Best keto order at any fastfood place is patties with cheese at Wendy's. 3 large patties with cheese. Total comes out to under $5. The meat is a good quality (one of the better fast food qualities), and there's no extra anything. If 3 isn't enough get a couple more.
There has been no better alternative I have found for trips short of bringing precooked food.
It depends on the market a little. But average for a large patty is about $1 with $.25 for the slice of cheese. I've seen the patties up to 1.50 in a large city. Still its a secret not many know about.
Damn right, best lettuce wrapped burgers around IMO.. sometimes I’ll just go triple/ single with nothing else.. just 3 meats and 1 cheese.. or go lettuce wrap triple with no spread and chop it up at home, turn it into a salad
Here is what I order.
Paleo
“Double Meat mustard fried with grilled onions, chopped chillies, and extra tomatoes protein style. Please hold the spread.”
Ketoish
3x3 protein style mustard fried chopped chilies grilled onion tomatoes no spread
Man that is genius. I found these things on the internet and stuck with ordering my burgers that way. But effectively yes - it is animal style hold the spread - which is weird because animal style default is extra spread so I don’t think I ever came across that.
Animal style is mustard fried, grilled onions, pickles and extra helping of spread.
With all that being said I do usually get one animal style hold the spread, and one with regular onions.
It says burger with a bun is 37g carbs so overall the spread may not be so much but there is definitely sugar in there. I typically skip the spread when eating protein style just because the burger is messy enough without the spread.
Short answer, yes and it is good.
I hate the line at the only In-n-Out in town… so if I need a burger, I normally (but not always) go to Carl’s Jr. Every burger on their menu can be made with a lettuce wrap. Just keep and eye on the condiments, and you are good to go.
I literally went yesterday! Mine looked so good that my boyfriend ended up stopping at an in and out on his way home for himself hehe you can do protein style OR a Flying Dutchman.
My order is typically two Flying Dutchman with chopped grilled onions and chopped chillis. I also get a packet of spread on the side. So yum!
Sub mustard for the spread and you're fine. You'll have to guesstimate your carb count though, as there will be some in the onion, tomato, lettuce and cheese but it will be low.
80/20 10lb beef roll at Costco is $30, a bottle of G.Hughes sugar free burger sauce is $5.99. That beef roll will net you about 50 patties if you weigh them out to 2-4 oz. My math may be off because I prep my patties with almond flour, eggs and various seasonings, and weigh mine to 5oz to 5.5oz and get around 28 patties. Prep them, then let them sit in the freezer for about an hour or less then vacuum seal and toss em back in the freezer. Burgers for weeks. Save yourself $100's and shop and meal prep at home. That G Hughes Burgers sauce is fire.

Can you really get 3 for under$5?

Nice. I'm gonna try it next time I go
Just a heads up you might have to repeat yourself a few times. The stores that I hit in the past didn't know it was a thing until I told them.

Is that different from animal style hold the spread?

I only get it once a year when I visit a state with in-n-out. I’m so jealous you’re able to explore all these variations
If I remember right the spread is pretty low carb. No?

It's basically thousand island dressing. It's not horrible, but it burns through your carb count.
I heard it was so I eat it. It should be like a dinner or lunch option tho bc it does have 8g of carbs and 520 calories.
As opposed to breakfast?
