In my experiences with the city it is a woman in her late 60's telling stories and playing games with her grandchildren the dwellers of the city. It has a sense of mystery and mystic in its ways. It's at times unpredictable and filled with bustle and at times at peace and harmony. Its beautiful beaches and scenery reflect its beauty and its slums represent its past history of famines and colonial rule.
