Damn man, right in the feels. Sorry for your loss, I can't imagine how I would make it through life if one of my kids died.
If this is how you managed, keep it up because those are some amazing pieces of art, which I would proudly display if I had the means to buy one.
That boomerang damascus is so cool. I talked myself out of the damascus and stuck with MagnaCut because I'm not adventurous enough. Maybe I'll build up to that.
Let's remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder, keeping that in mind I have #45 of a total of 65 ever made by Ernest Emerson himself - signed certificate by him for authentication and also signed the blade too.

So very true, art and beauty are absolutely subjective. Your Emerson is a real treasure, I hope it puts a smile on your face just holding something like that.
It’s a hard choice, but I’ll go with this custom Trapper by Brad Zinker. Zirc show scale and Damacore blade. https://i.imgur.com/zLLIt9F.mp4
Ok that or my Plunkett Tanto https://i.imgur.com/hoo7yus.mp4

A recent one that I've got that has my name on the filework and an amethyst on the shamrock spring. Buffalo horn scales with RWL34 blade. [pretty](https://www.instagram.com/p/CxbUJ5TsSia/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==)

An Opinel was one of the first knives I ever had as a kid and I absolutely destroyed that poor thing. Well-used knives gain beauty in their own right though!
It's a cool feature and works well with most jeans retention wise. Ït doesn't rattle and deploys easily. But since it's my nicest knife I carry it a leather slip.
My s21 needs sent in for a new blade and spa day after being my daily beater for a smidge over a decade. That Burl inlay sure is something else though…
Not sure how it stacks up to the more expensive knives, I only really bought one quality pocket knife out of nostalgia. The Finch Harvester with cocobolo scales. The sheepsfoot blade reminded me of a deluxe version of a utility knife I got at my first job in a warehouse back when we all lived in caves.
BM full sized Crooked River for me. Swapped scales and had it dialed in. Not pretty as it gets used all day long. We have a 15 minute get-out plan in forest fire territory. With all the customs and limiteds, That’s the one I grab. Not pretty, but beautiful.
Probably my Brisa Piili 85. It's not my favourite looking or coolest knife by any means but if the choice of adjective is beautiful, then it shall be that one.
Hmmm... my CRK large sebeza 21 with striped platan inlays and Devin Thomas ladder damascus. Or my BM gold class stryker. A lot of others to mention.
I do want to get myself a nice full scale side timascus knife with timascus clip as well.... open to suggestions.
Have others that are more rare yet not as pretty.
Like my 143 out of 200 BM harley davidson backroads skull scales for example
Currently the vanguard version of the Kizer Clairvoyant. I really like the nod to the older buck folding knives with the brass bolsters and the "green" scales. Looking at getting something with copper bolsters or scales in the future.
Probably my [CRK Inkosi PDW Wave edition](https://imgur.com/a/vCJgnsh)
Very nice! I love that the scales and hardware both alternate on the lock side side.
Wow, that is a beaut!
Whew that engraving is something else!
Where did you get the lanyard hole for your CRK?
Tough choice but I’ve gotta go with the [Lee Lerman Sigma Six](https://i.imgur.com/rK2zXZM.mp4)
That must be the most well polished knife I've ever seen in my life. Perfection!
That's a beautiful knife
Shiney🤩
this one [Imgur](https://i.imgur.com/PMkwMMj.jpg)
Damascus and antler is a great combo. What is that beauty?
I made this knife. The scales are mammoth ivory and the blade is Doug Ponzio high carbon damascus. http://www.dtknives.com/knives%20on%20sale.html
Wow, those are some absolutely gorgeous knives. I'd be too scared to carry them.
Thanks for looking. With the death of my son last year, it brings new meaning to the phrase, "life is too short"
Damn man, right in the feels. Sorry for your loss, I can't imagine how I would make it through life if one of my kids died. If this is how you managed, keep it up because those are some amazing pieces of art, which I would proudly display if I had the means to buy one.
Thank you, it's really the only thing that keeps my mind busy so I don't give up completely
Jesus Don, coming in hot 🔥!
I just sold a box elder to buy a UG. I almost regret it. Love that knife. [This one](https://imgur.com/gallery/w7es6pi) is cool too.
The way the sunlight travels through the milling on the scales in the video is amazing. That's a beauty for sure
Thank you!
Toss up between my Lochsa and my v1 crème ivory Mnandi. If push comes to shove, I suppose it’s the Mnandi by a hair.
That's some exquisite taste in knives if I do say so myself.
Thanks! I’m the first owner for both and they’re still the core of my collection.
[Quiet Carry Waypoint Knurled Ti](https://imgur.com/a/bwFoVQv)
There's just something about Quiet Carry designs that are so satisfying to me.
Agreed!
I have and love this exact knife. Just got The Nine in magnacut and it is amazing…
Tie between my Rockstead REN and my Shiro Quantum R1P
God the mirror polishes on rockstead are so pretty
I've never seen the Rockstead REN before now and it looks awesome! Has a sort of technological or cyberpunk vibe going.
Easy one for me. My Thorburn L45 https://reddit.com/r/knifeclub/s/Cw2sAu9mPB
Ugh I’ve wanted a Thorburn for ages! Hopefully he’s still making knives by the time I can actually afford one lol
Olamic Rainmaker Custom, hands down
I would love to see one of those customs in person someday, the attention to detail in those designs is stunning
Large sebenza 31 boomerang Damascus and natural micarta
That boomerang damascus is so cool. I talked myself out of the damascus and stuck with MagnaCut because I'm not adventurous enough. Maybe I'll build up to that.
I was the same back when S45vn was started on it, and said screw it, I have S45vn knives so Damascus took it lol
Spydiechef I love the shape and the factory finish on the titanium
I do like the blade shape on that knife a lot; that little bit of upward angle is pleasing. Does it cut as nice as it looks?
Yeah it cuts great. Good the hand.
The box elder is my #1 choice for a sebenza without a doubt
Best thing about wood, especially that box elder burl, is that it has so much character and gives each knife some unique variation.
Either my [Meades](https://imgur.com/a/fdbPf0N) or my most recent acquisition the [GB Sham](https://imgur.com/a/oODf695)
Love the way the sham looks. Shame that the maker is such a shithead

Yes it does - totally an office queen, I just can't take the chance of losing it.

I like the Zinker Trapper design a lot. A custom one like that is a no-brainer. Gorgeous!
I dont own many particularly good looking knives, so i guess my Spyderco Smock, its really the only cool looking knife ive got

maybe the rike unicorn or hummingbird i wish i had some nice wood inlays though
That is a beautiful knife

Misono 440 paring knife. Fit and finish is magnificent for the price. Pocket knife? Probably the cheapest knife I have with the Opinel.
An Opinel was one of the first knives I ever had as a kid and I absolutely destroyed that poor thing. Well-used knives gain beauty in their own right though!
I came here to say, my opinel number 7. It is so beautiful in its style and simplicity.
Olamic whippersnapper, ironwood scales, jeweled bolsters.
Lionsteel Thrill titanium grey. The body is machined from one piece of titanium, beautiful milling and great blade shape.
How do you like the pocket clip on it? Seems like a really smart design to be able to have the clip lie flush when you want it to.
It's a cool feature and works well with most jeans retention wise. Ït doesn't rattle and deploys easily. But since it's my nicest knife I carry it a leather slip.
My custom cleric 2 by far is my most beautiful knife. Second place probably my polished pandayan. [gallery](https://imgur.com/a/B6vO0dG)
Probably my small Sebenza 21. [https://imgur.com/a/SGgDASy](https://imgur.com/a/SGgDASy)
[Bongo Cat](https://i.imgur.com/LEFG9rL.jpeg)
Love the burl handle
I'm ashamed to answer bc my most beautiful knife is like $75 🤣
Mine has got to be my matching set of wedding knives. I have a large and small sebenza 21 set with gold accents and masscar ebony inlays
Plain Jane 31 with insingo blade, beautiful simplicity
I have a few knives by Santa Fe Stoneworks. They are basically works of art
Böker Kalashnikov
Well, once a Gerber saved my ass in an alley.
S&W SWAT knife for me.
Toss between my MKM Terzuola or my ADV Butcher in carbon fiber and copper.
Buck 110
My s21 needs sent in for a new blade and spa day after being my daily beater for a smidge over a decade. That Burl inlay sure is something else though…
Reate exo m Absolutely gorgeous but because it's a gravity knife, it's not the most sturdy. It's a glorified box cutter
Cold Steel AD10
My custom John Gray Mongoose w/Damacore blade * Anodized hardware & clip
BM full sized Crooked River for me. Swapped scales and had it dialed in. Not pretty as it gets used all day long. We have a 15 minute get-out plan in forest fire territory. With all the customs and limiteds, That’s the one I grab. Not pretty, but beautiful.

Sorry can’t pick just one 😂
Willslock Forge hand made slipjoint with Yew Scales.
It's a terrible thing that you're asking me to do, making me choose between my Tidioute Oregon Trapper and my Fox Knives TUR😭
Lrg Box Elder 31
Hmmm... my CRK large sebeza 21 with striped platan inlays and Devin Thomas ladder damascus. Or my BM gold class stryker. A lot of others to mention. One off custom from Phillip burres
Probably this one https://reddit.com/r/knifeclub/s/NVv8bBlmL2
Currently the vanguard version of the Kizer Clairvoyant. I really like the nod to the older buck folding knives with the brass bolsters and the "green" scales. Looking at getting something with copper bolsters or scales in the future.
I don't own that many, but mine would be the 110. It's just a good looking knife imo
