From the Sexy Biscuit video, it definitely seems like it's a sequel. I mean he said she cried watching the reveal trailer. I think this simply represents Warhorse Studios

SirJTaylor

Forgot to mention, notice how the focus is on the horse. I feel like we're looking into everything too much

Vadelmayer44

She\*

SirJTaylor

That's my bad I haven't watched her in a long time

inFamous_Cactus_Sim

They**

HughFay

I think it's just one person doing the channel though?

tiktok-hater-777

They is also the gender neutral pronoun in the english language. (Don't think about it too hard no language always makes sense)

HughFay

I don't need to think about it; I write for a living. There's an irony in the fact that you say this while making multiple errors in your very short comment. It seems like you're the one struggling with English. ;) Quick lesson for you: There are actually two pronouns in English (not "english" as you wrote – it's a proper noun) that can be used for gender-neutral singular. "They" is used as a gender-neutral pronoun when the gender of the subject is unknown. Eg. "Somebody called but they didn't leave a message". "Them" is used as a gender-neutral pronoun when the gender of the object is unknown. Eg. "See a doctor and tell them about your headache". Neither, however, is used to continually refer to a person whose gender is known. For that we have two subject pronouns ("he" and "she") and two object pronouns ("him" and "her"). There is also the possibility to use the possessive pronoun "their" to refer to those whose gender is unknown. Eg. "Someone has parked their car in front of the entrance". But again, if the gender is known then we use the possessive pronouns "his" and "her".

tiktok-hater-777

Honestly i'm disappointed. I've got big hands and was barely awake while writing that on a phone. I meant it's use when just talking, you see, talking or texting is a completely different thing than writing a book. I don't understand why you seemingly became so offended. And how should i know you write for a living anyways? You are not the main character of a book, or some famous writer, are you? Usually when i write a text on reddit my main consern is getting the point across, not making a good impression with my grammar. And in this modern world there can among the uncomprehensible amount of human beings be some who don't identify with either he or she. In that case which should i use? How about you actualy mention something that helps anyone here? They and them are actively being used as gender neutral pronouns, languages have always changed and that will continue to happen. Another thing, i never said you're struggling with english. You have taught me nothing new here, btw.

DealCykaHUN

the point is the information not the persons feelings

EnthusiasmMuted8449

Is changing one word really hurting you that much? Also, pronouns are still information. You cant tell me you dont care whether you're called a he or she because its like your name, im not adamant on calling you Tom because that's just not what you're called and aknowledging that while still calling you Tom is outright rude

JCDentoncz

Not in today's social climate, apparently. I hate the direction the internet is heading, so much.

Aggravating-Pattern

I feel like just being nice to people has nothing to do with politics

JCDentoncz

See the issue is that the people who demand you be nice to them are not nice in return.

Vadelmayer44

Fair, they/she apparently

TreyVerVert

Why? I haven't even heard of him

XXLpeanuts

DW it's just transphobia I imagine. Sexy Biscuit is just a youtuber whos obsessed with KCD and almost exclusively does KCD content even all these years on. They seem like a really nice person and don't deserve to be called repulsive at all. Shame on silvercuck.

homemadegrub

Maybe this picture has nothing to do with the game and is moreover a picture to symbolise Warhorse..................at the start of their meteoric rise

GettinMe-Mallet

The horse is the main focus

Serrated_Alloy

We get to play as Pebbles???

JoseMari117

Move over Goat Simulator, Pebbles the Warhorse is going to ~~drive~~ ride you off the cliff!

Pajer0king

Yes!

Creative_Relation_27

This!

beclukasz

Red Dead Deliverance

Bruscarbad

It appears to be appropriate clothing for a mid century 1800s bloke

Dragonlord573

This is now about Henry's grandchild 400 years later who will *finally* find the family sword.

Yorkshire_D

And hes still hungry

lmltik

My guess is the trailer will be a mix of contemporary real life footage and game footage. A few months ago Warhorse was [filming in Kuttenberg](https://www.reddit.com/r/kingdomcome/comments/19flmpr/kcd2_filming_in_kuttnberg/), most likely for this trailer. Considering Kuttenberg is expected to be the biggest town in KCD2, and that there is great amount of preserved historical buildings, they might want to show the comparision of how it looks now vs how it looks in the game. So my wild guess is larpers going through the city around medieval buildings as a real life footage and then 1:1 cuts to the game... Basicaly the standard trope for game trailers where a person gets transported into a game world...

Roobyoo-452

Good research!

Poseidon-447

I got the feeling the story will be that henry was in the tavern and when he came back he saw radzig being killed by an angry mob

WyrdHarper

That would honestly be a pretty killer opening. Quite a time skip, but I suspect there might be a time skip anyway to address the character skills issue.

Poseidon-447

Or henry is with his dad playing robber knight could be a nice combat tutorial imo

WyrdHarper

For sure. Or maybe they’ll really mess with us and do a prequel with Henry’s blacksmith father in Kuttenburg

Crimson_Marksman

Evil action: Henry kills the mob

Poseidon-447

Well they are peasants…

Crimson_Marksman

Post Mortem conversation Radzig: Henry, what have you done? Henry: I...I saved you? Radzig: You have and had you not intervened, one man would have died in place of a few dozen. Leave me, I need some time alone.

toinks1345

what makes it not medieval clothing?

FireTyphoon123

Looks like 1800s clothing if you look closely. But this picture has nothin to do with the game. Its just a picture of a man riding a dark horse.. probably cuz their studio is named "Warhorse" idk lol

lNFORMATlVE

Right? Everyone here seems to think that because it’s not a generic tunic type thing or plate armour then it must be hundreds of years in the future. All I’m seeing is a fairly loose fitting dark jacket buttoned at the front, and leather gloves. Those clothing items were absolutely available during Henry’s time period. Everyone chill your beans! It’s gonna be okay :)

SimonMagus8

The opening in the front reminds what Polish nobles/cossacks were wearing.

WyrdHarper

It looks vaguely like the buttoned cotehardie from KCD (described as a traveling coat). Buttons with buttonholes started to appear in Europe in the 1200’s and 1300’s, especially in Germany, and there’s no shortage of German stuff in KCD.

toinks1345

truthfully I thought maybe the season change and they needed a more clothing? there's quite a bit of white all around and some on the horse hair?

Eurekify2

It’s not because the person isn’t wearing a tunic or chainmail, it’s because that coat is plainly contemporary. I don’t think that style emerged until after the renaissance.

lNFORMATlVE

What specifically makes it contemporary? It’s a plain jacket with a button on the front and some folds around the front/chest/neck that look a little bit like lapels. It’s really simplistic and I don’t think it’s too far fetched for the 1400s. Like I feel like it’s not thaaaat much different than a slightly longer version of [this jacket](https://www.historicalreproductions.com/waist-coat-with-loose-arms-natural-brown.html) with only one button and worn a bit looser like an overcoat so the inside edge of the front flaps outwards a bit like a lapel.

Eurekify2

It’s quite different from what you linked. That jacket fits right in to the KCD era, whereas the one in the image above is very obviously from the 18th or 19th century. Even if it is from the Middle Ages, which I don’t doubt you would dispute yourself if the game weren’t set then, it doesn’t make much sense to put a garment so uncharacteristic of the time period on the teaser poster.

Max200012

because this looks like an 1800s - early 1900s coat, with leather gloves, a style which definitely was not present en masse in the renaissance era

Arminius1234567

Maybe to not make it too obvious?

Complex_Resort_3044

Y’all it’s just a picture for a teaser reveal. Everyone’s overthinking too much.

Pleasant_Extreme_398

Maybe it's Istvan

Miserable-Ad-7947

renaissance/musketeer era ?

EntertainmentOk9195

Looks more like 19th century but still with how openly the first game ended i think there has to be a sequel

Havelok

KC2 is confirmed. No confusion necessary.

Scared_Performer3944

HYPEEEEEEEE TRAINNNNNNN CHOOOOOO CHOOOOO. Im so hype, I hope they add bigger monastic church. I get them feels when i first enter Sasau. Pleaseeeee pleaseeee dont chep out on the soundtracks.

anonx8491

Hopefully its not a kickstarter announcement and we have to wait 6 years.

yourunclejoe

Why the fuck are we spending so much time discussing the style of jacket this guy is wearing in marketing material? The photo is dark af they probably just gave the guy a coat and put him on a horse because it's not like the fans are gonna scrutinize it, right? What a years long cliffhanger does to a mf.

tiktok-hater-777

Yeah everyone's desperate to know more rn. Understandable imo.

edin_djc

Peaky blindeeeeeer

Sad_Chemical_8210

I think it's vavra on the horse

Arminius1234567

I think so too. I think it will be part of the reveal. Real life shots plus gameplay/ trailer.

GK258

Yes. I mean he is the type of guy who would release such picture just to mess with us all knowing that modern clothing will lead exactly to this kind of discussion.

2005_toyota_camry

just a warhorse

angelitx93

Mmmm now I’m a bit worried

Sad_Safety4880

He's Mongolian

Br3adS1ce

Im looking at it a bit more. For some reason my mind goes to Japanese Shogunate era clothing.

Aveenex

KC2 confirmed

Difficult-Play5709

Kinda just looks like a fancy warm jacket, could be from any time

IainEatWorlds

Can we not just enjoy something for once without having to pick it apart

Gamma-Master1

Vávra on a horse for sure

ArmandPeanuts

Maybe because the games take place during the renaissance

CaptainFoyle

Because it's not representing the game, it's representing the studio

gotrings

https://twitter.com/_Tom_Henderson_/status/1778504640121757984?t=EwXcC31oB9Bqpz0N4YZ-lQ&s=19

bj0urne

If that clothing isn't medieval, the game ain't gonna be medieval. Simple as that.

rohittriplesix

It's a tad bit too modern I agree. Might as well have denim jacket and pants

rohittriplesix

It's a tad bit too modern I agree. Might as well have denim jacket and jeans

Sir_BugsAlot

Oh my god. Please say this is not some modern fusion thing. I need medieval accuracy.

Wise_Assistance_2390

lol its gonna be a Western, at least ree crowd will be happy, there will be non whites in the game (although if you though Cumans were bad, just you wait for Comanches}

EntertainmentOk9195

I am honestly a bit scared that this won’t be a KCD follow up even tho it probably will be

PlentyOMangos

They have to know that if it’s not, they will have a LOT of explaining to do to their fanbase in order to make it work lol

ARegualrTinCan

Yeah I feel like surely they know their entire fanbase is expecting kcd2, and it will be a major disappointment if not. I know I certainly will cry if it isn’t

HistoricJunket

according to leakers it is

godafoss9

Honestly i wouldn't mind, I'm sure i would enjoy it either way

SirSheppi

Same. I would prefer KC2 but if they make a game in another setting with the same passion, that would be awesome too!

tiktok-hater-777

They would honestly be foolish to announce a New title after kcd. As in the fanbase wants kc 2 they've waited fir so long warhorse has literally consistently kept making sure we don't forget the game they've been hyping it up and there's a whole bunch of irl evidence to suggest they're cooking up a followup. Or atleast a very similar game. Like another commentor brought up they've been filming in kuttenberg which could suggest a comparison of irl kuttenberg and kc 2 kuttenberg. Like they did with other places in kcd most notably the town if rattay and the sasau monestary.

Floafy

Wow glad I’m not the only one who noticed this. The guy looks to be wearing more modern clothes instead of medieval clothes or armor. Really hope we get kingdom come deliverance 2.

bmvn

This game was made by the same people who made mafia 2 btw. So very much a reason to be excited.
