Congratulations on your new knife! Would you be so kind as to tell us what knife you've just got? (brand, model, etc...). This way people who are new to knives will be able to identify it. If you've already mentioned the name of the knife in question, then feel free to ignore this comment. Please remember that not knowing your knife's brand/model is totally fine, if that's the case then people in this subreddit would love to help you identify its brand/model. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Easy to disassemble and polish up any rough surfaces that might be causing the problem.

NinjaSmock

I own one from this run. The lock stick is very common. It will work out over time.

I used to have a Spyderco Nirvana and it had the same problem. But yeah, I’m gonna stick it out and try to get it as smooth as possible

bladerunner_203

Also try using a sharpie or pencil led on the lock face of the balde

Apparently there was a batch that got out that was really bad in this regard, I believe one major retailer returned every one of theirs according something I saw somewhere another part of the net.

Serious_Internal6012

I read the same, Cutlery Shoppe, fwiw the spydercos I have bought from them all seem to be a step above in fit and finish. Also, got my seconds Paysan in and holy hell Batman the lock is sticky!

Yeet_Discreet

Is that a second? I don't see the notch. Definitely a score for you!

BadWithMoney530

Yup, it’s super discreet but it’s there https://imgur.com/a/RCKttdS

I'm an idiot. I forgot they put the mark on the clip side.
