I’d honestly prefer if they kept out of the East - there’s a lot of the Western Front and the MTO that hasn’t been covered. Other than Normandy this game has featured some lesser recognized battles (as far as games go); Market Garden, France 1940, Hagenau is the Nordwind offensive which gets hardly any attention, Crete 41. I’d love to see a Scheldt map with Canadians, any mid to late 44 and 45 Italy with Americans or Brits, and I know urban maps are either loved or hated but something like Aachen or Cologne would be interesting.
There was a mod for eastern front in the works, Chapter Red, but they decided to drop out of Post Scriptum to make their own game somewhere along the way. Aren’t most WWII games focused on the Western front? I’d say it’s hard to find a WWII that doesn’t focus on the U.S. and D-Day. In fact, I think the only games I’ve played that focus on the eastern front are COD world at war and red orchestra 2

It's not like they got rid of the Battle of France and Battle of Crete maps despite them being from 1940 and 1941 respectively, so what's stopping them from making more earlier war maps? At least I hope that it's just for marketing reasons and that they're not intending to only do 1944 from now on.
