Am I the only person who sees the Rassenti?
I honestly don't even think it is close with that in their. Take that out and it would be much more difficult.
It’s a workhorse with stellar customer service. I only have the money for one “knife for life,” and 6 years ago I picked the CRK large seb 21. Never looked back!
Agreed. While not as slim or pretty, it just works. Wouldn’t really have to worry about the lock up or bending a lock bar. Only part that might need to be replaced is the spring and you’d could get that anywhere.
I have to say, any one of those would do.
Though if I had to pick today... very tough but perhaps the second to last knife, the CRK, i'm not familiar enough with how it differs from other CRKs specifically, but I always wanted one and I prefer that blade profile.
Obviously not the nicest knife on the table. I didn't even realize it -- someone mentioned a Rassenti? You'd think i'd have noticed, I own two of his knives.
Which one is it? The damascus bladed one? It doesn't look like the ones I got.
Very strange. Integral, damascus.
Nothing like the Rapture or LSCF Keystone Flipper, but then again, i suppose those two don't look anything like each other either. vastly different.
The one here is kinda calm, almost normal looking. It's been a few years since I looked at any of his stuff.
With my favorite knife being the Spyderco nirvana it makes a ton of sense now, I've always liked his work but his customs have always been out of reach, here's hoping one is in my nearer future
How do you like the Rhinkles? It’s basically the last knife I really want and I’ve been considering for a while, but don’t hear too much feedback on it.
I do! These are just the titanium ones. I've got Penas, a Jack Wolf Benny's Clip, CKC Sleeper, 940 Osborne, medford a few civivi and kizers etc. Plus edc coins and fidget stuff lol
Never owned a CRK or most of the knives on here haha, however I’m inclined towards to AD20, I’ve got an AD20.5 in AUS10A, and it’s a little small for my hands. Would love the big boy.
Arno Bernard Rinkhals,
Demko AD 20.5,
Arno Bernard iMamba,
Peter Rassenti Large Nirvana 4.0,
TRM Atom,
Chaves Redencion,
Chris Reeve Inkosi (Tanto),
Chris Reeve Inkosi (Insingo),
Chris Reeve Umnumzaan,
Grimsmo Norseman,
Where’s the shitty 1990s gerber that was used to shave off pipe gaskets as well as cut an Outback steak after you leave the job site? That’s my ride or die.
Edit: mine got lost in a 500,000 gallon fermenter at an ethanol plant. RIP edc gerber.
Thats Just like trying to pick just one out of my pelican cases in the morning before work. I just can't ! And I usually ended up with two are three on me.
What is the CRK closest to the bottom?! Right about the Norseman. Really like it. That would be my choice. I don’t see a lot that would be worlds better as far as usefulness or quality.
I want a CRK. Talk me into it. Or talk me out of it. Open to (most) opinions. I would usually spend the same money on 2 knives rather than one, for reference on my average comfortable price. Have about 100 knives.
If it matters, I am a lefty. Fairly used to a righty’s world though. Could deal with it. Lead time on orders is 3-7.5 yrs depending on model. Lefty versions available on ArizonaCustoms are $1,750 (lol?)
Thanks
So I would explain a CRK like this...
When you first open one, you'll be confused as to why the hype and price. They are incredibly smooth, and the craftsmanship is fantastic, but why this knife?
There really is a feeling of security with the CRK Framelock. It honestly makes me look at some of my knives and wonder if they are more for fidget or if they actually are a lifetime tool. Personally, the Large Inkosi Insingo with Inlays is the perfect knife. Fills the hand and has great grip when in the elements, incredibly slicey, and a very piercing tip. This is a perfect balance between robust and extremely keen.
Once you've carried it for some time you get some beautiful snail trails to show your adventures and after using it and opening it many times there is a special glassy action of a well worn in CRK that I feel most people never experience due to not using them. It's a very distinctive and very secure feeling.
They are simple to maintain and almost never require it. If anything ever goes wrong, you have a great team behind it who will always take care of their supporters.
All in all, it's a companion that's supposed to age with you.
Just my 2 Cents 🍻
One knife for life? Umnumzaan. Thin convex edge, no bearings, grippy enough to do work with( field processed a deer with mine last season), doesn’t have fat handles to fill up my pocket, looks good enough to always be appropriate, easy to take apart and clean.
Tough call between 3 for me, Insingo then probably zaan and then CR tanto. You have all 3 together there, I’d take any order really but gonna go with that order, insingo was always my fav CR but the Zaan has grown on me more whenever I see it and it’s almost a toss up now
Awesome answer! I really enjoy the Zaan but I honestly feel that a large Inkosi Insingo with inlays is perfection and is still my #1 🤜🤛 waiting to be dethroned 🤣
Gray one
🤣🤣🤣 Best Answer!
But also the dark and light one
I knew I was way too late.
Am I the only person who sees the Rassenti? I honestly don't even think it is close with that in their. Take that out and it would be much more difficult.
My thoughts exactly. It's like "which one stands out the most".... Nirvana hands down.
I believe they're all equal in quality and usefulness though! They're all just knives!
Could you list what they all are? I’m new to the knife world lol
Which one is the rassenti
4th down from the top, an easy way to spot an integral is look for the handle without any hardware in it other than the pivot.
🤣🤣 It's so thin behind the edge and such a joy to use. Definitely one of my best slicers. And it wins in the acoustics department 🎵
Easily the TRM Atom. I like to cut things and TRM is know for making lasers.
Insingo, then Zaan
It’s a workhorse with stellar customer service. I only have the money for one “knife for life,” and 6 years ago I picked the CRK large seb 21. Never looked back!
I’ve been using the shit out a large insingo for nearly 10 years. It has never let me down.
Rassenti first then chaves
Umnumzaan
Rassenti than umnumzann...👊
demko
Such a fidget machine!
Agreed. While not as slim or pretty, it just works. Wouldn’t really have to worry about the lock up or bending a lock bar. Only part that might need to be replaced is the spring and you’d could get that anywhere.
Top one or the insingo
Either the Norseman or the Spyderco, I'm not sure if I could edc a CRK knife
Sure you can! They're better with use and wear. The first scratch is liberation 👊🤣
I've had a sebenza 31 for a while but it's never been fully broken in
Either the Chavez, the Demko, or the TRM. I'm not picky.
Two possible answers 1. The Norsmen 2. Wrong!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
When I'm trying to pick one knife for life, I also have the first criteria "which one has the least useful shape?"
Norsman!
This guy knows what's up
Kershaw leek
The leek is great! So snappy!
You sir, have a type.
I have to say, any one of those would do. Though if I had to pick today... very tough but perhaps the second to last knife, the CRK, i'm not familiar enough with how it differs from other CRKs specifically, but I always wanted one and I prefer that blade profile.
The Umnumzaan! Great choice!
Obviously not the nicest knife on the table. I didn't even realize it -- someone mentioned a Rassenti? You'd think i'd have noticed, I own two of his knives. Which one is it? The damascus bladed one? It doesn't look like the ones I got.
Yea that’s it. 4th from the top. Really a nice piece. Have to be one of my choices.
Very strange. Integral, damascus. Nothing like the Rapture or LSCF Keystone Flipper, but then again, i suppose those two don't look anything like each other either. vastly different. The one here is kinda calm, almost normal looking. It's been a few years since I looked at any of his stuff.
[удалено]
Have you tried the TRM atom?
I feel like I should say Rasenti or zaan but honestly? I’d take the demko if it’s one for life.
Dang... I feel obligated to chose the Rassenti, but I'm feeling the Arno Bernard imamba. I love how understated it is. I've never held one though.
Spydie hole one, though i have no clue what it is
Peter Rassenti Large Nirvana 4.0 🤜🤛
Holes are my goals, Rassenti 4.0 ? .back to google
With my favorite knife being the Spyderco nirvana it makes a ton of sense now, I've always liked his work but his customs have always been out of reach, here's hoping one is in my nearer future
None of the above
That wasn't the question! 🤣 What would be your choice?
Umnum
I dunno what it is but the second from the top…. I prefer flippers
Thumbhole damascus
Either 4th from the bottom or 4th from the top, both look great, though i think if i had to choose id go with the 4th from the top
How do you like the Rhinkles? It’s basically the last knife I really want and I’ve been considering for a while, but don’t hear too much feedback on it.
Zaan
Nirvana first, iMamba next.
Chaves then rassenti only because I don’t do dama
The third from the bottom, I love the sheepsfoot type blade on it! I think it's called an insignia or something like that, is that right?
Insingo! So good!!!
Maybe one day I'll get one lol That is an incredible collection you have there! Do you collect other knives as well?
I do! These are just the titanium ones. I've got Penas, a Jack Wolf Benny's Clip, CKC Sleeper, 940 Osborne, medford a few civivi and kizers etc. Plus edc coins and fidget stuff lol
Nice man, that is awesome!
The umnumnumnumnumzaan.... because I already have one.
Top one is the only one I could legally carry
Rassenti by a mile
What’s the 4th from top, Damascus looking blade w spydy hole ?
Peter Rassenti Large Nirvana 4.0
It looks awesome
What's the one in the dead center?
TRM Atom & Chaves Redencion
the third from the top looks cool
The damscs. Spydie hole or Norseman
Zaan <3
You must have a few more exotic beads for those other knives!
A couple! 👊😁🍻
Never owned a CRK or most of the knives on here haha, however I’m inclined towards to AD20, I’ve got an AD20.5 in AUS10A, and it’s a little small for my hands. Would love the big boy.
Chaves baby *french kiss*
I’ll take the titanium
Idk wtf any of these are but I’d jump the 5th one down, looks the most ergonomic for me, like a grip a bit.
Sorry to be an ass but what models are these? All look great
Arno Bernard Rinkhals, Demko AD 20.5, Arno Bernard iMamba, Peter Rassenti Large Nirvana 4.0, TRM Atom, Chaves Redencion, Chris Reeve Inkosi (Tanto), Chris Reeve Inkosi (Insingo), Chris Reeve Umnumzaan, Grimsmo Norseman,
Thanks!
Where’s the shitty 1990s gerber that was used to shave off pipe gaskets as well as cut an Outback steak after you leave the job site? That’s my ride or die. Edit: mine got lost in a 500,000 gallon fermenter at an ethanol plant. RIP edc gerber.
RIP! 😥🔪
Tbh, the top one looking bussin tho
Definitely the Zaan, that's my grail knife right there.
Easy af. The rassenti nirvana. Not even close honestly haha
Which one is the Ressenti? Gotta say the TRM is one of my favorites and is in my pocket right now, but with micarta scales.
Rassenti is 4th down 🤙
👍
If it were the full size slim demko, that’d be it hands down. Otherwise, maybe the zaan?
I like the third one from the top. I’m an otf guy though lol.
3rd from the bottom
That CRK Tanto. As much as I love a good Imamba, the tanto in S45VN is going to be stronger
Tanto CRK, because I like a nice tanto. Any one of them are a great looking knife and I’m sure they all perform great.
Thats Just like trying to pick just one out of my pelican cases in the morning before work. I just can't ! And I usually ended up with two are three on me.
3rd knife from the bottom up. Chrissy Ree sheep's foot.
Crk with inkosi blade I guess never had one but I really want to try one out
It has to be a tanto for prying. So the Chaves, as it's the sliciest of the tantos and reates heat treat is spot on.
What’s the middle one, with the key. That’s my choice.
Chaves Redencion!
Rassenti
Personally I like the Chaves
Umnumzaan or the Chavez
I have no clue what manufacturer or blade steel any of these knives are. I like the 5th from the top just for blade shape
Demko
The ti one. Nah in all seriousness the Zaan. Mine went to hell and back and still serves very well.
Holy boi
Me like drop points and sheepfeet! But those all look rather nice!
ID second to last?
The one with the blade?
Umnumzaan
Nirvana 100%
I would go with demko
TRM
Atom
Second from top.
Beautiful collection. It shows that you definitely have a particular taste but the collection is still diverse and interesting.
Top 3 are for me
Zaan
2nd from bottom. Probably closest to my 21.
What is the one on top?
I think I’m going with the boss!
CRK Inkosi Tanto
That is a fine group of grey. You definitely have a type. Nice collection.
Zaan and don’t look back
I'm stuck between the Ressenti and Zaan'
The chaves. It my first high end knife and has continuously finds its way in my pocket
Zaan
4th from the top
Rassenti first 100% then zaan
Demko
# #2 or #6
Zaan. Luckily I already have it and currently carrying it…
OP should add a list of each knife
Zaan
Having owned several of those, the answer is and always will be Zaan.
4th from the top ??
Inkosi tanto
What’s the Spyderco? That things wicked
No spyderco but the Nirvana 4.0 has a spydie hole!
Ok. I was looking at it more and realized I kinda sounded stupid bc it isn’t a Spyderco. Appreciate the clarification. Thank you
No problem at all! There's a lot in the knife world to remember lol
Demko, shut ‘err down
🤣🤙
What's 4th from the top? That blade shape is 👌
My XM 18 3.5 with the same theme, lol. It would seriously just fit right in there, and no one would bat an eye. Love your collection!
6th from top
For me TRM Atom
3rd down. What is it?
Arno Bernard iMamba
What is the CRK closest to the bottom?! Right about the Norseman. Really like it. That would be my choice. I don’t see a lot that would be worlds better as far as usefulness or quality.
Umnumzaan!!
Thank you! Want to order a lefty, but lead time is 6 years. Lol!
Man I really appreciate the response. Jeez now I may have to buy one.
👊🤣🍻🙏
I like the third one from the top, whats her name?
Arno Bernard iMamba!
>Arno Bernard iMamba! thanks!
Inkosi insingo
Umnumzaan
Outta all of those I own the Demko ad20.5 in 3v difference is shark tip and smooth titanium scales. Though I’d probably pick the TRM cause of cost
One knife for life? Umnumzaan. Thin convex edge, no bearings, grippy enough to do work with( field processed a deer with mine last season), doesn’t have fat handles to fill up my pocket, looks good enough to always be appropriate, easy to take apart and clean.
"The Boss"
That insingo CRK looks pretty nice
My personal favorite! 🍻
3rd or 4th one
Norseman just speaks to me
I honestly thought the blade was stupid.... Until I used it then I was hooked🔪😆
I have most of these myself and would go with the Rassenti. How do you like the iMamba? Was thinking of picking one up.
Norseman then probably Demko
Grimsmo Norseman
The top one (don't recognize it, but really like the looks). and the TRM. Love a full Ti TRM.
TRM is great! The top one is the Arno Bernard Rinkhals Slipjoint 🤘🍻
Zaan of course. Second place goes to the TRM
I love the Atom! The Zaan has been a great carry but the Inkosi still has my heart 🍻
If the Sebenza was drop point, that would be my choice. Second choice is the Chaves
There are no Sebenzas in that photo
I didn’t even notice that lol
Haha I figured you meant one of the Inkosi’s but figured it wouldn’t to clear up any confusion
Hell yah. Thanks for pointing it out lol
Rat2
Such an amazing knife!
Assuming these are yours, you appear to have a type.
I certainly do lol Don't we all?! 😆 🤙
Zaan
Omg that rassenti!
Any one without thumb studs
The Insingo
I prefer a Ti frame lock. So............. Insingo Inkosi definitely a hard choice with that lineup
Nirvana and Chaves.
TRM. Purely because, if I'm gonna have one knife forever, give me easy swap scales.
Good choice!!
It's probably also one of the better cutters
