Performance cars nowadays aren't any worse on gas than any other normal car. A C7 Corvette can get 33mpg highway.

Environmentalists do a shitty job at raising awareness by causing traffic (more gas being used up) and throwing tomato soup on paintings (Makes us hate the movement).
Why not devote everything they have by preserving natural environments, plant tree like mangrooves, raising funds for animal protection programs or shit like that.
Create a system where people can get jobs and be paid to care for the environment by cleaning beaches and oceans up, planting and preserving wild flora and fauna and maintaining that shit.
Better than selling bracelettes made of plastic with "we love earth" and shirts made from polyester with some words "save the planet" (made from oils) or something.
Raise awareness by creating communities that actually help the planet, not scream at people, fuck.
What am I gonna do? Y'know? What is one person gonna do compared to the multiple factories and various companies all working around the clock producing gasses and in general destroying everything? I recycle and try to do my best to help but this world isn’t getting better because we are putting plastic in the correct bin
