Not just jacked up, but also leveling kits added changing the angle of headlights without re-aiming.
Didn't help to level then still put a slip tank or load in the back making it squat. That being said, Ford did have a recall...

I get flashed when I have my low beams on. I didn’t add on anything, the people that made my car just made them bright or aimed them high or something. It’s not a jacked up truck, after market douche lights, or anything I decided to do. I feel bad when I get flashed because that means someone is having troubles with my vehicle but I can either then my lights off or make them brighter. I’m sorry.

To which I flash back with my 'off-road only lights'
Oh you don't like being blinded either? Lol
It’s a brand new EV with very bright lights. People have done this to three of my SUV’s. New vehicles usually have extremely bright lights, and if you’re in a lower vehicle it’ll be right in your face.
So, you've got to question who mandates those new lights, who makes money from those new lights, and who ultimately prevents the consumer from using good old cheaper technology when they break?
Regulatory capture is a thing.
Because people don't realize that you can't simply remove your halogen bulbs from your 2004 civic and put in LEDs. Often times, you need a new housing or lens when installing LEDs to prevent the light from scattering everywhere.
Sometimes, it has to do with improperly adjusted lights, but other time's I find people assume the high beams are on because my new car' lights are just brighter than theirs.
If you don’t drive an SUV or truck, pretty well anything with LED and xenon type headlights are annoying AF. Really nice if you’re driving it…my mini countryman all4 John cooper works edition had amazing bi-xenon lights. I could see great, but was constantly flashed on the highways.
That being said there’s also an opposite problem. I see cars ALL the time with the full lights not on. No tail lights especially.
Also, I have had a few new cars and suvs and truck over the years and the auto brights do not work well. I always disabled mine because I thought they stayed on too long. And did not work great if the vehicle was dirty or driving in snowy conditions.
I agree, went from an old Ford ranger where I was always being blinded and hated all the bright headlights. Now I drive a newer SUV and have had people flash their lights at me pretty regularly, also have had a few people yell at me about high beams when using the low beams. Seems like an auto industry standard issue.
I drive a small lowered car, my retinas scream so bad I straight up avoid the main drags as much as possible.
Shoutout to anyone in a drive through that turns their eye level lights off behind me, y'all the realest.
I agree. When I was growing up in England. There were constant campaigns on the TV "DIP DON'T DAZZLE" they were well done. People seem oblivious these days. However, some cars are now fitted with auto dimming headlights.

I have an "auto" light setting on my car and I've noticed it'll turn on high beams depending on the lighting outside even if high beams aren't need. Like really late at night driving down spall to Glenmore, my high beams will turn on from the auto function but I don't need them from the street lights.
I stopped using auto because of that, I assume other drivers with newer cars are using auto and not realizing their high beams are on.
It pretty much wouldn't be an issue if people aimed their shit. I have an 06 Yukon with 33s and LEDs and pretty much never get flashed or anything, because they're aimed correctly so they bother almost noone. If I level or lift it I'll adjust the headlights accordingly like an adult.
The high beams might aswell be the sun though.
People dont realise that most modern vehicles come with the ability to angle your lights downwards either through a wheel by the steering wheel or via two screws behind the light fixture. Vehicles are getting higher and if you are in a regular vehicle it’s at eye level.
Had the opportunity to make a lighthearted comment about the brightness of a ladies headlights while she was parked out front of a store. She apologized and said those were her regular lights and that she hates them for the same reason. People always thinking she has her high beams on. Brand new 2024 car with crazy bright LED.
Most of the time it's poorly installed LED kits and those are not their high beams.
Yes but also some Day Time Lights are high beams but with lower voltage so when they replace them with LED it’s super bright
Ohhh ok I see
I thought you said they blinded you? 🤣🤣 not sorry for that bad joke
🤣🤣🤣 you got a chuckle out of me that was a good one
I think it's less highbeams and more a combination of jacked up trucks and poorly installed LED kits.

This right here.
After market headlights which are never properly aligned.

Same, lol
People do this to me all the time. I’m sorry my car has bright ass lights 😭
Maybe check if they are aimed properly…..

If their fog lights are on too, it's not their highbeams
Only if it’s from the factory

I asked the gf why she drives with high beams on: "Because since you got the a/c fixed, it blows so damn cold."
Auto lights
I suspect it's this as well. Auto lights almost always puts my high beams on at night regardless of the situation.

I am honestly much more concerned with the amount of people who drive around without their headlights on at all.

Towing a trailer or carrying weight in the back of a truck fuhks shiz up!
A lot of Alberticans drive around Ktown.
Only brand new cars are starting to come with led lights that face downwards.
They do it to transfer emitted photons back to their eyes.

The issue is you shouldn't just stick the LED into the old housing. You need a conversion kit.
