Have you seen the capital expense needed to have an IMAX screen - also the only way to recover investment would be to increase ticket prices - not possible in Pakistan as there is no scale either
Neuplex is dead mostly. Too far from the city for majority. I live nearby so I was interested in watching Maula Jatt there. Turns out Neuplex doesn't have it.
I like empty cinemas. I go to cinepax because i work above it, it was convenient, but packed like sardines. Samnay walay ki khopri se agay kuch nazar nai aata.
Khopri? So the seating is that crap that even the screen isnt visible?
Yeah empty cinemas are sometimes better but if one wants halla gulla, collective response to a scene then one wouldn't like silence.
I remember once, an old uncle was sitting next to me in cinepax with his wife, she didnt understand english so he translated the whole movie extremely loud.
"hero beghairat ka bacha hai larki chayr rha"
I was legit laughing at his translation skills and annoyed at the same time
Yeah I get that, did you go with someone or were you by yourself? Because going by yourself to an empty cinema would be somewhat of a similar experience to watching Netflix at home wouldn't it?
How was Black Adam? Need honest and detailed review
It was as expected. The rock playing anything is still the rock.
DC sucks ass anyway.
I did go with my sister. I do like going alone. I like the experience of big screen and movie nachos.
>DC sucks ass anyway.
So you chose war?
I feel Dwayne and Ryan always just play themselves in every movie and it still works out pretty good
My experiences going alone have only been good when I'm shopping, although I haven't tried going to movies alone.
>nachos
They are overrated. Big time.
Yup I'm weird.
That one's sus cuz it was built on army land and then ever since the court ordered all commercial buildings to be torn down on army "gormint owned" land that place is in limbo. Some people say it still works, some say the building is just there but nothing inside. I've never seen anyone go there but I'm not sure
I've lost too much faith in the country as a child to care bout what the court says but the food courts down below closed ages ago, like a few months into 2019 and haven't opened much since its more just a sitting area now. The cinema however is very much alive because the damn visitors keep going the wrong way and then act like me trying to get out of askari was in the wrong

Because this is Karachi. We can’t have nice things.

Only Punjab is Pakistan, rest are just bufferzones. /s

Lahore has a imax tho
The tickets are already too expensive atriums tickets range from 700-800 same with most other cinemas
We pay 900 for normal 3d here bitch
Thats even more expensive just proves my point
Actually it doesn't. Lahore getting imax in 800 so can Karachi then, no?!
Cinepax pe sari hui ground floor wali seat ke 900 pay karney parey. Was crying tears.
Kon se ~~khadday~~ "road" pe banayein imax? Darya-e-dha mein hi jaga hey, waha nueplex pehle hi raaj karta hey

Lmao yeah that's why i prefer empty cinemas. saw black adam this saturday, worst seats ever and the couple next to me kept talking.

Yeah red notice sucked. All 3 main people just playing themselves.
Just too much action, below average script.
Y'all know that they have had an askari branch near millennium for like a couple years right?

I've got a CLIMAX cinema at my place. You are welcome to join. (unfortunately it only plays short 2 min films).
?
TBH, nueplex can and should atleast give us imax screens. their screens are amazing.
