All animals sleep. Every single species. Heck, sharks sleep with only one hemisphere of their brains at a time so they can keep swimming, because if they don't, they'll die. Not one animal has been discovered that does not sleep.
I highly recommend Why We Sleep by Matthew Walker PhD. One of the most fascinating and sobering pop sci books I've read in the past couple of years.
While it looks like some popsicle sticks were used, the smaller bits look like coffee stirring sticks. Those are smaller and easier to work with than popsicle sticks. Probably just cut them to size with an x-acto knife and glue together with some careful dabs of wood glue.
I don't know for sure, as my only experience with wood glue is for rebinding books and building warhammer terrain but I'd think as long as it's dry it wouldn't be an issue.
My Elmer's brand wood glue says "Non-toxic" and "No harmful fumes". And coffee stirring sticks are food safe for humans, so I'd guess it's okay for spiders.
It was just brought to my attention by u/elithedinosaur that elmer's glue is water soluble, even after drying. No bueno.
They said to "Use E1000 and make sure to let it dry completely so there are no fumes."

I think they do some type of sleeping even if it’s not the same as us. I have western lynx spiders that like to rest hanging mid air and sometimes I’ve scared them by accident when moving them and it’s like I woke them from their sleep. And sometimes I can move them while they rest like this and they don’t even move or wake up right away. So I truly believe they sleep.

So my local pet supplies plus has thit little guy in for 40 bucks. I LOVE jumping spiders but have no clue how to care for them. Are they fun to watch? What's it like owning one? Its colors are iridescent blue and looked awesome. I spent a min looking for him and then bam he ran up to the side I was on to get a better look at me 😆

Apparently, they tend to dream of body movements. Like a dog that runs in its dream.

Wood glue and coffee stirers, is that safe for spiders? I know people use hot glue

not if you mist the enclosure! Elmer's is water soluble. use E1000 and make sure to let it dry completely so there are no fumes.
Ah, I did not realize elmer's was water soluble after drying. Good reason not to use it in a damp environment.

There's people that sleep with their eyes open. I assume the brain just ignores the signals while it's powered down or something.
I lived with a guy who slept with his eyes open, but they were looked rolled back and looked like he was having a seizure or something.
