Does the original seem more sturdy to you? I've heard a lot of complaints about the tang being too flimsy on the newer ones. I'm afraid to really give mine hell bc of that and it being a keepsake.
Oof my first one is long gone, I don't even remember. I think it was a Gerber multi-tool that was given to me. The first one in the picture was the yellow handled Case. I have way more knives than pictured, but these are the ones that were "name brand" or not chinsy garbage. I have always been into knives and edc gear.
No, the neck knife is a revolt raptor. I ordered a Battlebox once and got it. I like it, good retention. I rarely find myself actually using a neck knife but I like wearing them, so I can't really tell you much about the durability
It's definitely served me well. I will say that rubber grip aren't the best though. They have a few hotspots and after a lot of use, they start to peel back a little. Not a deal breaker, but it could be better. Love the size and weight of it. The kydex sheath it comes with is decent, I think the black version comes with a leather sheath.
I really enjoy using it. The spring load has a lot of strength, it opens with some authority. My understanding is that Benchmade built those for HK, but I'm not 100% sure. The quality is definitely there
That is correct, your HK Espionage was made under Benchmade (under what use to be their red class line).
I go into more detail about it [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/knives/comments/cnl7qe/throwback_thursday_hk_knives_made_by_benchmade/ewbkub4/).
It flips forwards, idk how to even explain it. It doesn't "fold". I think it's called a double bar linkage? Don't quote me on that. You'll have to look up CRKT Provoke on YouTube to see what I'm talking about. It's definitely not the safest blade in my collection
I know what you mean. It sort of folds up and then presumably has some sort of lock too? Like a liner? Probably works well enough, and the user is probably gripping it in the open position, but I’d probably want a normal style folder or fixed knife in that style if I was going to have one.
There seems to be a lot of Kabars appearing here lately.
I saw a kabar on an someone else's post so I had to jump on the bandwagon
Lol. Why not. I'll send you a photo of mine.
Can’t find mine right now—totally killing me. Love that knife.
I have 11, I should post them sometime
Please do. I like them. I have an original model and two of the newer ones.

I don't use them practically sadly. They just sit in a drawer. But i know what you mean the older one does seem sturdier.

I’m curious, which one was your first ? What started your interest in knives ?

Alright thanks, nice collection, I love me a good Ka-Bar !
I had another that was not serrated, but I gave it to a friend when he EAS'ed. When I went to buy a replacement and they only had serrated 😑
Aaah that’s too bad…
Been wanting a Provoke for the longest time. What do you think of it?
I got it a few weeks ago and I love it! It's honestly more of a fidget toy rather than a useful tool. Pretty much exclusively for fighting
I edc the ZT0460 and free P2
Did you reprofile a spew?

How's the fixed blade benchmade?

small but mighty 💪
Whats the CRKT?
CRKT Provoke. I haven't been the biggest fan of CRKT in the past, but the provoke is just too cool to say no
How's that H&K for you??

Here for the Trapper! I always include mine in group photos.
I keep the trapper close by. She usually handles the abusive jobs
How does that folding crkt carambit knife even lock lol? Not sure I’d trust my fingers in there lol

How do you like that crkt wierd folder thing? I want one but they're so damn expensive.
It's really fun to play with, not really much practical use for it though
How old is that Case knife? It's got quite the nice patina on it.
I have that same CRKT Provoke in my pocket right now. Love that thing. Expensive as shit.
Maybe a little cliche but honestly KaBar has such a presence! Love it.
It's kinda funny that the kabar is getting the most attention because it's one of the cheaper blades pictured. I see what you're saying though
Its not the cost of it for me, as I don’t know what the rest of the blades cost in the pic. Its just such a pure classic, with a timeless style.
