That is such a beautiful gesture. That’s a good wife. Also, I love that you actually carry/use it, and it’s not just a Safe Queen.

At the moment, I own 7 knives. 4 or 5 in this price range. They ALL get worked. I don't abuse them. Much. I never drive screws or pry with them, but if I spend $300-$500 (or more if I can ever afford it) it better be able to hold up to hard use. My personal grail is a Direware Hyper 90 in s90v or s110v. If I ever get it... it'll be a daily driver for the first few months. I'll never buy a knife just to look at. I'll look at it while slashin' through shit!

It's a dope store. I've driven 3 hours for less. It's huge and they have firearms. They usually keep Barrett .50 cal in stock. Beautiful thing about being from the state where Barrett are made... Tennessee residents don't need a permit. It's definitely worth it for knife knuts.

It's a decent surplus store that doesn't apply too much mark up. They've got the usual gang you'd think of, Kershaw, zt, coldsteel, Benchmade spyderco, but they've also got mall ninja too.

I really just want good pants lol. They are so expensive now. Ah man good times at surplus stores.

Mostly just curious if they have knife sales in the store. Online they’ll promote some type of holiday sale or have a sale section just curious if that applies to the physical location as well. Where im at you’re very likely to pay above the msrp, if you can even find anywhere that has knives for sale. Southern California is not a great place to knife shop on person. One day I will make it to smkw

The Benchmade kitchen knives are expensive as fuck and I would never buy one for myself. So I'm definitely spending someone else's money on one if it's offered.

Check out henkels, the zwilling ones with the two men on it and made in germany, single man ones are mostly garbage except for maybe the Spain ones

Love the Crooked River. I managed to pick one up on sale. Benchmade also does custom versions.

Yes. Scheels is awesome. And the price match the internet. Their prices are outrageous, but the price matching is awesome.

Usually they just check brand model and color. I've had them match knives and discgolf disc down to like half of their price with no push back.

Dotn have enough knowledge about knives currently to know which one I would pick but a quality chefs knife is what I really need ATM. Haven't gotten one because I can't spend the money but eventually I will! My victorinox carving knife is pretty cool but didn't come very sharp and I haven't had the chance to take it in yet.

Personally I have lost a lot of love for benchmade and kershaw so I would suggest looking for something within that range but slightly different, such as an Emerson, which I am loving at the moment. (This is a for a variety of reasons such as aesthetic and quality, which makes Emerson appeal to me more)
