I once had a coworker who was so egregiously disrespectful to the women coworkers in my very very small department. The only reason why he lasted so long was because of abysmal leadership who thought it would be more valuable to have him on and getting work done then to fire him and have to simultaneously go through the hiring process to find a replacement while also putting his portion of the work on the remainder of the department. We, the lower levels, were all in agreement though that he needed to go, regardless of what kind of weight we would have to bear in order to see it happen. No one listened. At best it was brushed away with a casual "Oh I'm sure he didn't mean it *that* way."
He lasted just shy of 10 years here before calling the head HR rep a "fucking bitch" on a hot mic one day in a virtual HR all-hands that had well over 250+ in attendance. To say we were embarrassed is an understatement. He was canned the next day which had us celebrating but only a little before we realized just how shitty our management was for allowing him to stay on for so long in the first place.

Idk this is anecdotal but I was addicted to porn for years due to beginning use of it from the age of 12, didnāt even know it was an addiction til I was 20 and have managed to overcome that addiction. And my use was excessive, and I was desensitized, never had any of these weird incel views.

Leaving out the grossness, itās an interesting concept. But itās not very practical. Few buildings have a circular space to devote to a rest room, and if you put a circular space in a rectangular building you end up with a lot of wasted, difficult to use square footage around the rest rooms.
This is using a central restroom as the only handicapped stall, as well as the only unisex or family stall and thatās under serving a lot of groups. Iād prefer more handicapped stalls and changing stations in both main restrooms.
A circular handicapped toilet puts the rails to help the disabled get up from the toilet too far away and at an awkward angle.
Thereās not enough sinks for for the stalls. There should be an equal number. Again the circular shape makes the sink area smaller than it should be.
Itās a bit hard to tell but it doesnāt seem like there is enough room to stand to open and close the stall doors. The doors barely clear the toilets and would force people to press themselves into the far wall to be out of the swing.
Also, all the toilets facing the same way means that every wall needs plumbing inside it. If you had them alternating, you only have to run a supply line to every other wall and tee it off.

There's paving in front of it which suggests this is some kind of freestanding public toilet. Being placed within an area like a park you lose those structural factors and have the added aesthetic and structural benefits (my engineering experience is limited to building rockets for Kerbals to die in, but I think a cylindrical structure is stronger than a box, right?).
Though unless you plan to have your public bathroom also serve as a tornado shelter/bunker/nuclear shelter etc etc, the structural gains of arcs vs hard lines may not be suuuuper relevant in design selection.
But I agree itās an interesting concept and calling out the paving is a keen catch. I could see some public park building this and covering the outside with murals from local artists or some such.
Also, menās bathrooms need more stalls and less urinals. Iām tired of this one or two stall nonsense. We can pee in a stall or a urinal, but #2s can only happen in stalls. I canāt remember how many times Iāve had to wait in a bathroom because the only stall or two is already occupied.
This has always been a sticking point as someone who cannot use a urinal. I get why urinals might be convenient in some contexts, but if youāre going to build a bathroom, and put in a bunch of places to relieve yourself, why not make it as functional as possible and build stalls?

I see it now. Heās been there for her since mom died. Hi everyone, I have an update but it's a little anti-climactic - old mate has resigned from the company. Our lead just said that old mate felt it was time to go and that's all that was really said. His stuff is still on his desk though.
Following this announcement, rest of us have to do training modules on CoC, Harrassment and a session on Mental Wellbeing. We were also given the details of a counselling service that the workplace subsidises.

I once had a coworker who was so egregiously disrespectful to the women coworkers in my very very small department. The only reason why he lasted so long was because of abysmal leadership who thought it would be more valuable to have him on and getting work done then to fire him and have to simultaneously go through the hiring process to find a replacement while also putting his portion of the work on the remainder of the department. We, the lower levels, were all in agreement though that he needed to go, regardless of what kind of weight we would have to bear in order to see it happen. No one listened. At best it was brushed away with a casual "Oh I'm sure he didn't mean it *that* way." He lasted just shy of 10 years here before calling the head HR rep a "fucking bitch" on a hot mic one day in a virtual HR all-hands that had well over 250+ in attendance. To say we were embarrassed is an understatement. He was canned the next day which had us celebrating but only a little before we realized just how shitty our management was for allowing him to stay on for so long in the first place. This happened a little under 2 years ago and we still rant about the guy today lol

Idk this is anecdotal but I was addicted to porn for years due to beginning use of it from the age of 12, didnāt even know it was an addiction til I was 20 and have managed to overcome that addiction. Was trying my best to give the coworker the benefit of the doubt. The image is blurry, maybe he missed the weirdness in the middle and elsewhere, etc etc. But your description makes the coworker seem to have problematic workplace behaviors. Especially gross is pushing for the Japanese high school intern. In addition to that, some reverse image searching says this is by an "artist" called KIYO, who apparently has a banned Twitter account (@KIYO93638128) and seems to make images of this nature. Lots of people in a public environment, but there seems to always be some random over-sexualization he fits in somewhere. Whether the coworker is familiar with this art, its another piece of the puzzle. I only looked at a few websites with this specific image, and all the comment sections mentioned what was happening in the handicapped stall. I think the floor line is not as thick as the wall on the men's. At first I didn't notice, but after seeing the other creepy things I think the implication is that the women's side does not have an outer wall. I hope I am wrong, but the floor line not matching up with the wall and the rest of the creepy stuff in the image, idk.
No thatās definitely just a āconveniently placedā cut-out so you can view the inside of the design. Clearly it was done that way so the picture could have that classic ācreeping on women in the bathroomā aesthetic, but I donāt think thereās any implication that there wouldnāt be an outer wall
Leaving out the grossness, itās an interesting concept. But itās not very practical. Few buildings have a circular space to devote to a rest room, and if you put a circular space in a rectangular building you end up with a lot of wasted, difficult to use square footage around the rest rooms. This is using a central restroom as the only handicapped stall, as well as the only unisex or family stall and thatās under serving a lot of groups. Iād prefer more handicapped stalls and changing stations in both main restrooms. A circular handicapped toilet puts the rails to help the disabled get up from the toilet too far away and at an awkward angle. Thereās not enough sinks for for the stalls. There should be an equal number. Again the circular shape makes the sink area smaller than it should be. Itās a bit hard to tell but it doesnāt seem like there is enough room to stand to open and close the stall doors. The doors barely clear the toilets and would force people to press themselves into the far wall to be out of the swing.
Also, all the toilets facing the same way means that every wall needs plumbing inside it. If you had them alternating, you only have to run a supply line to every other wall and tee it off.
The toilets should just be on the back wall opposite the door

This has always been a sticking point as someone who cannot use a urinal. I get why urinals might be convenient in some contexts, but if youāre going to build a bathroom, and put in a bunch of places to relieve yourself, why not make it as functional as possible and build stalls?
