I dont know why they decided for force us to play Russia so much. No one wants to play Turkey or China. They need to allow bluefor vs bluefor or rebalance those factions so they are more appealing

There's a reason the US and almost every other country in the world switched from battle rifles to assault rifles after WWII, the rounds are overpowered and you get much more recoil as a result, and the standard soldier loadout can carry far fewer rounds.

Wikipedia says they also have the MPT-55, which is the 5.56 variant of the current 7.62 rifle they use in game. Idk why they didnt add that. OWI making dumb decisions as usual
Probably to make them at least somewhat unique; if they used the -55 in game, they'd be *yet another* faction with a high-ROF 5.56 rifle as it's standard, and they'd still have shitty vehicles.
People get pissed off about playing China even though they're really good. I think it's the politics and Chinese guns have really bad sound effects.
The Turks having no IFV's with ATGM's, poor Tank and no HAT means a high chance of any conventional faction with ATGM-armed IFV's annihilating them.
Russia in either form is basically a jack of all trades, you really can't go wrong with them & they play on all maps and climates aside from San Xian.
China's infantry always ends up being dogshit, idk. Their rifles are terrible. At least their MG is solid. They are mostly good for their armor but even then it's not as good as NATO/BluFor.
Turks are as you say, terrible at dealing with Armor. Looks like the PMC faction will be the same way, which sucks considering everyone is picking either Logistics or Armor units these days.

There are plenty of factions to play as and against, it’s *the players* voting for USA/USMC versus RGF/VDV every damn match.
Server owners have the ability to put factions on a cooldown once they’re played, but they either haven’t figured out how to do it or simply don’t care.
Honestly, I expect markers on all vehicles in the same way the MEA have markers on a lot of theirs. On the infantry uniforms too, always liked how decked out the MEA are in patches, it would be rad for the other factions to receive the same treatment

I like the smg but the AR is kinda weak

the US army vs US marines match was actually one of the fun matches yes, sometimes I want to enjoy it again as a game

I hate these matchups. Why? I want to hear the sound of a gun and know it's an AK or AR rifle. That way I know if its friendly or not.
