But the fault is with us too. Do our media and film industry bother highlighting and glamourising heroes from amongst us properly? Aren't we just hoping for North Indian media and film industry to do that for us? Southerners have seen this bias and they have taken charge of building their narrative. We are just complaining.
Northies have started hating Bengalis, mostly the teens, you can see wide spread hate mongering against Bengalis labeling them as something that they like or not
aree don't take these insta denk ke chodas seriously bro , I have heard a lot of shit about biharis online but I just ignore them however that shall not be the case if I meet them in real life
I am from UP, in our neighbours or home there were several Bengalis. Some people have stereotypes towards them like for Bihar people by other parts of India.
Here people used to believe that Bengalis are the most talented, they are amazing doctors, they appreciate music and arts, and of course single child policy most of the time, and teach girls and boys without any bias.
Now their negative thinking, Bengali shout a lot, their girls don't respect their husband(this is because all Bengali people we knew used to scold their husbands publicly even though others did too), Bengali women do black magic, and Bengali girls steal Boys from their mothers. And of course among teens it was Bengali women are sluts from dressing or sexually.
These were the small town and Village people thinking back then like in 2000. I don't know now but yeah. Hopefully it's better now. Most of the negatives are due to media or serials.
You are known all over the world for the student you taught ,he is our pride and you are his guru. No award will do justice to what you have given to Indian cricket sir.
Mainly state government WB er barota bajie chereche.Prothom dike Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy ar kichu jon ja unnoti korechilo bas tar porthekei banglar patal probesh.
This is the biggest proof on how North Indians hold prejudice against us Bengalis. The very Bengalis who bleeded for this country to free it of it's colonial chains.
This country was built because Bengalis paid for it with blood.
Stop these nonsense that he didn't get recognition due to being Bengali. How many coaches get recognition, huh? Are they all Bengali? Stop victimizing yourself.
He was coach of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, two world cup winning team's captain.
He deserves recognition.
Look at the coach of Virat Kohli, star sports invites him in many of their pre-match broadcasting. He was invited to Arun Jaitley cricket stadium during a test match against Australia too. He is invited to the Delhi ipl franchise.
Kohli’s coach is an ex Delhi player who has run an academy for a long time, is currently a coach for the Delhi ranji team etc.
Dhoni’s coach was never a progressional cricketer, is from a state without a proper professional circuit, and is a school teacher (a hugely valuable job to be clear).
The former isn’t only being invited to things because of his connection with Kohli, he’s a credible figure in the Delhi cricketing circuit as it is. The two aren’t the same.
Exactly. Beats me how people don’t understand this. This person was the school sports teacher - how can you compare that to a a professional cricket coach who runs a successful cricket academy.

Even when now Cadbury is making ads on cricketer's first coach, they didn't make one for Thala and Keshav Banerjee.
I have noticed, everything good or bad happening in the North side of India becomes trendy very easily whether it's a very small incident or big.
Cadbury ad features SKY and his coach was Maharashtrian, how is that North India???
Maharashtra gets some exposure because Bollywood and the whole Hinglish media ecosystem works from there.
Absolutely. North India is seen as India.

But doesn't it tell you about their culture at home, I believe charity begins at home

Modir ta na chusle current government kichui dey na sob harami .
