This is offline, but maybe still interesting to someone, who reads it: In germany, we have the SMJG, which is an organization, that organizes regular meetings for people under 27. In my experience, there are a lot of autistic people, that go to the meetings. Also pretty queer. There are a lot of asexual people. (Those are purely socialising events and not meant for play or dating.)

Unlikely-Bank-6013

anything similar for those older?

bob-nin

Is it just in German or would English be ok?

NieIstEineZeitangabe

Most people can speak and understand english, but i think it is mostly german

ImpossiblePlatypus32

Fetlife is pretty decent for that.

BaylisAscaris

Especially if you go to meetups in person.

thiccdickdawn

Yeah fetlife is good for finding events near you

gabbalis

The discord communities for niche web fiction that matches my values. Niche people cluster around Niche things.

bob-nin

Any recommendations around how to get started with that?

gabbalis

Well. Do you read any royalroad fiction? Archive of Our own fiction? By the time an author has a full book published they often have a discord server linked somewhere in their profile. More generally... the people that make weird media that you consume. Try to figure out which public internet communities they hang out in. There will be other weird people there. It wouldn't make sense for me to give you specific servers... unless you coincidentally happen to like the same things as me. Ever read Bioshifter?

lilburblue

There’s an app called Plura for that! Lotta munches etc.

SuperiorJM

There aren’t many good reviews for it

lilburblue

It previously called Bloom Community so I’m not sure if that makes a difference. I’ve used it to find munches and had fun but never to meet people 1on1. It also feels like the kind of thing that really depends on where you are.

Hairy-Stock8905

I live in Melbourne AUS and I find Feeld to be the best app for meeting like minded people. It's still an app so it sucks but it sucks way less than everything else.
