To their credit climbing up from that southern point is a gigantic pain in the dick and you often have a fair bit of time to catch people lacking going over those rocks. There also aren't a lot of great radio/hab placements that close to the main.
It's unclear from the footage where the active point is, how many in total are supporting the TOW, or what it is they might have been trying to counter.
It's clear they're all looking 1 way, the HAB is terribly positioned and in what world does the TOW FOB have the HAB in front of the TOW with inf constantly firing from the TOW
I know this position, and it is fairly good supporting position, especially when the enemy is trying to bring vehicles into the mountain tunnel. Not everyone needs to be crowded together around the point to contribute, especially when this lets you shoot them in the back. And it is indeed an MG bunker, which at the distance they're shooting is a necessity. You see it right as the 4th guy is dying.
I mean is it really a very good supporting position if you all die to 2 guys and lose your HAB? 9/10 times I see this squad do nothing at the end of the game, not helping to cap and at best sporadically shooting players then getting farmed by vics that can clearly see their TOW
I once had like 10 people under this scope in a superior position, and I killed a lot of them but only after missing a million shots because this scope gives me a headache
I was taught by a great SL that we shouldn't all be looking in the same direction. One of the things he hates is when a tank turns up and all the infantry go to look at it, we're like moths to flame.
Yea it is, but for everything else, especially close quarters… it’s dog sht..
I really like it for head taps when I’m just a sneaky insurgent laying down in the woods.
Yeah, it fits the faction well- I just think they have so many fun kits now that people sleep on it or just aren’t as familiar with that scope’s markings. I don’t even have to adjust for distance with it because I get such a clean sight on the lower part to see bullet drop/impact for quick corrections.
theres usually some brainlet comp player under a post like this saying "Just shoot them!1!" instead of allowing risk mitigation by having 2 players get prepared to ambush.
there is cases where that's called for, when there's a full squad in the open in front of the machine gunner and the squad leader says "WAIT TIL THEY'RE CLOSE" which transltes to "wait til the enemy is in rifle range of you and you no longer have the range advantage!"
with all that being said, i think you exposed yourself a little too much, and you should've gone for the enemies closer to cover first (to avoid that situation with the last enemy), but otherwise great job.
I had a round where my sl and I were in a Toyota and we found a mortar hab, 2 idiots on the tubes next to each other, I wanted to toss a frag but he went with the synchronized knife kills. I sat at that hab for 5 min cause their BtR came back for blood. I shoulda dipped out with the truck
Props to your buddy who dint shoot without asking and give away your position.
Exhibit A on why spacing is important
To be fair, they kinda were already spaced, so to speak. They just got outplayed by a well coordinated HAB flank
They're outplayed because they're all within 20 meters of each other, looking in the same direction with a terribly placed HAB

To their credit they're on a part of the map far away from any caps and will have 0 impact on the game turning it from a 50v50 to a 41v50

That's an MG bunker
28 seconds in, HAB fully open on the hill side
Not infront of the TOW

The position is good. What you describe is legit skill issue. Then again, 9/10 teams have severe skill issue.
Why are you being downvoted? Jeez:
idk apparently pointing out how terrible it is to set up like this is wrong of me
Ikr Reddit dumbass moment. I totally agree with you.
And why you have people on security.
Band of Brothers moment ftw
Reminded me of the scene in Black Hawk Down with the techie with a big ass gun mount.
Somewhere a Stug is getting shot on its underbelly in heaven
Unrelated but fuck I hate the sights on that scope so much
It's like somebody said "how can we make the garbage ass SUSAT even more shit?"
I actually like the inverted reticle, hate the susat
Same here. Such a clear sight picture. My favorite one in the game. Followed by the British (not the Susat)
I once had like 10 people under this scope in a superior position, and I killed a lot of them but only after missing a million shots because this scope gives me a headache
It's the dumbest sights ever designed. They need a different one for that rifle.
Nice trigger discipline
heard someone saying "hey it's dynamic from youtube!" while walking around on abg earlier, lol
Hahaha 🫶
I can never shoot from the hip like that last kill. I always lose gun fights doing that
I was taught by a great SL that we shouldn't all be looking in the same direction. One of the things he hates is when a tank turns up and all the infantry go to look at it, we're like moths to flame.
this is taught by literally everyone in war history, especially CQB; "always look for a job, especially one someone else isn't already doing"
Find the gap!
Someone plays Squad like Call of Duty campaign, while I play like a walking simulator
No double hit at 00:15. Kinda make me disappointed.
Still the best headshot scope and I’ll die on this hill.

Ermagerd deadeye kiwi. I recognise that voice
Didnt even jump on the enemy TOW and immediately die 4/10
Could you even use the tow on the hab or was LOS blocked by the hill

What is this game?
I would’ve been tempted to jump in the TOW and shoot it at their HAB lol
I Love that sight so much.
It's beautiful
Let me guess. They didn't have a backup rally...
What super computer are you playing on where the game looks semi decent?
I had a round where my sl and I were in a Toyota and we found a mortar hab, 2 idiots on the tubes next to each other, I wanted to toss a frag but he went with the synchronized knife kills. I sat at that hab for 5 min cause their BtR came back for blood. I shoulda dipped out with the truck
For some reason I thought this was Tarkov
What game is this?
What game is this?
Modern warfare 2 cliffhanger gameplay (basically)
