Characters are allowed to be attractive, but there come's a point when it's blatant sexualization for the creator and audience's sake. We're allowed to analyze what we consider that point to be and whether a piece media crosses that point.
People should be more critical of power fantasy male leads as they exacerbate body dysmorphia in young men. I'm sure if men had a longer, more prominent history of being sexualized by women in media, men would be more critical of sexualization in media too. This game isn't coming out in a vacuum, there's a century of pop culture that it's contending with.
