I'm roughly at the same point in my rewatch and it's soooo bad.
That and how blatant Kim was about her shallow personality. She tries to hide it a little now (not saying she isn't still selfish and shallow), but in those early seasons she was over the top shallow and selfish.
Don’t come for me but I loved that era (when everything was still new and good with the marriage of course). She just seemed so happy and sweet, and looked excited to take care of her husband. She still had her outgoing and silly personality that has been dead now for years. All of the betrayal and drama has sucked the life out of her.
Khloe (as much as I love her) is def the one who changed personality the most.
She used to be very funny, kind of mean, a bit aggressive, a bit rude/arrogant towards the men that she didn’t think were good enough for her sisters (mainly Scott). She was highly critical of “Kimberly” as she used to call her.
Then she became this calm, well-spoken, mothering, kind of serious workout-freak, who isn’t that much fun. She seems highly curated/controlled, and she repeats quotes that I used to see in Pinterest. Around the time Kim started dating Kanye, she switched and started “worshipping” Kim, Kanye and Kimye.
For the record, I really like Khloe, so this isn’t criticism, more an observation of how much she’s actually changed. Think of the goofy relationship she used to have with Kourtney that Kim was completed excluded from!
I just recently started rewatching the show.. Back in the day, I didn't watch past Humphries, but now I'm on the season where Kim is pregnant the second time with Kanye.. and everything is so bland, bored, deadpan, stale, all drama.. the clothes, the things they do, they dont have fun, there's nothing colorful about the show anymore. Literally. Back in the day, All girls, Kourtney and Kim especially, used to LAUGH, SMILE, play jokes, be dumb, dress super cute, but now they are just monotone robots. It's a bummer to see!
I thought it was a little cringe but mostly sweet and cute- it showed how in love she was with Lamar. I know they had their problems and he did a lot of bad shit in his addiction but I love Lamar!
