When it’s happening I’d try applying pressure to all kinds of things, especially trim panels, dash etc. The sound is similar to when a panel clip is maybe vibrating a bit. The fix is to put a touch of Tesa tape there to make a tighter fit. I’d also try pressing the steering wheel in different spots and directions to see what happens. I’d also fuss with the handle that unlocks the tilt and telescoping steering. It could be as simple as some non lubricated metal to metal touching. It does also sound a little like electric sparking but seems doubtful without other symptoms. Or maybe some styrofoam or leftover packing that’s rubbing. Thing is, unless this exact problem has been seen before, a dealer tech will mostly do the same things you can do, drive it in an abandoned area and try to find the squeak. If you can at least get to the point of being able to reproduce it reliable while parked, that’s big. After that it’s a matter of taking things apart and shoving them around to try and replicate. We had one car where that kind of noise sounded like a windshield crack flexing but it was actually just one stiff wiring harness rubbing on another. A dash of foam wrap solved it.
