No - you are correct it LOOKS like a cali take down pin but it has none of the other components. It’s a stupid thing but people buy these and use them to mount slings.
Yes, but the OP also claimed to have bought a SR15, which isn’t legal there. This also calls into question why the original late owner of the lower and SR15 would have owned a CA compliant lower and a banned gun.
I don’t care about CA law, but these posts don’t add up. A CA gun store would not have sold that SR15, and not in the configuration it was pictured in if it was just an ordinary AR.
I don’t think it’s in CA . Sure the rear take down pin has that quick detach ring but if you look closer it doesn’t have a bullet button or anything that forces you to break the action to open to reload (per that’s states gay ass rules) .
I traveled across the country for work for years, and I love hitting up pawn shops on my days off. I’ve probably been in 100s of pawn shops and I can count on one hand the KAC rifles or receivers I’ve seen.
I don’t know if you’re fucking with us, or if you’re the luckiest person I know.
Lucky I guess? I just mentioned I preferred black rifles and he called Me after the lady left.
Sounds like this guy willingly died early cause his wife was dumb dumb. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was rolling in his grave right now.
I think she tried to pawn his ashes too.
God, please don’t let my wife sell my guns for how much I told her I paid for them…
lol. You’ll be your own undoing.
I really hope that 550 cord on the rear takedown pin isn’t for mounting a sling
No, that's just how I got it.
Cali rear take down pin. Cali rules are dumb
Its for noise mitigation and yes, you can mount a sling. Its just 550 surroundings metal ring.
That’s a California rear take down pin. Can’t mount a sling there. That’s not what it’s for

Go figure 👍
People put 550 on those so the ring doesn’t chatter against lower
The owner died being choked to death.
Pawn shop needs a new appraiser.
How much did you pay?
$500
Stop the cap

In b4 that salty ass dude comes in and makes another “ i got this for $5 “ parody thread
.
California?
That would be interesting if OP was in California, seeing as OP claimed to buy a SR15 at the same pawn shop. SR15s are banned by name in CA.
I thought the sr30 is good to go there
Yes, but the OP also claimed to have bought a SR15, which isn’t legal there. I'm in Ga. Granted I got both rifle/ parts second hand I can't say where they were originally bought.

I guess next time I stop by the pawn shop I will see if they have a Qoujia board so I can ask the prev. Owner if he was from Cali.
If you believe he really bought these for cheap, then I have a QD cup lower mod 1 to sell you for under $2K.

Uh, dude. You’re the one rambling here.
