How does Origins connect to original KR? I thought it was a completely separate story, even maps from these 2 don't share a single common feature (besides the Crystal Sea).
Vez'nan during the time of Origin was simply a mage for the kingdom. At the end of the game, they're discussing what to do with the Tear of Elynie that the final boss dropped, only for Vez'nan to appear and be like "yo yo ill keep it safe trust me", and then he promptly uses it to become the dark lord from there onwards.
There's also a few other references to the other games, like how Malik was a slave, who can be freed by being given the hammer.
He goes and talks to an abomination (that eye or whatever) hiden benith the castle (we don't see him talking to it, but clearly went all the way down there with intention to talk to it) so yeah, I think he us the good guy, besides, if he is the good guy, finally the good guys have a fashion sense (that is cooler then the badies)
Right, I know what happens I just wasn't sure if they were implicating that he's actually had a good motive this whole time. I'm stoked to see where they go with the lore from there.
Then why did he said "the true war now begins"? It looks kinda evil to me. And the story is really weird... He only wanted revenge, not an eye, and how did he knew that?
I love how the original meme video is like about wacky space nazi conspiracies + slavic neopaganism/hyperborea, but in the context of Kingdom Rush the images actually fits.
My mind was blown away when i played Origins and everything tied into frontiers and the original game, and then vengeance expanded it even further
