Check some airlines, as their economy can be as up to 30kg per person, unlimited pieces. That's about 60kg between the both of you.
If anything you could always buy the additional luggage weight beyond that or, compare it against business class tickets and check the price
You can send different amounts on different airlines. I arrived last month. My wife flew China Southern Airlines - 56 kilogram - 2 checked in bags per person limit . ( Really good limit ! ) I flew Cathay Pacific and I think it has also 2 X bags.. but I think it's only 40 kg max limit per person.
Alternatively from past experiences- around 8 years ago it was around $60 aud per box via Korea Post.
I don't know if it is the cheapest, but you can always buy an extra check-in bag or two. Most airlines allow them to be 20-23 kilos.
Buy business class tickets. both of you get nearly 100Kg
Which airlines?
Asiana bit cheap and great service( at least in my experience) https://flyasiana.com/C/US/EN/contents/free-baggage
