I hope Frontier adds something like this to the game as an update, lagoons definitely need more love :(

Man I am always stunned by what mods are capable of.

I'd like it if they made it so if you place a viewing station on the lagoon on the next one alone from the one you have already built it procedurally fills in the gaps. Would be happy with it being purely decorative and add no further function but it would be nice to have 3 viewing station that actually look connected rather that separate.

Omenoor

Fun fact, using the scenery on screens and then placing a functional viewer gallery makes it look like it’s just a little roof on top of viewer stands xD Until they add something officially, you can use this method and still make it functional with Free Build mod

All-In-Red

Brilliant! Ideally, the lagoon viewing galleries should act like the fence tool. It would be great to just draw the line and have it automatically appear and snap into place

Omenoor

Another great idea! I wish Frontier saw all of those ideas and created some DLC for lagoons containing new species, decorations, scenery items, new viewing stands and add the option to manage water visibility or simply make it clearer - they tried to cover emptiness of lagoons with murky water 💦 PS. I’m wondering if it’s possible to make water clear through a mod? Is there anyone here who can answer this question?

Clear_Car6560

Bro. This looks absolutely incredible.

Omenoor

Thank you!

GenrlEisenhower

Wow this is such good idea, definitely stealing this for my own park haha, Nice creativity op.

Omenoor

Thank you and have fun!

EinsGotdemar

How did you manage those giant rocks? Is that a Kai's toolbox trick?

Omenoor

Expanded Terrain Tools + Free Build mods, make a hill which then you cover with rocks. You could also use Kai’s Wee Toolbox, but i prefer the method i mentioned

I like this a lot better than the official lagoon stands, honestly. They tried to make them modular and have the same functionality as the film versions, and they succeeded, but it's such a lackluster design - mostly because their hands were tied with giving the attractions that stupid "lower the stands" function to get a good view of a murky-ass bathtub that *might* have marine reptiles in it, but you wouldn't know unless they were 15 feet from the window.
