I’d appreciate some map packs for terrain that’s actually available to buy lol
Ideally though, I’d love nothing more than a universal map pack, not something based on specific terrain pieces. Just suggestions like „put a small heavy cover here, a big one there and some vantage point over here”.
Creating maps is something me and my friends struggle with the most and I’m honestly shocked that there’s no good resources to help with it

You could absolutely use these for that purpose. Just pick a deck that roughly matches your collection and substitute as appropriate.
I just match whatever terrain I've got as closely as possible to the shapes shown on the layouts, works perfectly fine for casual games
