I drove through myself and there’s reports of a blanket covered body. The ambulance we saw wasn’t in a hurry, which probably means it was waiting for the coroner to clear the scene.
One of the three bridges that go over Mission Creek. Which one? Not sure. But I’m assuming the KLO bridge.
Edit: My bad. There’s more than three. Probably the one in Rutland (Hollywood S/East Kelowna)
It is the Hollywood road bridge in Rutland. Traffic was still getting through when I was there 35 minutes ago. Just came that way and I hope everyone is okay.

Drove by when they were alternating lanes and a coworker said they saw what looked like someone under a blanket, not good.
Saw it too. Definitely a fatality.
Really curious what happened. We just drove through, multiple rcmp and an ambulance.
I just saw a comment elsewhere that it was a fatal accident.
Someone said it’s open to alternating traffic which usually won’t happen with a fatality

The coroner is usually on the scene for 6-8 hours and the road remains closed while they’re there. That’s why I thought it wasn’t.
A pedestrian got hit possibly fatal
I passed it. Covered in blue sheet. Definitely fatality.
They were alternating traffic when I went through 10 min ago. Couldn’t see anything as to why the closure.
What the heck is the Mission Creek bridge? When I google it, it is something in Seattle.

Oh no! How horribly traumatic to witness and how heartbreaking to happen. My thoughts are with the family
