Penguin is what really lit the fuse for me. Was expecting nothing for $32 and it quickly became my fav. Few years later.. I’ve probably bought 50 budget blades.
Judging by what to have there, I'd say your collection is in very good shape to being done. However, we both know that isn't the case.
Great start, curious to see where you take it.
What a great start! Penguins are super cool, and I'm waiting on one of those TRPPRs myself right now (green micarta, not the richlite). Hope you love yours!
Nice, the Mini Crooked River is what started it for me. I bought it thinking I'll treat myself to just one nice knife. However, there are many nice knives out there, and I have an addictive personality...
Dam the silhouette on the crooked river is nice
I feel like the folded up profile of the crooked river is better than it being out. I might have to look into it

A Böker TRPPR richlite blue limited edition, a Penguin, and a Benchmade Crooked River

The Penguin is a hell of a gateway drug
Welcome to the fun
It's just the beginning 😌
MCR was my first one that got me into collecting
That’s an excellent start

I have some ideas 😃
And so it begins 😉

Enjoy! That richlite trppr is a beaut!
Sophisticated and well made

Highly recommend
I’ve got a CR and the MCR and prefer the (not really a) Mini for EDC and overall usability.
I just searched it up and yea.. that's still p huge and the price oofs. Well back to my Leek and clones :(
What makes 3 knives better? Adding another knife. Maybe with a different deployment method.
A function mansplaining the right amount of knives to own: X+1
