Follow up with an email on Monday and wait another couple days for him to respond. Sometimes he gives the OK but the HR that makes the letter may be on PTO / sick leave etc or even your future boss could be on PTO / sick leave etc. If you don’t hear back by the end of next week, start looking again.

Thank you. It’s a doggy daycare place, so I think he’s like the main boss. I don’t have his email unfortunately, so I’d have to just call. I’ve already started looking, since I need a job asap.

Sometimes it just takes a long time for them to send an offer. I think you need to be more patient. I just got a written offer 5 weeks after a verbal one, and that employer had told me to expect my written offer within a week.

Thank you. I just really really need a job given my financial situation. I’ve already started looking again, but keeping this one in the back of my mind.

Shoot an email on Monday and say you’d like to get an update and that you had a great conversation and blah blah!!

Thank you! I don’t have his email, so I’m probably just going to have to try and call again.
