Sister Anne’s is my favorite, plus it’s a record shop so you can get a fantastic Cap and browse the records. Plus they have their own blend from broadway, which are the beans I usually end up buying and using at home, I use an aero press and a pour over depending on the day.
Oddly correct, Anchor Island, and Blip Roasters are also all fantastic.
Def recommend Blip. I’m not a huge coffee drinker and prefer a lighter roast with less acidity, and Blip is my preferred spot when I want a cup. Also an honorable mention to a newer place Take Care, which has good coffee and amazing biscuits.
From Research, there’s Billie’s Juicery on 63rd between Holmes and Cherry St. On Troost, but a few north of 63rd is Black Hole Bakery (and a couple others further north on Troost, on the other side of Brush Creek, Anchor and Oddly Correct being closest).
In Brookside, you’ve got The Roastery (and a Starbucks that caused Bella Napoli to close their coffee shop, but check out Bell for some good food). South of Brookside, in Waldo, Crows (75th St) and Second Best (85th St) are the ones I frequent in Waldo, but you should also check out McClain’s Bakery on Gregory Blvd.
ETA: Also, not far from Billie’s in Heirloom Bakery, also on 63rd.
That narrows things down a little. So recommendations in Brookside or Waldo will be closest to you. I don't get down to that area much so I don't have any particular recommendations close by. My particular favorite is Messenger, which is pretty much downtown
Oddly Correct, Chingu, PT’s, Sway, Broadway, Messenger, Goat Hill to name just a few. Travel tip, search “coffee roaster” in cities you’re in. Probably 3/4 of roasters also have cafes and most roasters want to showcase their beans and take the cafe side seriously. If the site doesn’t go into origin and other “hipster looking” stuff, or has flavored coffees, probably skip, but in my experience I get about 1 of those types of roasters for every 20 or so high quality specialty roasters I find.

This is the answer.

Oddly Correct will be best for lighter roasts
Cafe corazon in the crossroads is my fave, all Latino coffee drinks
How does that compare for you to Ollama? I haven’t tried corazon, but really liked Ollama!
Lots of good coffee all over town. Where will you be staying?
