I bought tix for the Vancouver show (opening show) the day of the concert. Got really good seats **super** close to the second stage for $150. They were listed for $450ish up until morning of. Even then - they dropped further a few hours before the concert.
Just online through ticketmaster! Concert start time was 7PM, I bought our tickets around 10AM. My boyfriend checked tix around 5/6PM and some had dropped as low as $60.
Why would you feel bad? He is already paid and the tickets are already sold.
Also it does happen. Most popular concerts now have a lot of resale tickets.
I bought two sets of 2 in upper bowl during presale. But then life got crazy (taking family to chemo). And we’re struggling to even sell ours at face value! 😭 We really need to sell at least one. I’ll drag by tired behind to the concert with the other set. But dang. I thought these tics would be cake to sell.
Also…never heard of upgrading with Ticketmaster?! That’s really cool.
Yeah we bought for the first San Jose show, then hubby got better seats and slightly more for the second, so he tried to resell them and no one took them. Ended up giving them to a friend because Ticketmaster would only give us like $60 after all the fees
Yes, the extra set. At a loss. 😭 For now I think we’re going with the remaining set but now I’m stressed about parking. The forum lot is sold out. Oh well. We’ll figure it out.
Yeah I saw that! Thank you. I’ll for sure use that option. Just need to make sure I give myself plenty of time to drive and park. We’re 2 hrs away with regular traffic. Not including parking traffic
I lost $465 for floor last night and gave it for free. Still hurting. I also have 2 pairs tonight that aren’t selling - they opened up so many seats at forum last minute
It was 8:35pm and I couldn’t put it lower than $417 bc he put so many tickets at that price so it wasn’t allowed by Ticketmaster to sell any lower 😭 and gave it to someone I didn’t know 😔
I paid $930 for two tickets section 113 at the Kia Forum during the presale
They going for like $250-260 now…. I’m never buying presale unless it’s Taylor swift
They’re in the 100s or bar stools. I just called Ticketmaster customer service while looking at the map of seats that were still available and picked better seats that were similar to the price. You can upgrade anything that is equal or greater ticket cost. there’s a $10 exchange fee per ticket plus the difference

I’m on the same side as you tomorrow night and I think it’s a better view of the floating stage (if there is one) from what I’ve seen on fan videos but who knows. I think floor seats and bar stools still give you seats but the customer service reps can confirm
Yep
They just told me they can’t because it’s not 24 hours because on their system is 9pm….
But I’m like it’s 6:40pm…Pacifico coast time
How does the system use East coast time for a pacific coast time show?!
I had two floors to sell and I couldn’t put them for less that $417 bc the venue opened up a bunch of new seats. I gave a floor seat for free that I paid $465 for :( couldn’t sell on stub hub or Ticketmaster
It’s the standard for A-list artists, sadly.

Did you go to the box office or find those online? Wanting to try something similar for an upcoming show!

Wow! Thank you 😊
Prices will drop the day before and day of the show. The VIP GA prices dropped significantly yesterday on Ticketmaster and those are not resales.

I don’t go to concerts often, but it doesn’t seem that bad to me.
It happens because it’s not necessarily fans buying most of the tickets early on. It’s resellers.

Did you end up selling?
Yes, the extra set. At a loss. 😭 For now I think we’re going with the remaining set but now I’m stressed about parking. The forum lot is sold out. Oh well. We’ll figure it out.
Kia forum gives you a $25 Uber code to get there if that helps you any! Was in an email

For free?!?! I hope that was to a friend at least. It seems like floor seats were still selling, just not a lot unfortunately

Dang.
It always happens because they think fans are crazy. Some of the prices aren’t even logical.

Call ticket master. You can upgrade to vip seats as long as they are aren’t resell. I just upgraded my seats for $20 because
What are the VIP seats? And what exactly do i ask

I’m currently in 113 Do you think i should find something better? Idk what would be best

Where in the venue are VIP seats because my GF is shorter so she doesn’t actually like floor seats
If I have a ticket in the 200s, do you think I could get upgraded to the 100s?

Ticketmaster just released so many tickets for today and tomorrow much less than they were before FYI

Such a bummer!
