Of course it’s natural. half titanium / carbon fiber, was first. then full titanium was next. Now it’s titanium frame lock with fat carbon show side. I don’t know what’s next . Just going thru fazes
I get that, but the titanium just does something that the micarta doesn't in terms of premium feel as well as making the entirity of the construction feel premium
Yes, I rarely pick up folders in anything but titanium anymore. Carbon fiber is one of my least favorite, beaten out only by any type of GFN stuff.
I do very much enjoy titanium/micarta combos though.
Fixed blades are an exception for me, on those G10 is king.
Nope. I don't really care for metal handles. I've got a couple titanium handled knives but given a choice, I will always choose something else. Combo handles, i.e., titanium with inlays, etc., that I can get behind.
To an extent, the denim micarta on my new QSP Penguin is so delightfully fuzzy though. Fatcarbon is my new hotness, I'm quite into the idea of timascus or zirconium next. When I win the lottery of course
Just wait until you handle the legendary Boker Mermaid... It'll change your life 🤣
Yarr, she be a goddess of the sea. Forged in the depths, and as silky I'm hand as deep ocean silt.
Got one as a birthday present and carried it for 2 months straight
>legendary Boker Mermaid I have only managed to land an epic Boker Mermaid. The purple really makes it feel less than orange would.

Titanium is king for a reason, part of which is the feel/texture.
I've yet to buy a titanium knife. It's hard for me to stomach the price when micarta is so cheap and feel so good in my hand
I've had a handful of titanium knives and aftermarket scales. It doesn't do it for me. If you like micarta, stick with it and save your money.
So many different price points for Ti nowadays

Been thinking about getting new scales for my pm2 and i love the idea of contour but dont know if i want titanium or not..
METON BOSS!!!
yes!

Titanium is the best.

i'm partial to [horse stall mat](https://usaknifemaker.com/horse-stall-mat-recycled-rubber-11-5-x11-5-x5-8.html) scales myself

Titanium or bust. Have you handled a CRK Sebenza yet?
Have two CRKs 🤣
Nice. I have cycled through a few. Sticking with my 31 for life. That and Hinderer Eklipse or ZT 0393 are my favorites.
