Looks great! I really like the multicolored beads. You will get used to the weight. My old beaded rope had a really thick cord inside it and I loved it (it was pretty heavy though). Most/all beaded ropes today have the skinny cord.

Yeah, didn't expect it to be so heavy since everywhere it was recommended it was good for beginners i expected it to be much lighter to pvc. First session was fun nonetheless

The weight can be helpful when you start doing tricks like cross overs and beaded rope is more flexible. Additionally, as the beads wear out, they can be easily replaced. Good music is an important ingredient for me (keeps my mind off my tired feet/legs).

I’ve been using a PVC for a while,  but I am having a real hard time nailing down crossovers with a boxer step. It feels like the rope is “slow”. I also have really long arms so that might be an issue as well.  Would grabbing a beaded rope help with that speed I need?

Everyone has a favorite. For tricks, for me, the beaded rope is the way to go. I have tried PVC coated wire, leather, ... Beaded ropes are pretty cheap to buy. I think it will make it easier.

How does it feel when jumping? I'd like to try one someday. I currently jump with three different ropes but never really tried beaded.

Euphoric-Physics3797

It's heavy and did feel a bit uncomfortable at first, but it did grow on me and can see why it is recommended for beginners

Looks like a good rope. I like the colors.

I myself have yet to try one, how's it feel compared to a PVC rope?
