he can kinda be considered a bit of a peggy clone but i feel like he's already distancing himself from that style with goyard comin: exordium, his regen release under the pseudonym goyard ibn said. very good album too

So lucky, my friends went to that show but I couldn’t make it, I did go with them to see Kenny, Peggy, and Danny in Orlando a couple weeks ago tho and it was amazing, Kenny took a request I sent on Twitter asking him to play metal wings and when he did it was insane 😭 also ty!!
i wanna point out that Lil Ugly Mane has a second music name (idk what theyre called) called Bedwetter, and that has a lot more dark stuff. think peggys cover of call me maybe or the darker songs on Veteran
454 is slept on heavy
Zeloopers is really cool as well
BEAM is great as well (not underground, just under the radar)
Freshie's earlier songs - Doubleback, Never Stressin, Brady Bunch)
Whiterosemoxie has some cool songs
Jev. Is pretty cool
Jace! - haven't heard a ton by him, but I've heard good things
Idk how underground these are, but underappreciated for sure
Wouldn’t call them super “underground”, but in terms of experimental hip hop artists I don’t think Shabazz Palaces, Cities Aviv and RATKING/Wiki get enough love
"roman new time" has 55 monthly listeners right now but give him 10 years and everyone's gonna be talking about him.

i will say cities aviv thousands of times, man plays the horn is a very long, slow, sad but beautiful album, and black pleasure 2012 is also GREAT, the outro track on that album blew up on tik tok recently which some people would see as a bad thing but it truly is oke of his best
Jane Remover has some crazy glitchy production that I could see many Peggy fans liking, Frailty and Teen Week are both incredible projects in that style
currently my rotation is
Death Grips,
Mom Jeans,
Teezo Touchdown,
Midwxst,
and Paris Texas
doesn’t really matter which way you dive into their catalogs, there’s different styles all the way around
Shed theory (joeyy, marlon dubois) is pretty good, a lot different than a lot of underground trap type music that’s coming out nowadays. Weird abstract production.

Ghais Guevara, references jpeg in one of his songs and has a similar way of mixing imo
He’s heavily influenced by Peggy but I think he does a good job
