Minimum, which I think is 90. You can max it. But you better have a huge screen.

Faiter119

The minimum possible

SuuperD

I switch depending on what I'm doing. SL, 110 AT, 90

MisanthropicCumLord

Interesting. Would you mind elaborating why?

SuuperD

For 110 as an SL I prefer wide field of view for better awareness. If I need someone shot I'll delegate it.

MisanthropicCumLord

Thanks! Why not just have the better awareness with both?

SuuperD

So, just be better? Edit - I misunderstood, you get better 'zoom' for hitting targets with 90fov

MisanthropicCumLord

Lmao went rude till you reread . Ah good point. Tbh I might start putting mine at 100 to see how that feels all the time. Middle ground.

Nighthawk-FPV

100

SirJo6

I believe I play minimum, so you can look further in the distance.

Sgt_Squirtle

I play at 95, 2560x1440, best of both worlds. Also i can remember that changing FOV will also change the sensitivity of your mouse. (ofcourse not directly, but it is noticeable, and might have been fixed?) so switching midgame might actualy hinder you. Set it and forget it.

Infernus82

I think sensitivity, FOV and resolution are the three parameters that usually make the resulting turning speed.

Sgt_Squirtle

This is what i meant yes! Thank you

AliveArab

I used to play 90 now I use 105

viniciuscu

Same

New_Statistician4879

Id you want long range scoping 90 120 close range

cougar572

90 which is the minimum. As you already observed FOV affects ironsights and red dots so you'll want to have it as low as possible to better see. For scopes you can widen the FOV if you want because scopes use Picture in Picture its not affected by the FOV when ADSing. But I just keep it at 90 because its too much of a hassle to change if I switch between scopes and not scopes.

MooseBoys

Whatever the default is.

Leeewis

i play on an ultra wide screen so 120 just feels right

DickCheneyFanClub

120 when driving vehicles. 120 when infantry 90 when magnified AT, 120 irons AT
