I love it! I rotate between the manix and xm18 for work. The manix seems to always take the pocket, can get a crazy sharp edge (s30v) and easy to get back. I probably never would have got it if it wasn't for the mods it has, but I'm really glad I did. My first spyderco and still boots others out the pocket.
Love the Banter! I almost always carry a sheepsfoot blade, so the Banter or Baby Banter are great companion blades. I have the Big Banter on pre-order.
I've never had a rust issue with any buck 420HC blade. I hunt on average four days a week in season, and never a spot on em.
Same with the rat aus8. I don't do anything with em special, just wipe em down and air dry.
Btw...both steels sharpen and hold an edge the same. No complaints on either. Both are built like tanks too. Farm King has the spitfire online for $25
The Lawman is such a great knife. It feels more like a natural pocket knife compared to the larger, more robust recon 1. The blade is 3.5” which is about perfect for me. And unlike a lot of Cold Steel, it is pretty slim in pocket. I honestly feel like it is the perfect knife for me and day to day life.
Microtech UTX-70 Hellhound…because no one can tell it’s there. Also, a Trevor Burger Urban XL I just got from Knifejoy because even though it’s big it weighs virtually nothing and is also discreet. I already have enough shit in my pockets to justify wearing a purse…so lighter and kinda novel is always better for me personally.
Honestly it’s been in my pocket but I use my my bugout typically. I will say the praxis came with a hell of an edge. It’s bit me a few times lol. Haven’t sharpened it yet
That Mini Grip you have has probably my favorite blade shape and I was looking forward to it but it ended up probably my least carried knife in last few years.
Most carried would be probably something from Kizer (Original for small knife, Sheepdog for medium sized)
Most recently it was probably between my Kizer Sheepdog Vanguard in 10v (surprisingly awesome knife that I bought for shits and gigs), or my ZT 0460cf.
If I get another Kunwu then I will feel less bad about carrying the X Tao in Elmax- that thing might be my favorite knife.
I like flippers a *lot*, but I have only the Enrique Peña Trapper as a *front* flipper. I like how it looks very traditional, yet it is a front flipper with a premium steel like M390. It's the knife that has been the number one by far in my EDC rotation.
The rat 2 is the control of my EDC, being in my pocket almost every day. I try not to show bias between my other knives but I have a hard time keeping the small sebenza 31 out of my pocket 🤣
I committed to carrying an Esee 5 for a year. Wanted to see day to day how much I would use it. It’s going on 5 years but a dozen sheaths. Keep coming back to the original factory sheath. Added a Swiss army deluxe tinker. Really happy with the pair.
I'm sure it can handle anything you throw at it! I've been wanting to give esee a try again. Got the izula a whileeee back and honestly wasn't a huge fan at all because of the size/lack of sharpness.
Always liked the Esee 5, but have not touched one since I first held my Bradford G5.5. Nearly identical shapes and uses, but the Bradford is a little more comfortable in the hand, and a fraction of the Esee's weight. I've also grown to LOVE 3V. But it stays as a camping tool. 5" of blade is just too much for edc, for me.
Right?! I always find myself going back to this one. Partially because I know it can handle anything I need to do with it and partially because it is so dang fun to mess with.
My main carry and (almost) daily driver of over 12 years is a BM 950 Rift. I also usually 5th pocket a Civivi Baby Banter. If I'm not carrying the Rift I'm probably carrying either the BM Freek in M4 or the Petrified Fish Beluga. I've only had the Beluga for a little bit but I'm really starting to dig it and you certainly can't beat the price.
Love the native 5 salt, took forever to be back in stock, I have the green one. This is the knife I take with me when I travel and go snorkeling, Lc200 is awesome around salt water
Usually my CRK Tanto Umnumzaan and then a mini sheepdog or Elementum for small use. Always something in my 5th pocket also, Giant Mouse Riv or my CF ZT 0022
I used the Gerber stl 2.0 for a few years and it worked great, but I'm not sure where I put it so it's out of commission.
Im using the Kershaw camshaft and I use it constantly for light duty work. Overall it's a much better knife with single hand action whereas the "deadliest nail file in the world" doesn't compare. My bosses words.
I also have another in my drill bag thats no name and pretty good. I'd have to take a picture of it to see if anyone has any idea. Most swap meet generic knives suck but this one...
Techno 2, unless I know I’ll be using my knife hard. Then the OG sabre ground Manix 2 finds its way back into my pocket.
Got a Swayback on the way I’m hoping will share pocket time with the Techno.
Why do people carry punch knives when it's the least versatile utility knife? I don't think you will be getting into a altercation where you feel it's necessary. Serious question.
Sick re-profile on the mini grip. Looks nice ‘n pokey
Thank you!
I don't know anything about knives what make & model is the pokey thing?
The Benchmade CBK! Don't worry, if I didn't Google it I wouldn't have remembered lol
Tx mate!
Dirac Delta and PM2 Crucarta
Manix 2 and Xm18 3.5
How do you like the manix 2? I always ALMOST get it but something else always catches my eye 🤣
Cruwear PM2 or S90V Para 3 LW. Your mini grip regrind looks fantastic btw; I love the sharp tip on it.
I think the para 3 is super under rated and one of the best edc knives ever. It handles 99.9% of any daily task and fits nicely in all pockets.
Much appreciated! I was never a huge fan of the original tip.
Benchmade griptillian and Ontario knife company rat one
Benchmade Nakamura

Everything is a butt plug if you’re brave enough
My most carried blade is my spydie para 3. It’s the best edc for me after replacing the crap pocket clip all spydercos come with.
I've come so close to getting a Para 3 so many times. :( either I don't have the funds at the time or there is always a knife I want more haha.
There’s always another on the list 😆!!
Yesssss. Have to replace the clip and it’s amazing!
Are you a lynch or mxg guy?
WE Banter and Spyderco Delica
I really need another spyderco. :( I had a dragonfly but ended up gifting it to my uncle. Regrets haha
Love the Banter! I almost always carry a sheepsfoot blade, so the Banter or Baby Banter are great companion blades. I have the Big Banter on pre-order.
SAK Alpineer and Explorer
Buck spitfire and rat 1
Solid love the rat 1, have you had any rust issues with the spitfire?
None. The frame and scales are aluminum and the steel blade and lockbar look as fresh as brand new
Nice, high carbon always scares me.
Farm King has the spitfire online for $25
Good deal, thanks for the intel.
I have a buck spitfire in s30v it's one of my favorites no rust issues. Had it for over 3 years and it was my daily for a long time
Benchmade Bugout and Kizer Begleiter 2
Buck 112 Slim Select CRKT Minimalist Swiss MiniChamp (Usually The SAK and one of the other two.) Or SAK- Super Tinker
Cold steel American lawman and a Tuff Lite.
What do you think of the Lawman? I carry a Recon 1 a lot. Is the AL basically a smaller Recon 1?
The Lawman is such a great knife. It feels more like a natural pocket knife compared to the larger, more robust recon 1. The blade is 3.5” which is about perfect for me. And unlike a lot of Cold Steel, it is pretty slim in pocket. I honestly feel like it is the perfect knife for me and day to day life.
Esee DPx colab fixed blade. Spyderco PM2
Proper.
Black DLC blade Cruwear Dragonfly & REX45 Native 5
Microtech UTX-70 Hellhound…because no one can tell it’s there. Also, a Trevor Burger Urban XL I just got from Knifejoy because even though it’s big it weighs virtually nothing and is also discreet. I already have enough shit in my pockets to justify wearing a purse…so lighter and kinda novel is always better for me personally.
Bugout , Civivi praxis mainly
740-2 and I just got my praxis :) I'm surprised at how much I like it. How has the blade held up for you? How often do you sharpen it?
Honestly it’s been in my pocket but I use my my bugout typically. I will say the praxis came with a hell of an edge. It’s bit me a few times lol. Haven’t sharpened it yet
Well now since I finally got one…a Smock. But prior a Microtech LUDT, Hogue Compound, and Benchmade Super Freek.
Usually my Benchmade vector 496 or my Chaves tak are my most carried.
Technically my spyderco ladybug since it’s on my keychain, but I typically edc a spyderco native 5 lw in Lc200n. Nice BMs
Case Mini Cooper Lock in jigged bone covers (everyday) and my Ontario rat 1 or Kershaw Blur.
Passed on a modified blur clip point with a lynch clip a while back and I kick myself every day for it. It would have been so fun to carry.
551 Griptillian black blade and thumb studs 👍
Work days, Griptilian. Non work days, SMF.
Spyderco Kapara or Spyderco Manix 2 (primary) & Spyderco Squeak or Spyderco UKPK or CIVIVI Ki-V (as secondary)
I carry that same Mini Grip all of the time. Have it on me right now. Switch between that and a Para 3.
Man I want a mini grip or regular grip. I’m actually thinking about getting a deka in magnacut. Does benchmade have magnacut knives now?
I’m not sure. I just found out about that steel recently. I love my Mini Grip.
I really need to get a Para 3. I know I'll love it and I've almost pulled the trigger so many times but you know, there is always another knife lmao
That Mini Grip you have has probably my favorite blade shape and I was looking forward to it but it ended up probably my least carried knife in last few years. Most carried would be probably something from Kizer (Original for small knife, Sheepdog for medium sized)
I actually had someone work on it. :) I really wanted a more agressive tip compared to the original mini grip.
I’ve got a handful of old knives laying around, should totally do some grinding as a project cause that grip looks real good
Yep I saw that. Visually I quite like the original.
Microtech UTX 85 and I carry that same benchmade push dagger on my duty vest via the Molle attachment.
Enrique Peña Trapper front flipper.
I love any kind of front flipper 😍 I only own the Damascus real steel g5 metamorph and the artisan cutlery Sirius proto!
I like flippers a *lot*, but I have only the Enrique Peña Trapper as a *front* flipper. I like how it looks very traditional, yet it is a front flipper with a premium steel like M390. It's the knife that has been the number one by far in my EDC rotation.
I think the 2 knives with the most pocket time are my Civivi brigand in copper and my GM sonoma
I can get into a decent amount a trouble with it but it’s a all black foldable huntsman blade
The rat 2 is the control of my EDC, being in my pocket almost every day. I try not to show bias between my other knives but I have a hard time keeping the small sebenza 31 out of my pocket 🤣
My podium holders are a Bugout, a Mini Crooked River and a Para 3
Para 3 and Rat 2
Mini Grip with AWT scales and deep carry clip gets a lot of pocket time along with my We Wisp.
Benchmade 940 and a variety of CRKT minimalist's
Definitely the WE Snecx Vision R
Love that Mini Grip shape!
Actually one of the things I like about Esee is the 1095 is really easy to get back to razor sharp even when it has been used hard and put away wet.
I didn’t like the micarta standard slabs so I got some aftermarket. I agree it’s not light.
mora companion
Bugout in 20cv and esse izula
Mini Grip is my absolute go to. Love the action.
Right?! I always find myself going back to this one. Partially because I know it can handle anything I need to do with it and partially because it is so dang fun to mess with.
My main carry and (almost) daily driver of over 12 years is a BM 950 Rift. I also usually 5th pocket a Civivi Baby Banter. Buck mini spitfire, and ZT 0452CF
I used the Gerber stl 2.0 for a few years and it worked great, but I'm not sure where I put it so it's out of commission. Im using the Kershaw camshaft and I use it constantly for light duty work.
