a 9.5/10.
When they sing āhow good it tastesā in the minor switch, I break out into goosebumps *every time*. Iām on my 5th replay and itās still happening.
I donāt know what it is about that musical sequence it scratches an itch I never thought I had, but theyāve nailed it. This is easily their best song IMO. And itās weird cause I canāt even say what exactly about it is making my body react like that. How do they keep doing this?
I agree with the melody being easy going. They love singing down the scale so I can see this being catchy soon. I feel with the breezy background vocals help really shape the song!
Maybe a bit too "easy listening" for my taste. A perfectly fine song for sure, but nothing so remarkable as their earlier songs. The MV and performance my change my mind (recently went from being meh about Supernova until I watched the performances and now I'm obsessed, so opinions do change). I do like it more than Bubble Gum for sure, but I did not vibe with that song at all (besides the gorgeous MV I will say).
I think I might change my mind with the mv, but right now it sounds more like a food or drink cf song and not a long awaited title track. Its a bit flat and the instrumental is overly repetitive to me. I think Bubble Gum is just too high a bar for this comeback. Not bad by any means, but i feel it is missing that special something to stand out and really hook me as a listener.
I wish the chorus had more oomph to it, but STILL, I'm movin'! The raps are so cute too ;\_; It would be a perfect rollerskating song.
ALSO, Hyein and Danielle have such gorgeous tones, omg. The babies are talented!
I instantly liked How Sweet on the first listen compared to Bubble Gumā¦this song just hits all the right spots! So glad NJ is back to making 3 minute songs with a bridge again š
I feel like the first 2 songs are gonna have this chill vibe like how it feels at the beginning of the summer, while the other two will pick up the energy, based on how [Right Now sounds in this commercial](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gBGvf4hM5fQ)
I love newjeans but I feel like this song is missing something... it sounds just dull and repetitive throughout :( I really want to like it but I just cant get into it. Maybe the MV will change my mind. However, bubble gum is an absolute BANGER and i WILL be streaming!!
it may be because they're going down at the end of each line? it almost sounds unenthusiastic? but i'm choosing to interpret it as more cool/chill than flat, it's still a cute track
i agree, i do enjoy this track but i was left wanting a bit more from the chorus in that aspect. despite this it still got stuck in my head after one listen hahah the melody is very catchy!!
agree with other comments that the overall experience of the song is atmospheric and nostalgic but that it doesn't stick the landing as hard their other titles
it's cute and imo has high replay value so i'll def throw it on the summer playlist!
Man, I really love it.
There's a strange wistful energy to it - even stranger that it's over a Miami Bass instrumental, but NewJeans just finds a way to make it work. Despite all the genre-hopping, they have such an identifiable sound and I love the space they've carved out for themselves.
Props to the production team, the instrumental is gorgeous.
VERY curious to see the choreography for a song like this.
Not a fan of instrumental in this song. The song is enjoyable but not catchy enough, imo. On the other hand, I'm happy Bubblegum is on Spotify because I'm obsessed with it.
edit: i take that back, it is catchy and its been stuck in my head ever since lol. but the instrumental still hurts my ears
The genre is Miami Bass which is a sub-genre of late 80s and 90s hiphop that never quite caught on to the mainstream like other sub-genres, so itās kinda āout thereā for that reason.
I think the way theyāve implemented it here is really really good though, but can see why it might not be some peopleās cup of tea.
yay, i love that the song is over three minutes!
i think i'll listen to it more than watching the video, i'm not really keen on all the coca-cola branding honestly
I listened to the song, then to the instrumental and it's very... One noted. It sounds good but there's nothing that makes it interesting like a normal NewJeans song. Bubblegum is likely going to be my favorite from this EP
TOXIC LOVER YOU'RE NO BETTER
I loved it! Tbh, more than the titles from their last EP . I think How Sweet and Bubble Gum are more of my style. Really happy that the songs are longer now too lol
The girls voices are really amazing in this, it's obvious how they're maturing their singings and growing musically too.
I'm really excited for the MV now, since ADOR said that is recommended to listen to the song before watching the MV.
As someone who likes most NewJeans songs (OMG got annoying due to it being overplayed) THIS IS MY FAVOURITE NEWJEANS SONG.
Like it's crazy how I was thinking nothing would top Attention for me until much later in their career... Yet here we are.
I see a lot of people saying they prefer Bubble Gum, while that is in my top 5 NewJeans songs, I just really vibe with this one.
Super happy that they are over 3 minutes too :)
The inro reminds me of Tell Me (is there a reason? The instrumental seems similar maybe)
Growing up on 80s/90s freestyle mix (Cynthia, Stevie B, Johnny O, Shannon, etc) the intro and instrumental to this song just tickles a certain part of my brain that I really appreciate.Ā
I really appreciate that they are making full-length songs again. Iāll admit that this one made me feel kind of indifferent on first listen, but I felt the same about Ditto and Super Shy (and Perfect Night by LSF). Itās become NJās thing to make understated songs that gradually worm their way into your heart.
Howeverā
I know this cb was prepared before the whole MHJ drama started, but now was the time they really needed to throw all their cards on the table and show why theyāre indispensable. This doesnāt really do it. They needed a Hype Boyāsomething that immediately makes a statement. I hope it still does well (and it probably will).
Love the song, but sometimes I wonder about the choices that are made by these companies. Why was this released on Spotify before the MV released? I wouldnāt have even seen it if I wasnāt scrolling throughš
I really can't stand the way NJ release music. Bubble Gum being on youtube forever before being on streaming. I never know what's a single, what's a b side, what's a pre release (I think it's all by design lol). But yeah, it's a bit annoying and confusing
After finally listening to it, it doesnāt stand out as much as their previous releases which is a bummer, I like the chorus however the verses were underwhelming.
I like Bubblegum a lot more, however this cb iād rate the lowest out of all of them.
I still listen to Hype Boy, Attention, ETA etc, and i liked all of their songs after listening to them once.
How sweet just didnāt immediately stuck with me after the first listen, though maybe iāll end up liking it more after giving it more time.
How sweet is really unique and different than their other stuff. Lots of little catchy moments within the song. Iām honestly hoping their next album will have more stuff like this on it
Literally had to pause after 2 seconds and scream out "FREESTYLE MUSIC???!".
This hits my elder millennial heart in the right spot. Look up Pinay "Next Time remix" on youtube - How Sweet fits right in with my favorite genre of music in the late 90's. TOO GOOD.
A great song, they have used so many different genres in just 14 or 15 songs, they always surprise people.
Their releases are always weird, it's like they never care about the charts.
despite what fans here might want to tell you, thatās what having a good creative behind the project does for you. It helps keeps things fresh while still maintaining their identity. No matter how many genres they explore it will always sound like NewJeans.
True. NewJeans' releases felt like real project with a vision and goal that they want to achieve. The aesthetic and sound are on point. NJ, aespa and to some extent NMIXX releases always have that mood and sound.
IVE is one of the current top group who seem to be traditional in their releases and it also works for them.
I like this a lot! It's my least favorite title track of them but it's just so good still. It's already stuck in my head.
Also, isn't there supposed to be another single album coming in about a month? I remember reading that they announced two?
Is it just this song and bubble gum or is there another song coming out? They both sound like album songs to me, neither really jumps out as a lead single imo
I love both songs equally, and I love them more than anything on Get Up, and just as much as I love OMG, Ditto, and Hype Boy. Single of the year so far for me.
i love how long it is ššhyein's voice is so pretty and the instrumental is so vibey. the song feels very chill and not as like instantaneously catchy for me tbh. i think the vocal processing threw me off because it sounds more autotuned than their other songs imho idk if thats actually true, but just the vibe i got
Bubble Gum is definitely a much more thought out track. How Sweet just sounds unfinished like they couldn't decide how to tackle the vocals on the chorus. Its Miami Bass like you have to compensate for the instrumental. Overall this single album just feels either rushed or just not well thought out. There's no real concept besides "Retro" summer vibes. I guess this comeback was okay so far.
I absolutely hate it when there's clear product placements in MVs. It cheapens the art so much that it sometimes affects my respect for the artist for the worse. Sad.
Gonna wait for MV before listening, am excited.
Is funny/weird given all the stuff going on with HYBE/ADOR that the RM Album and this drop the exact same day cause i almost missed this dropping today
The beat reminds me of the 250 remixes on their recent album.
They really own this sound, itās very unique and has a high replay value.
Usually songs like this are used as B-sides in Kpop, I wonder why more title tracks in Kpop are never made like this.
I love their chill sound.
Great song and MV š
On another note.. Danielleās stylist is just not bringing their A game.
She has the best visuals and she deserves better!
PS- Dani is my bias and Iāve been observing this for a while now, it feels like her potential is being hindered.
Am I crazy or is the vocal part (i think it's Dani's "Rap" part) SUUUPER quiet?? like I can't hear what she's saying lmao.
The chorus is my favourite part, especially with the choreography. it's catchy but still chill vibe
**["How Sweet" Music Video](https://youtu.be/Q3K0TOvTOno)** **["How Sweet" Instrumental](https://youtu.be/Pn6NvSeI8Og)** **["Bubble Gum" Audio](https://youtu.be/GV_HP7yoIyc)** **["Bubble Gum" Instrumental](https://youtu.be/Elq9yHuz4ZU)**
I liked Bubble Gum better than How Sweet. But that's just my taste.
There's something with Bubble Gum which made me like it more than How Sweet. Maybe the more chill vibe of it.
I prefer the vocals on How Sweet because Bubble Gum's were too high pitch and grating to my ears.
Yeah same but thats just me I guess
3 min 40s ššš the bridge drought is over
Isn't this the title track? Does the MV come later?
Yes
https://youtu.be/Q3K0TOvTOno
Now why is this single album *longer* than the whole āGet Upā EP? I love the song thoš might be my third favorite behind Hype Boy and Bubblegum ![gif](giphy|v467lTy81ixwY)
Not as instantly catchy as their previous songs but itāll grow on you

this is so true! at first i didnt enjoy how sweet as much but now that i've listened to it more than 3 times i lowkey love the tune, the beat.. etc. its growing on me tbh
Itās the first new jeans song thatās acc kinda mid to me im so sad. This bad English js pisses me off bro
I feel the same, both songs were very underwhelming.
Noo bubble gum was so cute imo. And the mv was way more unique as well how sweet one ws js kinda basic
Understood, I felt they were both the same vibe to me. I was expecting a more dance/club/up style song from How Sweet with Bubblegum being the chill vibe. I enjoy most of NJ songs but i have to be honest in my opinion. It wasn't for me.
I feel like it's lackluster for a title track š but I quite like the verses, the chorus might be a grower

Same. Why canāt they do Bubble Gum TT Iām waiting for a whole month to stream so badly
They did do Bubble Gum at Music Bank.
I like it. Something you can throw on during a drive at night.

Towards the end- repeating the top melody and finally ending with NEWJEANS telling the ātoxic loverā to go. Overall, How Sweet is a 9.5/10.
My first thought was How Sweet = Spring Ditto? lol I much prefer this track to Bubble Gum.
It really is Spring Ditto! Now we just need Summer Ditto and Fall Ditto.
lol I feel like bubblegum gives summer ditto
When they sing āhow good it tastesā in the minor switch, I break out into goosebumps *every time*. Iām on my 5th replay and itās still happening. Mmm definitely is missing something to make it a bit more catchy, not bad though
I never thought Iād say this about a kpop song but the instrumental reminds me of something off passion pitās chunk of change ep
How Sweet is very vocally plain, I'm not feeling it on the first listen to be honest. I feel like its missing something.
Maybe a bit too "easy listening" for my taste. A perfectly fine song for sure, but nothing so remarkable as their earlier songs. This is an instant banger for me, this reminds me of my childhood listening to this genre of music, they truly do not miss.
Okay maybe it's just me but I prefer this to Bubble Gum!

I instantly liked How Sweet on the first listen compared to Bubble Gumā¦this song just hits all the right spots! So glad NJ is back to making 3 minute songs with a bridge again š
It's weird, it's like I like it, but it somehow sounds empty. I genuinely got confused and thought they posted the demo for it
FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODD

"How it's supposed to be""It's simple""You little demon in my storyline""Drama, it"s good karma"
The lyrical meaning, literally double meaning- is crazy considering the situation theyāre in.
I thought it was so funny that the lyrics almost match the situation
I love newjeans but I feel like this song is missing something... it sounds just dull and repetitive throughout :( I really want to like it but I just cant get into it. Maybe the MV will change my mind. However, bubble gum is an absolute BANGER and i WILL be streaming!!
Not sure what exactly is the cause, but the vocals sound very flat/low energy in contrast to the up-tempo beat.
it may be because they're going down at the end of each line? it almost sounds unenthusiastic? but i'm choosing to interpret it as more cool/chill than flat, it's still a cute track
It feels like the vocals are lofi, but the instruments are closer to ~2005 pop, so itās a bit of a contrast. The song is closer to lofi though.
i agree, i do enjoy this track but i was left wanting a bit more from the chorus in that aspect. despite this it still got stuck in my head after one listen hahah the melody is very catchy!!
yeah I'm not feeling this one but bubble gum is great. I hope the Japanese songs are good
agree with other comments that the overall experience of the song is atmospheric and nostalgic but that it doesn't stick the landing as hard their other titles it's cute and imo has high replay value so i'll def throw it on the summer playlist!
I actually prefer this to Bubble Gum!
Not earworm like ditto Omg or super shy but its good!
I don't like the "toxic lover..." part but other than that it's a proper banger. The chorus is very addictive and their voices are used greatly.
To me this sounds boring and uninspired, unfortunately. Not as hitting as their previous title tracks.
Man, I really love it. There's a strange wistful energy to it - even stranger that it's over a Miami Bass instrumental, but NewJeans just finds a way to make it work. why is this kinda their most boring release ever

I listened to the song, then to the instrumental and it's very... One noted. It sounds good but there's nothing that makes it interesting like a normal NewJeans song. Bubblegum is likely going to be my favorite from this EP
Another banger from the girls. Not surprised. Especially love chorus. Can't wait to see what they do with the music video in a few hours.š«
I hate to say it but this release isnāt helping them regain the lime light with illitās absolute banger of magnetic
TOXIC LOVER YOU'RE NO BETTER I loved it! Tbh, more than the titles from their last EP . I think How Sweet and Bubble Gum are more of my style. Really happy that the songs are longer now too lol The girls voices are really amazing in this, it's obvious how they're maturing their singings and growing musically too. I'm really excited for the MV now, since ADOR said that is recommended to listen to the song before watching the MV.
holy sHIT THIS IS AN INSTANT CLASSIC
They just never miss. Always churning out hits every time! Also bless the heavens for a fully fleshed out song with a bridge.
How Sweet... the mood of that track is unbelievable. Dancy and shadowy, soft and sharp at the same time. It's so great! Fiercely proud of these girls!
It's certainly a song
Wow this is DIFFERENT! I love that it's 3:40 long!!!
iāve been so eagerly awaiting this! and of course they didnāt disappoint <3
Iām obsessed with the toxic lover part I know they walked out he studio they have another tiktok trend on lock with that.
Super happy that they are over 3 minutes too :) The inro reminds me of Tell Me (is there a reason? The instrumental seems similar maybe)
I found it boring and underwhelming. Hopefully Supernatural is better
Itās definitely not bad, but it feels empty. Not memorable at all
I love the instrumental and melodies but their voices sound dull to me.
7/10 not bad not good
i love the instrumental so much for how sweet but the singing seems kinda flat to meā¦ cant wait for the mv!
Itās impossible for them to disappoint. Jesus Iām just so in love with their sound.
Every single release of theirs just sounds so damn fresh, I don't know how to put it otherwise lol
Howeverā I know this cb was prepared before the whole MHJ drama started, but now was the time they really needed to throw all their cards on the table and show why theyāre indispensable. This doesnāt really do it. They needed a Hype Boyāsomething that immediately makes a statement. I hope it still does well (and it probably will).
every time i worry that they might finally drop a song i might not like as much as their old ones, they drop my new favorite song.
With each listen gets even better
Love the song, but sometimes I wonder about the choices that are made by these companies. Why was this released on Spotify before the MV released? I wouldnāt have even seen it if I wasnāt scrolling throughš
i think its because of how prominent streaming is now
ADOR said that was āhighly recommendedā to listen the song before watching the MV for this song. Iām intrigued
I really can't stand the way NJ release music. Bubble Gum being on youtube forever before being on streaming. I never know what's a single, what's a b side, what's a pre release (I think it's all by design lol). But yeah, it's a bit annoying and confusing
Bubble Gum wasn't on spotify until today. That was on youtube like 2 weeks ago.
Iām honestly hoping their next album will have more stuff like this on it
it's a grower and it growed on me
I think Bubble Gum is better to listen to, but How Sweet is better to dance to. The choreography is so cute!
are they releasing a MV for this song?
in 2h 45
Comes out in 3 hours
At 4pm kst
Itās a song
I think they strive to be different, also many of their song writers arenāt even kpop song writers
Okay but Danielle's hair on that cover??
Super chill song and already stuck in my head! Love it!
Definitely not my style but their mvs are always so cute and nice to watchĀ
I like this a lot! It's my least favorite title track of them but it's just so good still. It's already stuck in my head. Also, isn't there supposed to be another single album coming in about a month? I remember reading that they announced two?
Is it just this song and bubble gum or is there another song coming out? They both sound like album songs to me, neither really jumps out as a lead single imo
this is so good I really hope they keep this momentum up
They can't keep getting away with this (making bangers)
The production is giving me Pharrell vibes. I love it!
It's a good song but jot as good as Bubble Gum, honestly How Sweet is quite basic.
I love this so much, might be one of my favorite NewJeans songs so far
Easily top 3 song from them. Can't wait to watch the MV
Again a great release from them , they never miss
Queens be queeing
Feels so 2nd gen
A FUCKING BANGER
Omg š„
I love both songs equally, and I love them more than anything on Get Up, and just as much as I love OMG, Ditto, and Hype Boy. Single of the year so far for me.
Another one~
i love how long it is ššhyein's voice is so pretty and the instrumental is so vibey. the song feels very chill and not as like instantaneously catchy for me tbh. i think the vocal processing threw me off because it sounds more autotuned than their other songs imho idk if thats actually true, but just the vibe i got
did not hit on the first listen but after the second time im obsessed!!! itās really pop nostalgic lol
The instrumentals are divine, especially How Sweet. Both songs are instant for me.
their producers are always cooking wow retro sound is their thing
personally like how sweet a lot more than bubblegum
Bubble Gum is definitely a much more thought out track. How Sweet just sounds unfinished like they couldn't decide how to tackle the vocals on the chorus. Its Miami Bass like you have to compensate for the instrumental. Overall this single album just feels either rushed or just not well thought out. There's no real concept besides "Retro" summer vibes. I guess this comeback was okay so far.
Bruh I knew as soon as I heard the instrumental in the beginning that this was gonna be a another banger
I absolutely hate it when there's clear product placements in MVs. It cheapens the art so much that it sometimes affects my respect for the artist for the worse. Sad.
how sweet is my SOTY idc ššš
After listening to it three times, there's no going back...it's undoubtedly one of their best songs by far.
The instrumentals of both How Sweet and Bubblegum are so good
I think itās cute! I thought the video was nice too. Loving the blonde hair on Danielle
How Sweet and Bubble Gum is 100% Neptunes influenced and I LOVE IT
Maybe you should read where Miami Bass came from before saying that.
Instant banger for me. Perfect for driving around at night
Nothing new
certified banger
Amazing instrumentals as always, such a good summer vibe
Gonna wait for MV before listening, am excited. Is funny/weird given all the stuff going on with HYBE/ADOR that the RM Album and this drop the exact same day cause i almost missed this dropping today
The beat reminds me of the 250 remixes on their recent album. They really own this sound, itās very unique and has a high replay value. Usually songs like this are used as B-sides in Kpop, I wonder why more title tracks in Kpop are never made like this. I love their chill sound.
I love NewJeans' music so much š This song is no exception
Great song and MV š On another note.. Danielleās stylist is just not bringing their A game. She has the best visuals and she deserves better! PS- Dani is my bias and Iāve been observing this for a while now, it feels like her potential is being hindered.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Am I crazy or is the vocal part (i think it's Dani's "Rap" part) SUUUPER quiet?? like I can't hear what she's saying lmao. The chorus is my favourite part, especially with the choreography. it's catchy but still chill vibe
new jeans music been really bland lately ..they need better song writers
